Hotel Am Moosfeld in Munchen

This is a good hotel, about a 10-minute walk from one station and 15 minutes from another. It was quiet and green, even though it's near an area with strip clubs and such, which didn't affect our stay. The bed linen was excellent, and the shower temperature ranged from super cold to boiling hot, which we appreciated. However, the floor was dirty; housekeeping didn't clean because we had the 'do not disturb' sign on. You could only get tea for an extra 5 euros, and they'd bring a kettle and a few tea bags. The coffee machine at reception broke on the first day and was paid anyway, but cold still or sparkling water was free, and you could add syrup. We never used the sauna because it was crowded with many naked men and the changing room was communal. When we went in, there was a small naked girl among the men, which made us uncomfortable, so we left. That was a huge disappointment, especially since there are many rooms in the hotel, and everyone wants to use the sauna in the evening. The lobby is large and pleasant; I read a book there, and the staff at the front desk were super professional.

My stay in Am Moosfeld Hotel was amazing, free water upon checkin, free flowing water at the lobby, coffee available all day (at a cost), with indoor swimming pool and sauna available until 11pm. Hotel is about 10-15mins away from the nearest station which is great, and easy to navigate once you got used to it. Staff were very friendly.

The hotel surroundings are excellent, with blooming flowers, and it's clean and comfortable. The facilities are quite comprehensive, and the breakfast selection is rich. The only downside is that the room is a bit small, but overall, the stay was very pleasant.

This hotel leaves nothing to be desired. More than excellent in my opinion. I can't pick out anything specific to highlight because EVERYTHING was top-notch.

Recommendation for the hotel manager:
Door closers on the hotel room doors (prevents loud slamming of doors).
A sign asking people to shower before using the pool, as many people entered the wonderful pool without showering.

Very friendly welcome. Great, albeit a bit cold, pool! Breakfast was quite good – many vegan options available. We would come back.

We were traveling with our family in Bavaria and booked a hotel in the quiet Munich Moosfeld neighborhood. The hotel has a problem with not enough parking spaces, and when we checked in, we mentioned that we had a person with special needs. They immediately gave us free parking in the parking garage. The gentlemen at the reception were exceptional and immediately offered our child a piece of cake. Truly unimaginable in this cruel world. The hotel itself is great, especially considering the price. The room is large and spacious. I hear complaints that the hotel is not modern enough, but comfort is important to us, and the beds were comfortable, the air conditioning worked great, and the room was extremely clean. The food was great. The breakfasts were exceptionally rich, and we had dinner in the hotel restaurant, where the dinners were great. The pool is in another building, but it's a great way to cool off on hot days. The metro station is just a few hundred meters away and takes you straight to the city center. All in all, our stay at this hotel was excellent, the attitude towards people with special needs is exemplary, and the price is fantastic considering the service. We will definitely be back.

This hotel is a no-frills establishment, but has a level of quality appropriate for enjoyable personal and business travel. It is well situated (with an S Bahn stop nearby), the staff is friendly and very helpful, and the restaurant is good. Highly recommended, provided you don't absolutely require first-class treatment!
