The rooms are horrible and only one color across all ceilings floor beds everything is either green, orange, blue, or yellow. The service was not bad but also not good. The only thing mildly good was the location due to its nice surroundings.

The Jugendherberge is a very good option for a hotel while staying here, unfortunately not all the rooms were with the bathroom. And lastly the neighbourhood was very good looking

Location 10 minutes' walk away from the station according to their website, 13 mins. according to Google, but if you are not a professional athlete and have any luggage, it's about 20 minutes or more. The bedside lamp by my bunk didn't work. I reported it to reception, who promised to have it fixed. They never did -during my entire week-long stay. The en-suite bathroom stank chronically, as if something were rotting out of sight, and the smell would waft out and take over the whole dorm. The only way to prevent this was by making sure the bathroom door was always kept shut. I didn't report it because I reasoned that if they couldn't change a lightbulb, they're unlikely to manage plumbing. No drinking glasses at breakfast, even on request -you are supposed to drink water out of mugs, which I intensely dislike, because their policy is not to provide drinking glasses in the interest of safety. Likewise, no trays. You need to bring food to your table plate by plate -and the plates are small, side plates, not dinner-size. Again, it's a house policy. On my last day I asked them to print a train ticket. They refused without as much as an explanation, but probably for the sake of cybersecurity. Still, nowhere near top customer service! I have decided (maybe generously) to give them an overall "two star" rating because, in spite of everything, my room was quite spacious, access is relatively easy, and I enjoyed the international TV channels in the (tiny) adults-only room.

We felt very comfortable here. Rooms with 6 beds, wardrobes and a sink. Shower and toilet were separately across the aisle, but the room assigned and lockable. CENTURY has a winter entrance, extra ski storage and a drying room for shoes and gloves as well as a washing machine and dryer. We had full Board and the warm dinner was super. Always 2 dishes to choose from (one vegetarian). The Highlight is the climbing wall that you could climb in every night, 2h, under the guidance.

Hammer! Very nice hostel! Again at any time. The family room and the Breakfast were excellent. The staff is very nice.
We can recommend this hostel to all cases.
The only drawback as with so many youth hostels allowed: sorry no dogs. Too bad.

Beautiful living rooms, beautiful ambience, only the different colors of the room (either blue, orange or green) I find a bit too much color, and partially exhausting. Otherwise, really my style! Reminiscent of Bauhaus...

The building looks very nice. There are many places to see and you can easily visit them without vesicles. The houses are nicely decorated. The natural views are also mind blowing.

Great If you're travelling with kids, centrally located, friendly staff. The rooms are quite small though.
