The hotel is easy to find and navigate to, the
free parking is a huge benefit.
Checkin went smooth, we were in our room within 10 minutes after parking so that was nice after a long drive there.
Our shower didn’t work so had to call reception, mechanic arrived and fixed this issue within 10 minutes, we were a bit impressed by how quick this was! Very nice.
Shower itself is godlike!!
The breakfast is very good. Plenty of choice and tasty.
There’s some reconstruction being done at the moment, so from both our room and the restaurant we were looking at white plastic curtain and scaffolding. Of course work needs to be done, but a bit of a shame we couldn’t enjoy any view.
The location is fine, we picked this location because of a concert very close to the hotel. The city centre is a bit further away. The hop on hop off buss stop and Underground are 500meters away so everything is still easy to get to.
There’s one major thing that really bothered us, and that was the quality of the pillows. The bed was fine, but the pillows were so insanely soft and thin, that it felt like they were non existent. Even with extra pillows it was just not doable. We woke up tired every morning because we couldn’t get a good night sleep.
Complaining while being there is a bit of a big deal to us, not something we do easily, especially because we could not see this issue coming back in other reviews. Maybe we were just unlucky with our room, who knows.. but for us is was the big dealbreaker that made us leave a day earlier.
Service is average, they have only sparkling water that they keep in the rooms!
they have free car parking facilities which makes it attractive and the location where in 50meters there is a great Street of Shops, Restaurants, Malls etc
Only downside: the bathroom had no door, which was awkward since I was staying with friends. The breakfast buffet was €25 — a bit pricey but had a lot of variety. Laundry service was outrageous at €4.50 per pair of underwear.
Overall, a great stay if you're okay with an open-concept bathroom and skip the laundry.
