Great place for family and friends, with a basement play area for kids!
The staff are really friendly, the pork knuckles are perfectly crispy and juicy, and the beef liver is delicious.😋

The Location is great, close to the S3-Station „Lochhausen“.

Great menu - not too extensive but something for everyone, veg, vegan, and traditional… it’s been to my experience a great value-for-money

I sent 2 days here, I would describe the room basic, rustic but everything you need and it pay homage to the true „Gasthof“ style which is great, as it doesn’t claim to be anything but.
Overall
The host, Florian is an open, friendly personality, they have re-animated the location 10 month ago and doing a great job keeping up the tradition of an 120 yo institution and yet giving the place a modern outlook and approach! Monday is their day-off but Florian invited me to his personal space to share a meal - any questions??
I my opinion, one of the few authentic -bavarian-friendly and close to home places in a very close proximity to city-center.
Keep it up and I will keep coming!

We can only say great things about Deutsche Eiche! I am American and my husband is German. We have been coming to this restaurant for about 6 or 7 years and really love it. The food and service are excellent! They have a lovely interior and also a beautiful outside garden with outside seating. We highly recommend!

We have at the 4. 3. 16 here is our wedding party had, and I must say, were really super friendly staff, the operation was correct. quick and attentive it was to the wishes we received the power to come back so, the price of power con-sumption ratio was, the top was more than Satisfied

We wanted the 80. Birthday of my grandma, and since this day on mother's day and communion fell, we are called to celebrate, in November. The appointment would be at 11. May have been! After a lengthy discussion with the service on the phone I was given but to the Boss because there was a Problem with the Book!! You my and I repeat verbatim, "you could us to reserve a table because you would not would know how many to come exactly Union, and mother's day".
We have 4 years are celebrated in a row, every birthday of grandma, and then get dumped like that!!!
Not to recommend even more, and unfortunately, this is not the first time it happened, as I was just in the other reviews was able to read!!! A great pity this is handled in such a way with guests!!!

Today we were at the 14.2.16 in the German oak.In spite of an early reservation for our tribe of the upper and the man is a regular guest for 10 years or even longer ,forget the reservation.the table you got assigned,is used on normal days for crockery storage between a passage.

Quaint Bavarian Inn with fine cuisine, regional and seasonal variations.
Simply great food in a Bavarian atmosphere. Behind the house illuminated a spacious beer garden, in the evening, great. Child friendly and just good.
Being in close proximity to the S-Bahn, also for car-free beer garden visits ideal. The only drawback: very popular, thus sometimes a bit crowded.

Beautiful and traditional bavarian place. Beautiful Biergarten. Service is good but not the best, specially for the language, most of the personnel speak very little English. Rooms are warm and cozy, keys are a pain.

Previously, we were happy there, but in the last few months the food has diminished greatly. The food was fatty, the cheese sparrows a disgusting Mush that I got my stomach rotten. Also the used to be so good Kaiserschmarrn was just a Mush, with a variety of fruits prepared (aqueous). Hardly Any Powdered Sugar. Maybe the chef was sick, but it is not easy to cook so bad..too Bad, but now we're not going back definitely.
