The Tiergarten Hotel is in a good location, about 15 minutes by car from Berlin Train Station. The rooms are large and well-equipped. The front desk clerks were very good and polite. The only drawback is that there is no water heater, so I can't eat instant noodles at night.

My experience at this hotel was not the best. One of the most frustrating things was that whenever I needed something, I had to go down to the service desk myself. This hotel was perfectly suited for attending an event nearby at the Berlin School of Law and Economics. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. I would stay there again for an event nearby.

This was such an incredible hotel to stay at, the staff was so friendly, everything was clean and well kept and the neighborhood that it is in is the best with so many wonderful eateries and everything within walking distance. One staff member could so visibly not care less it made us uncomfortable, while we tried to be as polite as possible. Luckily the others were very nice and helpful. There's a bus stop right in front, and the tram stop is a 10-minute walk away. However, it's located a bit outside the city, in the diplomatic district. The staff were friendly and polite. We enjoyed the breakfast; there was a wide variety of options, and everything was delicious.

Excellent budget option Fantastic for a budget hotel. Large comfortable room with a good sized-bathroom and powerful shower. The included breakfast was of a good quality, and a typical German-style spread. The hotel is situated a little way out of the city itself, but can be found in a quiet and pleasant area with excellent transport links.

At first I was really put off by this hotel. It had hostel vibes and the rooms were cramped and dingy. But the overall hotel had so much personality and the breakfast was terrific. The staff were very accommodating (extra pillows etc) and the area was quaint. I wouldn’t stay here again but I was not displeased.

Situated in the Neukölln neighbourhood of Berlin right next to a cemetery. The Hotel is slightly outdated, but really clean and tidy! Checking in was easy, the employee was very pleasant and kind. The elevator was clunky and the hallway to our room smelled nasty. Our room was clean and smelled fresh but the bed was too squishy and non supportive. The walls were thin, we could hear everything from the neighboring rooms. We will not stay here again.

This property was a great location for us as we were visiting friends who lived in the same street. We stayed in a nice quiet room facing the street. the room was clean and well presented but the bathroom was in need of an upgrade, mouldy walls above shower and shower plug was blocked and the bathroom had a sewage smell to it. Door was a little hard to unlock with key.

I like the hotel's balcony, which overlooks the children's playground downstairs, and I can hang clothes to dry in the evening. There are some supermarkets nearby, which is convenient, and it's relatively quiet at night. I recommend staying here; the price is quite reasonable.

This hotel came recommended by my now retired travel agent. Not as good as some of her previous recommendations. But still centrally located. Close to all types of trains. Surrounded by places to eat. Friendly staff. Good sized room. Provided a fan which was good given temperatures when i was there. It’s an old building but well maintained. Breakfast was very good

I travels to Berlin to see and meet Marilyn Manson. I’m disabled (legs, ms and travel with scooter. The hotel staff put a ramp for my whole visit. They have wheelchair elevator at the entrance. The staff is ready to help with anything and always with a smile. It’s clean, The breakfast was good, I enjoyed the hotel and it was close to the concert hall.

The hotel is well situated in a quiet area but walkable to the cetre of Berlin. Our bedroom was were large and comfortable and very quiet at night. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, with excellent English. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay !

Love this place! This hotel is so true to Kastanienallee, Prenzlauer Berg and Berlin. Love staying there! Just remember ear plugs for the early morning trams.

All good. Very cheap. 7 minutes from the subway. But there's a small cockroach in the toilet.

The room had no air conditioning, was very noisy, and all the furniture seemed to be at least 20 years old. The bathroom felt like a plastic oasis, and the shower barely had any water. The price was disproportionate to the room's amenities. I skipped breakfast, partly because of the additional charge. After the disappointing condition of the room, I was honestly glad I checked out.

It's clean enough and it is right next to the U8 line which will take you down to the main areas in Alexanderplatz. Local area maybe a little bit too outside of the city zone for some people.

I give 4 star due to its a 3 star hotel. But the location is near to Messe and hotel recept is professional in service, language and providing directions. Oh yes, its not beside to Tegel airport, but its makes its fun to travel on the Bahn. The rooms are spacious but no bath tub. Outdoot front garden terrance is a good place to sit down midnight to have a good drink purchase from the 24hrs liquor store...

A very pleasant hotel experience. I stayed for 18 nights, accompanying my daughter to take entrance exams for two top music conservatories in Berlin.
