Cocoon Stachus in Munchen

My friend and I had an exceptional experience at Cocoon Stachus. It started with the amazing Linda greeting us at Check in, she was very warm and welcoming. She saw we were tired and gave us the rooms right away to get a break. Her warm smile made us feel very welcome. The rooms are sparkling clean. The hotel itself is modern and cozy and very unique. We walked every day to old town was only a 15 minutes walk. I loved the touch of the hotel providing bakeries and different fruits daily at Front desk. Very thankful for this hotel

In itself, this is a nice hotel. The location is central near the train station, and you can quickly reach the city center. The hotel room is a bit cramped—especially regarding access to the bed—but nicely designed and functional. A major drawback is that not only the bathroom but also the toilet is open. And not just visually, due to the glass walls, but also physically—there's no door to close off the toilet. This isn't pleasant on its own, but it's a disaster for two people.

Aside from the structural issues, there was another unpleasant incident. On the second day, I was about to go to my room in the afternoon when the door suddenly opened from the inside and a man came towards me. I was quite startled at first. It turned out that there had been a problem with the room booking; I hadn't appeared as a guest, and someone else had been booked in. When this man then realized that the room was already occupied, he began searching for the identity of the person whose belongings were spread out in the room. I then had to explain who I was and how long I intended to stay. These things happen, but it was really unpleasant because someone had simply gained access to my room, and it was difficult for me to judge whether the man was actually the hotel manager, as he claimed. Ultimately, though, everything seems to have turned out alright...

A great hotel is always defined by its staff. Rustam greeted us and checked us in, and we're incredibly grateful to him. He's the best employee, always helpful, responsive, cheerful, and kind. If only there were more staff like him, our stay would be so much better and the service superb!!!))))

Stayed in Cocoon Stachus first week of December. Room was quiet, facing the backyard. Spotless clean, bright and comfy. Absolutely loved the swing in the room. The receptionist girl was very friendly and very profesional, always happy to go the extra mile. Staying in Cocoon not for a first time, and quite sure that will be back again on our next family trip during festive season. Many thanks to all hotel staff :)

Very comfortable rooms. Amazing breakfast buffet. Huge selection and everything was healthy and delicious. The hotel was in walking distance of the Marienplatz. Great location.

Very close to the train station, making transportation convenient. There are shops and restaurants nearby, and you can walk to all the major attractions. We paid the same price for two rooms, and one of them had a swing, which the kids absolutely loved. Check-in is self-service, but since we weren't sure how to do it, the hotel staff kindly assisted us. Overall, it was a pretty good stay.

Great location as you are 6min walk from central station for any long distance trips, 3min from Bop on Hop of buses as well as day trip pick ups. Walking distance to almost everything five or take 15-20min walk.

Hotel is as described, it’s cute, got safe inside, closer by the door. Area has some amazing Turkish food. The area has 3 strip clubs and sport betting bar on the strip, lots shawarma and durum which was amazing! So delicious
