Very basic. Lots of mold in the bathroom and the faucet was coming apart. We have been traveling around the world and have not stayed in this kind of place ever. The sofa was stained and dirty. The man in reception wasn’t friendly at all. They were price gouging as it was Oktoberfest, very loud until 3am then started again at 6 am. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Managed to check-in early after arriving in Munich at 8am. Great help from workers behind the desk and throughout. Room clean with little nosey from location. High recommend being walking distance from the Old Town and other attractions

😊During reception opening time, the lady were very nice and helpful.
😊Clean.
😊Cheapest hotel in this central area.
😟BUT: If you arrive late, you need to call a telephone number to get a code for your keys. 💥Suggestion : maybe send the key code as a message or an mail instead?!
😟You will only get new towels if you ask for it. No ordinary room cleaning.
😡ROOM 43 HAS A SLIGHT SMELL OF (POISONUS) MOLD. KEEP THE WINDOWS OPEN!
😟One or two small flies always in the room.
👍I read in one of the other descriptions that the hotel soon is to be closed for renovation. Very good idea!!

I stayed 2 nights, rooms were basic but did the job. Beds were very comfy. Only downside is it got very loud during the night. There are a number of clubs along the street and in the evenings and throughout early hours of the morning this was a lot. My room was facing the street so this may not be an issue for other rooms.

Be careful when booking that you aren’t thinking you are booking a room at the other hotel in the area. It’s outdated and really needs some updating. My shower glass had a crack in it that I was very concerned might shatter too while I was in it.

The room was clean though and the bedding was clean, so I’m glad at least for that. The staff were beyond nice and helpful though and let me work for a few hours in the dining area until it was time for me to catch a train.

Location wise, it’s a 10 mins walk south east of the HBf so that’s super nice, but it’s a little questionable at night time, especially if you’re a solo female traveler like I was.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel. We had a large room on the 5th floor and it was very comfortable. I sleep good every night. The Hotel staff was great, always friendly and answered all of our questions. We enjoyed the breakfast that the Hotel provided, it was great. We were close to the Hauptbahnhof and the Marienplatz.

The hotel is very nice, even though it's a bit dated. Everything is very clean, and I feel safe leaving my things in the room, as well as when coming and going on foot. The furnishings are solid, breakfast buffet was great. I would definitely stay here again. My only complaints are about the WiFi, which can be spotty, and one time I had to wait at the desk for a minute for service.

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Had a good sleep. 7 minute walk to Munich's main train station. Couple of minutes walk to the underground or tram. 10 minute walk to the town hall. (old town)

The hotel is dirty, a lot of dust and the room had not fresh air. The door of the shower could not be closed, and I've closed it took me five minutes to open it. Elevator is from two centuries ago. Breakfast had medium variety and bad quality, very expensive for what it is. Staff is friendly though. Overpriced.
