Older style Pension(Hotel?) Kind od tired looking. The Restaurant however has wonderful food and service

Our GPS got confused with the address provided by ******* which resulted in unnecessary driving as actual address is in small hamlet near the main town of Radeberg. However once settled our stay was good with the food served at this Restaurant absolutely excellent

Mediocre room, but breakfast with large variety Müllers Gasthof is easily reachable and close to where our relatives live. It features a wonderful breakfast with great variety. However, the room didn't smell fresh, and the beds were not very comfortable. There wasn't really a room service and no sign that one could request one. The trashcans were emptied one evening when we returned, but nothing else...

Very good hotel on our way from Balaton, Hungary to Travemünde where our ferry leaves to Finland. Great service and they even spoke Englis well 🙏 If you have older dogs wth some leg problems, then the stairs to accommodation facilities might be too much. And I recommend eating at the hotel; very tasty food! Vielen danke!

We were there for a birthday party and were very impressed. food was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. A dish was conjured up especially for my son. And asked if he still needed this or that. gladly come back :)

This was our 11th stay at the City Pension, and we always enjoy returning, even though the facilities aren't the most modern. The friendliness of the staff, the perfect location, the secure parking, the reasonable price, and the very comfortable beds more than make up for any minor shortcomings. The guesthouse is very centrally located and easily accessible by public transport. The rooms and the house have an "old" charm, but are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent...all of this, combined with the price, is an unbeatable combination.

Bad beds and old standard, but still cozy.

It's close to the Berlin bus terminal, about a 20-minute walk. There's no desk, but it's convenient, and you can check in and out at the hotel right next door. The rooms are basic, but clean and tidy. There's no elevator. It feels a bit larger than I expected, but European hotels tend to be a bit smaller...

While planning a mere overnight stay, the dinner was well above our expectations. Even though we were traveling from French Riviera, the meal we got here was by far the best for all the trip. It is worth to stay here just for the excellent cuisine.

We spent three nights in the family room last weekend. Our oldest son loved it; it had a bunk bed and a playroom. So, they thought of our little one too. The people were incredibly sweet and hospitable, highly recommended. We'll definitely be back!

I stayed at this hotel/guesthouse for two weeks with my three children and dog. It was recently taken over by a Dutch couple who are doing a great job sprucing things up. The staff was very friendly and accommodated to our requests for bringing along a dog. Everything was clean and the hotel is very close to the park.

We are four motorcyclists of a certain age, gradually exploring the German low mountain ranges. This time, we chose the Harz Mountains. We opted for "Gelpkes Mühle" as our base, a good choice indeed, a very good one, as it turned out. My friend and I had a wonderful stay here. The bathrooms and rooms were spotless and nice, much better than we got at similar rates in other guest houses I the region. The amenities were top notch and the staff very helpful through our stay when we came down sick and had to extend our stay a few nights they did everything they could to make us comfortable.

The biggest advantage is that the hotel bathroom window opens wide. It is not far from tourist attractions such as the Wittenberg Castle Church, and is an overall decent hotel. When using the parking lot, it is very inconvenient to push and pull the heavy, sooty iron bar and lock it.

I am in the middle of my stay at this hotel-pension, and I have been favorably impressed with everything so far. The rooms are spotless, plenty of hot water in the showers, decent beds, and in a quiet area of town. It’s a family operated hotel that makes a person feel comfortable with staying there. Nothing fancy as in big city chain hotels, but exactly what I wanted.

Lovely little place to stay when you are visiting Wittenberg. Close to the centre of town, yet very quit and peacefull. The only downsides are no balconies nor parking spaces. Parking in town is cheap, though.

I emailed for dinner reservation and they were quick to respond, they even saved us the corner booth! It was good meal and reasonably priced. We speak very little german and the staff spoke little english, but were very helpful and patient with helping us.

The host was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed having an adjoining room. The hotel was centrally located and would be a great choice for those exploring the parks.

