4 star hotels in Berlin

On the whole zero complaints about the hotel itself. The complex is gigantic and much larger than expected, and as such, made finding reception quite difficult. The ‘front’ of the hotel is actually on the other side of the building than you’d expect - I.E. from the local tram stop, the entrance is on the opposite side than the one facing you. However, I’m unsure if we’ve arrived in an ‘offseason’...

The room was quite nice. The complex is huge, but the restaurant sells the ice cubes (???), guess is not part of the hotel. It is a lit bit far from the city, but the quality of the room and toilet was great. And comfy beds as well. AC working perfectly as was quite hot weather. Staff was professional and polite. Toiletries were quite good as well and we manage to have a great stay there.

Nice big rooms, our room had a bath shower, they don’t offer kettles on the room or coffee and teas. No ammenities except shower gel and handwash. Had a nice decent tv and chairs in the room too. Check in and hotel staff seemed like they didn’t care. 15-20mins away from the Berlin central

Decent hotel, basic enough but very tidy. The reception staff were very nice , Yanit, if spelt correct looked after us and was great to deal with. A little far out from the centre of Berlin but that’s not a major issue. Shop was very expensive. Worth a visit as decent value for money to stay in.

Just one stop away from the main train station, this Mercure is a bit older compared to others. It's decent, nothing outstanding but no major flaws either. The soundproofing in the rooms isn't great; it can be a bit noisy.

Busy hotel .. everything nearby Supermarket , attractive point , transportation all in walking distance. But there is only one bottle of sparkling water for one stay. Breakfast expensive. Overall value for money.

Very simple and simply furnished room, not necessarily in the style of a 4-star hotel, but spacious. The lobby and breakfast options were excellent; there's a pool table, foosball, and board games available.

The receptionist was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, there was a problem with our room because the drain did not work. I don’t understand how a hotel like this can allow such an issue, especially considering the high price. Breakfast was fine.

Nice hotel. Delicious breakfast. Decent room. I wasn't prepared for the fact that my windows overlook the hotel lobby. A view from the window is very important to me. But then I got used to it. The bartender, Matteo, is a very good professional.

Enjoyed my stay here. It's a little spare and small in the rooms but the breakfast (free) is fantastic and they'll store your bag for you if you arrive too early. It's a solid hotel , but not a 4-star. Rooms are clean. Reception is nice, beds are good but the bathroom design is just absurd. Random shower out in the open inside the room right next to beds.... Literally no privacy . Location is pretty good.

Well-located, close to the train station, 7 minutes to the U-Bahn. Clean and cozy. The shower in the room, behind a glass door, is quite noteworthy – it could be awkward if you're not a couple, but for me, it was more amusing than embarrassing. Overall, it's good, just a bit pricey, but then again, this is Berlin.

Conveniently located near the station. As it's a new facility, it felt very clean. It was a room for two, but it would have been more comfortable if it were a bit more spacious. It was great that the East Side Gallery was within walking distance, perfect for a stroll. However, I was surprised that the shower room had a glass door, making the inside completely visible from the room.

The iron place isn't suitable at all in the corridor near the elevator if it is in a room for it or they send it to your room as in other hotels will be more decent. Really really great hotel! Rooms immaculate, stylish and service impeccable. Hotel provides free baggage storage and area to wait on 6th floor including showers and space to get changed after you’ve checked out! Only downside would be that breakfast is on the expensive side however if you are travelling as a family under 15s are free.

We had a great stay at Steglitz International. The location is excellent—well connected to public transport, with plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. It was easy for us to get around Berlin from here. We didn’t opt for the breakfast, so we can’t comment on that, but overall, it was a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the city.

We had a two bedroom apartment with kitchenette. The apartment had character and was clean, however if you are planning on cooking, the kitchenette was very small with minimal implements. The latch to the window was broken, so we were very concerned about setting the smoke alarm off. It was very noisy during the night and the beds were very firm. The elevator broke while we were staying on the sixth floor. We asked for assistance with our large luggage and they refused. By sheer coincidence a cleaning lady saw us and helped on the last floor when we were checking out. Otherwise nice facility and good for a place with a group.

Short city break Clean, well located hotel. Main pool and spa were closed for refurbishment during our brief stay but wasn't reason for visit it was proximity to event we were attending at zitadelle.
