We stayed in one of their more exclusive suites and were truly surprised how beautiful and luxurious it was. The location couldn't be better, adjacent to Europa center and Kurfürstendamm. We had a bit of bad luck with the room, with a broken window, sink and Jacuzzi, but everything was very quickly repaired or compensated. They have an indoor swimming pool, which is very pleasant if you come in the cold seasons.
We went to one of the restaurants, beef 45, which was a bit pricey but delicious. Every day you will find a new discount coupon on your bed pillow after turn down service. We discovered one for beef 45 right after we had already eaten there, but they accommodated us and gave us the discount retroactively.
The one unsatisfactory exception was the lounge. The opening hours are generous but the food, which they called "finger food", was for the most part hugely disappointing. The lovely service helped to compensate. (I would like to mention that this did not apply to the breakfast, which was varied and delicious.)
In all, I can heartily recommend this hotel.

Exceptional, perfect for a romantic trip. We stayed in the Business Premium Deluxe Room during Christmas, and it was large, extremely comfortable!
The service was very good, especially the standards of cleaning, the spa, and the breakfast team.

Arrived home from a four night stay here with my mum, first time in Berlin visiting the Christmas markets. Hotel is great in a good location, staff seemed friendly and helpful. Breakfast was HUGE, so much variety's, spa was nice, maybe a little outdated. Nothing to fault here.

Wonderful hotel, room was really big and bed very comfortable and lots of lovely Rituals toiletries in the bathroom.
We had a bottle of fizz and cake left in the room to celebrate my husbands birthday. The staff were very polite and helpful.
The buffet breakfast was great and set you up for the day. We had dinner in Beef 45 in the hotel and that was amazing too.
I would definitely stay again as its near lots of transport hubs to get around the city.

I was in town for the marathon and enjoyed the location, which was perfect. Staff ranged from very friendly and helpful to quite gruff. Room service - both food and staff - was very good. Breakfast was good, about average for this class of hotel in a major city. Would have no issue staying here again.

This is my second time staying at Hotel Palace Berlin & I absolutely love it! The staff are accommodating and friendly and the breakfast buffet is over the top fantastic!

I cannot recommend this hotel despite its convenient location and good breakfasts. During my stay in Berlin, my travel companion suddenly became seriously ill, and I made the difficult decision to cut our trip short because of her health. Unfortunately, I felt completely misled by the Front Desk Manager. He assured me that he understood the urgency of my situation and explained that if I had booked directly through the hotel, they would have refunded the remaining night. However, since I booked through Booking.com, he claimed there was nothing he could do and that it was entirely up to Booking. To my surprise, Booking.com told me the exact opposite — that it was entirely up to the hotel, and the hotel refused to issue any refund.
I even suggested an alternative: to reschedule my unused night for another visit to Berlin and pay for an additional night or more, but the hotel declined this as well. To make matters worse, they still charged the full city tax for all nights, including the one I never stayed.
I found this very disappointing — the inconsistent communication, the lack of flexibility, and the refusal to show understanding in an unforeseen health emergency. In the end, it became clear that the responsibility lay solely with the hotel, not Booking.com who tried to negotiate it on my behalf with hotel, yet they chose to deny any form of customer service or goodwill.
Big disappointment, and I cannot recommend this hotel.

I started the army in Berlin back in the 80s before the wall fell and we like to come back every two years. Every time I stay at this hotel and every time it never disappoints. The location cannot be beat. The staff the accommodations all top-notch.