We felt very comfortable here for 4 nights. We can only endorse the predominantly positive recessions. We are both disabled, got a room on the ground floor and could park the car right in front of the front door. Bed was very comfortable and breakfast was perfect, thank you!

A warm, kind, and enthusiastic welcome from the front desk when we arrived around 9pm. Rooms are spotless. Breakfast is European perfect. A wide selection without running to an overwhelming excess. Breakfast area is light and bright with huge windows. Outside courtyard looks inviting. Easy on-site parking.

I spent a week for a business trip. It is pretty close the island. The breakfast is delicious and the rooms are comfy. You have to pay extra fee for a parking slot per day.

Room look fresh and modern. Short walk from the lake and town. Breakfast was excellent. Good offering of sweets, cold and hot food.

Equidistant walking from the upper train station to the island. Modern facility and fixtures. No AC and limited fans. We found ourselves having to be assertive to get average services. Once assertively prompted and dismissing their initial excuses, they did provide the services. An example would be laundry. Think more one or two star, not true three star experience. Would not stay again.

Fantastic place, walking distance to the island with jogging path along the lake. I called to say that we arrive late and the lady at the reception was extremely outgoing, friendly, helpful. She booked us a restaurant where we could eat late in the evening. On the checkout day we could leave the car without extra cost for 2 hours longer just to explore the island. That was a nice bonus! The place is nice, for young people especially, with kitchen, next to S-Station. The price is fair. A pity I was not confident enough to sleep with open windows, which does not open on the top. Not freshly clean is the real negative point, although the sheets seemed to be clean the pillow and the blanket would need a nice refresh, and the smell of the room was not agreeable.

You get what you pay for regarding quality. However, safe, clean, nice staff, easy check in and check out. Would definitely stay again if needed an early flight.

Staff was courteous. The only thing is that this Hotel does not have someone in the reception, there is no reception. So it was frustrating for me and I came back to book more nights and it was closed.

Go to "LeFood" and "laBandida" and the Coffee Shop North Coffee just in front of it. Watch your steps though... tricky. It was a perfect room at the back of the building with perfect curtains and noise isolation.

I liked the room I like the area I like the price of the room The only thing was my room was on the 5th floor and it was quite a walk up the stairs and also sometimes I couldn't see It would be too dark during the evening.. the lights wouldn't come on and I almost tripped a few times on the stairs and steps..thank God I didn't fall... Everything was clean and efficient. The staff knew what they were doing and did everything effectively and courteously.

Nice place, clean, top superspeed WiFi, comfort bed and toilet, just noisy, very noisy because hotel employers (cleaners??) Shouted and made rumors in the early morning so I was waked up by them the two mornings I was there. For the rest really suggested. Very close to tram stop, receptionists very kind and guests oriented, good place for breakfasts they suggested me!!

Unfortunately, there is no Breakfast although it is mentioned whether the display. The fridge was a bit dirty and the Parking you have to search in the area. Otherwise it was ok.

Affordable hotel convenient for exploring Berlin, just steps from the shopping district and close to the metro. The room isn't exceptional, but it has everything you need, and the breakfast is just right for the day. The only downside is the smell of cooking in the common areas.

I was looking for two affordable single rooms including breakfast in Berlin. Since the cheapest options I found were all hostel rooms with shared rooms and bathrooms, that wasn't an option for me. This hotel was then immediately offered as the cheapest: €82 for two rooms including breakfast, which I could hardly believe. Ultimately, it's clear that you can't expect luxury accommodation at that price...

Very tasty local food and a great selection of beer. There were a lot of people because there was a huge fair at the same time, so everything took a bit longer but they really did their best and the service was still great!

A simple, very well-run guesthouse with good transport links. The room was very clean, although the furnishings and bathroom were a bit dated. A sufficiently good breakfast was offered at a low price. The service was perfect.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The place is really central, homy and clean, the staff sweet and accommodating. The building is beautiful and classy as well. The only thing is that the accoustics of the hotel aren't the best indeed, you can hear people's voices and the floors creaking. Also the wifi connection is not perfect.

