Mir hostel in Berlin

Horrible place!
Rude staff, who wouldn’t help and said that ‘the sheets are very old, so of cause it’s dirty’ in very hard-to-understand-German. They had a lot of signs around the place with corona-restrictions, but that had no soap in the bathrooms and the toilet was broken.
The doors was hard to open and close, and made a horrible noise when you in the end got to open it.

The worst hostel in Berlin, don't go quiet. Catastrophe 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
It's a very dirty place and full of gypsies. It is not clear who comes in and who leaves, the man who owns the hostel is dishonest

Cheap, for a reason.

Rooms are comfortable (nice beds, a kettle, and a fridge), but the neighbourhood's unsafe (I had my laptop, and phone stolen from my room, when I was in the shower, despite locking my door), the service is mediocre (staff only speak German, and Bulgarian, and are occasionally rude, and unhelpful), and cleaning is sporadic. Also had a power outage, today (19/02/2021), with no staff willing to rectify the issue.

I thought that this place would good, after a friend recommended it, and initially-positive first impressions, but in hindsight, I should have taken my money elsewhere, whilst looking for a place to stay, after losing my job, in the Corona pandemic.
