NH Berlin City Ost in Berlin

For the good:
The reception was friendly and efficient, there is parking available (18€/day), as well as plenty of street parking nearby.
The room was clean, included a free bottle of water and had a flat TV, fridge, trouser press, a safe as well as a kettle and a selection of express coffee and tea.
The bad:
We had room 303, which is directly beside the sign of the hotel, so you have light in the room the whole night. And the curtains are transparent, don't come here if you like to sleep in a dark room.
The furniture of the room is old but in ok condition. The room being old, you also don't have any USB port by the bed and also no electrical plug available (only at the desk under the TV).
The mattress is extremely hard and was very uncomfortable. The fridge was also extremely noisy (set on max when we arrived), but thankfully there is a switch in it to turn it off.
Next time I would probably spend more or choose a simpler but more modern hotel like a motel one.
