Bad at handling cancellations or modifications to reservations

There was no one at the reception desk (once I found it) when I got there, but showed up very quickly. Spoke a little English and was polite but not overly friendly. There are plenty of shops and restaurants around but the would guess not the greatest area. Comfortable beds and relatively clean.

The hotel is located in a modern region which offers a number of restaurants, bars and cinema, also an indoor climbing center. However, the room amenities appear poor. There is no air conditioning in the room and it was hot inside. The fridge is inside a shelf and you cannot open the door. The bathroom had no light or I guess it did not work. The receptionist was no more there after 8pm and before...

We did not receive a very warm welcome and the reception is on first floor and the elevator was not operating after 6pm so had to carry bag up stairs.

A very lovely stay at the Meninger Alexanderplatz. We had a room for 4, convenient and clean, staff is super nice and helpful and the hostel is well located (metro station is really right in front of it). the room was clean, however the window didnt fully close so at night it'd get cooler than you'd expect. the path to the room required going up some steep stairs with a foul old smell. breakfast is 12 euros so didnt take it. its very close to a metro station which is one station away from the s bahn.

Cozy room but still too warm in summer

The hotel location is good but rooms are very small and very old. They offer very poor breakfast. Toilet flash tank in my room was broken and couldnt flash. instead i've been told to use waste bucket to pour water in. Generally the price and service is not value for money.

I don't have much experience with hotels, just as a disclaimer. I had a dog with me so I didn't have much choice. Check-in and out was easy, there was only one key to the room and my friend arrived early so we had to deposit the key at the counter. It was no problem to pick it up though. You need to take the lift to your room but it stops in between floors so you have to take one flight of stairs anyways...

The lady at the reception was very nice, and we were able to check in early. Unfortunately, breakfast could only be paid for in cash, but it was available the same day, so there was no need to book it in advance.

In West Berlin, there is an affordable hotel located on the third and fourth floors! It's a 5-minute walk to the Berlin S-Bahn station. Unfortunately, on the day of my visit, the elevator was broken! I had to climb up to the fourth floor with my luggage... Apart from that, everything else was good for the most part!

Stayed with our two kitties for a chill firework free new years, could not recommend more. Fireworks are prohibited in the property and they’re pet friendly. My daughter has stayed here twice at German camp. Very clean rooms and nice surroundings. It's set on a lake in the middle of a forest. Historically it's interesting too as this is where the old east German big wigs hung out.

For the price its fine, easy reach of Berlin city centre, but area is not good, didn't feel unsafe but not comfortable either. Rooms basic, no kettle, but was clean and quite. Check in, staff etc were fine.

I think the best thing about them is their location being close to Wedding S Bahn. The rooms are good and clean, although there is no fan or AC in the summer. There is also no wifi or breakfast included, so for the price of around 50-60euro per room, I think a lot of things can be improved.