We spent a weekend here and were totally enchanted by the beautiful surrounding, the mountains, early autumnal colors and charming village. The hotel itself gives a beautiful view of the valleys. From here various walks can be made, whilst the little village itself gives the possibility for short walks with young children. We were also able to have our breakfast and dinners here, which altogether...

Really nice personal and great service, good rooms and fine hotel. Amazing location with beautiful natur all around and hilly terrain. The also offer a good breakfast. The hotel are dog friend so yout four legged friend are when welcome. Options for parking a van or trailer is also possible.

Great spot for local walks. Lot of interesting paths starting in the village. Very friendly and helpful owners. Very quiet and Hotel service for campers! Dogs allowed. No amenities, but ask the owners if you need anything.

We got the bridal-suite instead of the regular room, which made our stay very enjoyable. Very nice decorated, clean and proper. We even got a garage for our motorcycles to store. Breakfast was very good, with good coffee and fresh fruits. After a long ride in the Sauerland area, we could relax at the hotel-terrace with big glasses of German Weissbeer. :-)

I stayed at the Old Town Pension in March 2024 for business and was very satisfied overall. The rooms are furnished as described, clean, and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The only downside was that the neighbors were sometimes a bit noisy. Nevertheless, I would recommend this accommodation!

The pension is a very cheap and centrally located accommodation. The family apartment even exceeded our expectations. There is a lot of space and everything is clean and tidy. We particularly liked the surroundings. There are many restaurants, cafes and shops within a few minutes' walk. We would come back any time!

The staff very nice and accommodating. The room was clean and perfectly adequate for two people. Since the house is an old building, it is extremely noisy. You can hear every person in the hallway as if they were standing in the room.

We stayed at this hotel for three days in September 2022. We don't have any special requirements for a hotel. As long as it's a comfortable bed and clean, it's fine for us. We're visiting a city, not a hotel. This hotel is authentically old. The flat-screen TV (and Wi-Fi channels) have been there since 1930, and everything else feels like it's from that era. Excellent place to stay in the middle of a very posh area. Great shopping surrounds you if you have the wallet to support the costs you would incur. Great Lebanese restaurant across the street. Would stay here again with the comfortable rooms with en suite bathroom. It may not be the most up to date but it represents a part of older Berlin.

The surrounding environment was nice, but the room amenities were very basic. I had communicated with Ctrip beforehand that it would be €20 per night for a child, but they wanted to charge €30 per child upon check-out – speechless 😓 Ctrip refunded the difference.

This is a wonderful little hotel run by lovely, friendly people. We really enjoyed our two nights here. It is spotlessly clean. There is a beautiful, relaxed feeling. It is set in a superb location in the Schwarzwald with lots of scenic drives nearby. The meals are delicious and so is the beer. We highly recommend this property.

Hotel Gasthof Grüner Wald is located in a major road Johann-Philipp-Schleicher-Str. 2 In Hofheim Wallau, Hessen. Nearby is the bus stop Line 262 to Wiesbaden Kurpark via Autobahn in about 30 minutes. Friendly and welcoming staff. Last minute booking and key made accessible on arrival as no manned reception at night. Free parking at property and on street available. Excellent buffet continental breakfast including tea, coffee and various fruit juices.

Our choice to stay here for a one night stay was based on proximity to the friends we were visiting. When we arrived we were very favourably impressed by the room quality and cleanliness. Good choice at breakfast, which was in typical guest house style. Especially liked the yummy fresh brown rolls!

A very nice, well-maintained hotel with a very friendly welcome and service. The location is perfect for a city trip, 5 minutes from the main train station and 10 minutes from the old town...the Technik Museum is also within walking distance, about 25 minutes away. The bed was comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. I'd love to come back...👍
