It was the worst experience in my extended travel history. I could not check in digitally for some system failure for more than one hour, standing and freezing outside. Finally the host decided to come out and give me the key. I had problems with paying online too and the same host was the rudest human being I have ever met. The breakfast was the poorest one and I was charged extra for it with 15 euros though whenever I booked this hell it was supposed to be included. In the morning my room was entered by the cleaning person totally unapologetically twice.

so, avoid this place by all means. Go as far as you can.

The ease of everything with the hotel means that everything can be done without interaction with the staff at all. This makes all aspects of the stay simpler and provides flexibility in all aspects of the stay. The room was simple, and had all that was necessary for my stay, the bed was comfortable although the pillow wasn't to my taste. I appreciated having a large window and despite being near the entrance I was not distracted by any noise external to my room. Check-in and check-out were both simple affairs, and having everything controlled through the phone was also a nice touch, reducing the reliance upon a key that could be lost. The location of the hotel is also very good, with connections to public transport, S-Bahn, U-Bahn and busses all available within a short walk. Disliked · I think the bathroom could have been cleaner, and to enhance the privacy of the rooms on the ground floor (particularly facing the courtyard) a screen or film could be placed on the window.

It's true the stairs and the check-in take some negotiating, but we had a spacious, airy, clean, quiet room with large beds and excellent plumbing. A cot arrived when we requested one. It's also a great location for exploring the city so it may suit you if you are travelling lightish and are reasonably mobile

The hotel was very simple and convenient for the price, making it a great value for a short stay. Check-in and check-out were contactless, which was smooth and hassle-free. Parking is available, but I recommend requesting it in advance if needed.

However, one issue significantly affected our experience. Despite having plenty of time left before check-out, a housekeeping staff member knocked once and immediately opened our door. We were still resting in bed and couldn’t react right away. While they quickly closed the door, it was an uncomfortable and unpleasant experience.

Additionally, another housekeeping staff member was having a loud phone conversation in the hallway for nearly 30 minutes. Given that the hotel’s soundproofing was poor, the noise was quite disruptive.

Although we were able to check out with an overall positive experience, the attitude of the housekeeping staff prevented this from being a perfect stay.
