We had a very good experience here at the le meridien hotel munich! We were greeted warmly by the receptionist, alex miller. I remembered him clearly because of his warm and welcoming demeanor.
He gave very good restaurant recommendations ( all were very delicious - attached is the list) and went above and beyond!! Kudos to him.
Perhaps the only thing missing was toileteries amenities which were not in the room, but if you request for them they will give you. Bottled water is only given 1 per day.
Would definitely come back and recc people to stay here!

The staff is extremely professional, helpful and polite. Our stay was amazing courtesy the amazing services of the buffet at breakfast and the housekeeping.
We would love to come back to Munich only to experience the hospitality of Le Méridien. Great location and accessibility.

One of the WORST I have stayed.
Zero service. On check-in, found out body lotion bottle was almost empty. It was not replaced the next day.
Bed making was HORRIBLE. pl see photo. This Is the photo after house keeping the next day. I have not seen such lousy bed making in a 5 star hotel all these years. My kids can fold their blankets better than this.
As it's winter, they do not provide air con, only heater. Room was stuffy and hot. But if U open the window, it's noisy .

Stayed at Le Meridien Munich 2 years ago, and we had a very good experience and sweet memory while staying there. And in this holiday we came back to Munich, bring our whole family to explore more about Munich, and decided back to this hotel, because of the previous experience.
And again we all are very satisfied.
All the staffs were again very very friendly, the room was very clean, the breakfast super, and the location right in front of the train station.

First, I would not recommend this hotel to travelers with young children or elderly family members. The surrounding area is highly mixed and felt unsafe during our stay. Within just three nights in Munich, we personally witnessed incidents including fighting and shop theft. This created a strong sense of insecurity for us as a family traveling with young children.
Second, the bathroom design is extremely inconsiderate and poses safety risks. The raised bathroom floor becomes very slippery after the first person showers, yet no grab bars or safety features are provided. This is unacceptable for a hotel of such a well-known brand, and it is shocking that guest safety was clearly not considered during the design stage.
Third, the housekeeping service was disappointing. Despite being out since morning, our room was not cleaned when we returned in the evening. When we requested assistance just to empty the rubbish bin, the cleaner refused, claiming our room was not within their assigned work area—even though it was on the same floor. Cleaning was only carried out after we called the housekeeping hotline, which left us very disappointed with the service standard.
Overall, the experience fell far below expectations for a branded hotel, particularly in terms of safety, design consideration, and service quality.

Stayed here for 2 days on business. Got a good corporate rate and was upgraded. Rooms are decent sized but a bit sparse in furnishing. A solid "4 star" hotel in quality. The quality of room construction, like all hotels of this era is a bit "plastic", but that is not the fault of the hotel
Good points: room was clean, staff was very friendly. I found the breakfast to be FANTASTIC and on par with many 5 star hotels: custom-cooked egg station, plenty of juice and pastry options. Really good sausages (this is Germany, after all). Very attentive staff. Room and hotel is good value for money; i don't think you can go too far wrong. Very close to U and S bahns, so an easy ride to tourist spots and the airport.
