Holiday Inn - the niu, HIDE BERLIN FRIEDRICHSHAIN by IHG in Berlin

Terrible experience, complete waste of time. Highly NOT recommended.




The parking management at this hotel is extremely chaotic and unprofessional.
Upon check-out, the hotel charged me €14.6 for parking and provided no receipt at all.




After paying, my car could not exit the parking lot — the machine kept saying my parking card was invalid.
I spent nearly two hours going back and forth between the hotel and parking staff, with no proper help from the hotel.




The parking staff did not speak English, but that was not their fault.
In the end, I was forced to pay an extra €12 to get a new card from the parking lot just to leave.




To make it worse, the hotel’s parking fees are unfair and inconsistent:




• Actual parking rate: €1/hour, max €6 per day




• Hotel overcharged: €12 per day + €2.6 tax




This hotel has terrible management, no transparency, and refuses to take responsibility.
Not up to any acceptable hotel standard.

Äußerst schlechte Erfahrung, totale Zeitverschwendung. Nicht empfehlenswert!




Die Parkplatzverwaltung dieses Hotels ist extrem unorganisiert und unfähig.
Beim Auschecken verlangte das Hotel 14,6 € für das Parken und stellte keinerlei Quittung aus.




Nach der Zahlung konnte ich das Parkhaus nicht verlassen – die Anlage zeigte ständig, dass die Parkkarte ungültig sei.
Ich habe fast zwei Stunden damit verbracht, zwischen Hotel und Parkplatzpersonal hin und her zu laufen, ohne Unterstützung vom Hotel.




Das Parkpersonal sprach kein Englisch, aber das war nicht deren Schuld.
Letztendlich musste ich zusätzlich 12 € zahlen, um eine neue Karte zu bekommen und endlich wegzufahren.




Noch dazu sind die Preise untransparent und widersprüchlich:




• Tatsächlicher Parkpreis: 1 €/Stunde, max 6 €/Tag




• Hotel überzieht: 12 €/Tag + 2,6 € Steuer




Unorganisiert, unverantwortlich und keine Bereitschaft zur Problemlösung.
Nicht dem Standard eines seriösen Hotels entsprechend.
