Very nice location and beautifully furnished. The receptionist was very friendly.

It is almost the worst 4-star hotel I have ever stayed. The room is extremely small. Apart from a 1.2m-sized bed, the room cannot even stand for a desk, so you have a platform by the head side of your bed to place staff (very creative).  They have a strict check-in time from 3 pm, and staff are not friendly enough to explain things. Moreover, the 150 Euro deposit fee was not mentioned anywhere.

This hotel is LGBT-friendly, and guests of all genders and ages are welcome to stay. The staff provide excellent service and give very helpful recommendations.

Not realised that it is a rainbow hotel until after we checked in. It is a bit out of city centre but there are many restaurants and shopping centre in the neighbourhood.

Had a good time, low season so not much happening in the hotel if you were interested in having some drinks at the bar. We tried breakfast, good choice and amount for the price. Jacuzzi was nice , the gym had enough machines to workout the minimum. All staff was nice and polite and very helpful. Definitely recommend .

This hotel is not worth the 4 star rating and it is pretty misleading. The breakfast isn’t great! Especially the Salmon tasted very bad. Rooms have old carpets giving it an old hotel vibe. The windows on the lower floors are basically on street level, and there’s no air conditioning, so you are stuck either suffocating, or being woken up multiple times per night by the buses from the bus stop that is quite literally right under your window. The breakfast is ok, but for the price, I don’t know. Will not be staying with Best Western again.

The hotel locates 15 minutes away from Berlin HBF by subway. Very convenient to attractions but relatively affordable than hotels around the hbf. This hotel locates in a nice bustling residential area. There are many shops and cafes nearby. Room is spacious and clean.

A hotel located centrally and a 10 minute walk from the Zoological Park. I've stayed a few times when in Berlin for work. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean albeit a touch dated in terms of decoration. They have everything you need in terms of safe, fridge, TV, Aircon, tea/coffee. The hotel is equivalent to a low end 3 star hotel. The location is very good in the heart of Berlin. The lift, rooms and the lobby is a bit dated, though it is not bad by any means. It's a fine place the location is great you have everything around such as transportation, central city center and many fancy shops and supermarket I recommend specially because of the location of the hotel.

Very nice independent hotel. Convenient location with a subway station and Straßenbahn stops right on your doorstep. Slept very well, although because it is on a busy intersection it can be quite loud at night.

The location is great, room was big and comfortable but no AC. TV not really satisfying most of it in German. Really an amazing place especially for the great people that works their. We couldn't go back home and they did everything to support us and let us feel at home as possible. Good location, good service, reasonable price, but the lighting in the room needs to be upgraded.

The hotel itself was really nice and the reception staff always polite. I found one or two of the breakfast staff a little rude at times. We found the room to be quite small with little space to put general things out. One thing that was missing was tea and coffee making facilities, I can’t remember when I was in a hotel without this. All in all, though, it was a comfortable stay.

There is a terrible terrible smell in the elevator. I’ve never experienced anything like it before. It smelled like an old and moldy dishrag. The drain in the shower didn’t work too well, so there was a big puddle in the shower shortly after starting it. Otherwise the location is good and the bed is comfortable.

Good choice in a great area of Berlin Stayed for one night and it was alright. Located in my favorite area in Berlin. Staff was helpful and room was clean and spaceous. The only minus is that there is a busy road next to the hotel, which was a bit noisy. While this didn't bother me, light sleepers might want to request a room that is not directly facing the road.

Staff was very kind and location is good. Curtains don't block out all the light so it is hard to sleep in. Hallways got noisy in the mornings with other guests and housekeeping staff. Decent value for the money.

Everything was fine. The hotel is fine for a three-day trip. However, breakfast hasn't been served since February. It was offered as an option for booking. It didn't bother us, but it should be rectified.

Overall we had a nice stay. Room and bathroom were nice, spacious and comfortable. Perfect if you enjoy staying in the Friedrichshain area. However, one of the receptionists’ lack of skills to communicate and the fact that rooms weren’t soundproof did decrease the overall experience.

Apartment room was good, well equiped and clean. The hotel was nice, the staff helpful and the food excellent. The only issue we had was the room was very warm overnight despite advertising rooms were air conditioned it was not available (told it is not switched on until it gets to a certain temperature).

One beautiful summer day we were exploring the provinces on a houseboat and we came across the idyllically located lake hotel restaurant. The view of the lake is a dream, but the price is more like a nightmare. For 25 euros I got a veal schnitzel that was more like dried meat - a real culinary adventure. But the friendly service and the beautiful ambience make up for a lot. The prices weren't too expensive...

The only complain I have is the AC. The AC broke during the entire stay. This is not acceptable for a four star hotel since it is quite hot in end of June for Germany. Other than that, the room is large and clean. The bed is comfortable. The location is also good with plenty of transport options.

Very nice room. I appreciate the disposable toothbrush. The floor is cold and no disposable slippers are included. The elevator is strangely tiny and complicates movement around the hotel.

Comfortable good sized rooms. Nice standard of decor. Bed was soft but comfortable. Lose one star for the tiny balcony facing the unappealing sight of the back car park, and the shower which was too hot. Otherwise, can't go wrong for £70 a night.

A very practical, clean and affordable hotel in an area that is partly blossoming and partly a crude industrial mix. The hotel is of course practical for visitors/family members of the Schlossparkklinik, into which you are "built", but also for trade fair visitors, for example. Nice location on the river, with simple comfy rooms and nice staff, specially the cook. I loved the gingertea with squeezed orange and ability to charge my hybrid.

The ambient was very cousy and visualy nice,as well as the hotel service. As someone who is not vegan, the vegan cousine was tasty and delicious. The summer terace offers a nice view on the river while sipping on a cup of quality coffe.

The best thing about this hotel is the position right at the river site where you can have your meals or just hang out. I was there for a conference and the rooms for it were ok, too. This place was really special. Daily yoga and meditation, beautiful restaurant, stunning views of the river and close to a big park. It's a little south of the city centre so it would suit anyone looking for a calmer, quiet experience of Berlin. All food is organic and vegan (with vegetarian options). Great weekend brunch too. I’ve stayed there for 1 week and it was a pleasure. I want to come back!! Staff is so young, and nice… food is amazing as well, vegetarian/vegan and 100% organic. Even we have the chance for going to meditation and to the sauna!
