It had everything you would expect from a hotel room. Overall, I highly recommend it. I should also mention that it is located in the city center, with access to all attractions and shops on foot or by train

What a fantastic find! Maison Marsil was everything we could have wanted (and more) for our long weekend in Cologne. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect stay

I stayed at Maison Marsil for my New Year's holiday. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room C2 was spacious, with three large windows overlooking the street in front of the hotel

Mountain chalet style apartment near the center of Cologne. Very comfortable beds, smart TV with Netflix, kitchen equipped with toaster and microwave, many electrical outlets. Very courteous and professional staff

Great location in the city center, affordable transportation. Rooms: each room with its own history is conveyed by the color of a wonderful city

The room is very unique. The kitchen is fully equipped. The heater is warm.

Great stay Had a great stay with Mycologne. Delighted to be able to have four beds in one room and so all the family had a bed to themselves. Indeed, they were lovely big rooms with kitchenette

Kitchen was fully stocked Beds comfortable and room was like vintage German. We love our stay party of 6 . Very reasonable in price. Only downfall was parking but that’s Germany .

The rooms are very safe with single beds on the ground (not station beds to climb up). Bathroom shower is big and good. Best place to stay in Cologne Central for little money

The location is perfect, only few minutes walk from the central station. The staff was also nice and friendly, enough support. And there is dryer available, which was nice

It's a normal hostel. All you need is a shower and a place to sleep.

Even with the padlock, it could be open easily so I did not use the locker. It seemed there is not enough number of lockers available compared to the number of the rooms and beds, at least lockers that are not broken

The sound of closing the door was so loud and the door seemed half broken. Also we could hear people talking in the corridor. The shower and toilet were also outside the room and they smelled so bad

Breakfast is not included, but there are enough bakeries and supermarkets close by to buy this. The pension is very near train stations and the city center

The pension is right in the center of the city. In 10 min you re at the cathedral, lots of really nice restaurants are reachable on foot and many clubs are at 1 station in S Bahn

The reception staff were friendly, and the bedroom itself was clean and big. However we were in room 7 which was up 4 flights of stairs, which we didn't expect! The bed was very comfy and the bathroom small, but clean

The common bathroom is clean; the room is quite big and pretty cute. One drawback would be the very bad wifi

A con is that the pension is located in a street with a busy nightlife and bright lights, but this can easily be solved by wearing earplugs and a sleepmask, if necessary

The room was tiny and a bit expensive but we didn't find anything better. The bed was comfy, the place was clean and we had clean towels regularly. The Central station is 10 mins away

Stayed in a private two bed with my boyfriend. We were surprised by the amount of space! The room was clean and very nice and the staff were also friendly.

The Street is calm, but the building doesnt have an elevator and our room's Windows was really close to the apartament next to it. Really nice Kitchen, fridge actually froze some stuff in it!

Single room was decent size, the bathroom was pretty small though. Reception was sort of weird it's in an open courtyard in the middle of the building

Small clean room, quite well equipped with tiny kitchenette & TV. Nice bathroom. Just needs side lamps and some coffee /tea.

Also there are Sbahn and Ubahn stations nearby that makes the place easily accessible at any hour of the day

It's in the city center (pro and con) so if you open the window it can be noisy (restaurant, motorcycle, police - windows have a good noise cancelling

Very central location - comfy beds - good breakfast! Ideal if you want to rest or party! Everything is close by - highly recommended

Very good! Well located hostel, close to mayor shopping streets and a few minutes walking to the DOM. Breakfast was great and was included in the room price. Glad for choosing Hostel Köln to stay in Cologne!

Our 9th grade class had a wonderful stay at the Cologne Hostel. Thank you so much! The staff were all exceptionally friendly. Arrival and departure went smoothly

You don't even have to bring your own locks for the spacious lockers. Toilet and bath were clean and not crampy unlike other hostels. They serve good breakfast as well. There is a cafe/bar on the ground floor, too

provide free coffee and tea, also free ginger shot many bathrooms, which is super nice hair dryers are also provided

If you're passing through Colonia, this is a good accommodation option. About 20 minutes from the central station, this hostel has all the necessary amenities

Such a great spot would heavily recommend. The rooms were so comfortable and the beds where way bigger than any other hostel Ive stayed in. The bar downstairs is lovely and the whole area around it was great

Friendly staff, inexpensive cozy rooms in a good location near the city center. Breakfast buffet was decent as well. A nice place for a weekend stay with good quality/price ratio.

Self-service entry, excellent central location, neat simple room and bathroom. Beware: no lift, narrow stairs to the rooms, in my case 60 steps up.

Friendly staff and daily cleaning. Hot water and heating is good. Location is pretty good close to the center. However the pillows are very old and not so comfortable. Wifi is pretty bad with interruptions

Good hotel option close to the central station by walking (15min). It was 3 days there just to see a concert in the city, it fits perfectly

So cool there are an arcade and Nintendo games in the common space. You can have free tea and coffee in the kitchen, though some kinds of coffee charge €0,50

A bathroom for every room that also had a shower in it. Working keys and enough keys for everyone. Pretty much what you would want a place like this to have and a little bit more for a pretty good price

Stood for 2 nights on a room with 4 beds and was really good. The room and toilet is very clean, comfortable beds and well organized

Very nice place to stay! An Owner is really kind, there were no problems with storing our suitcases before checkin time, rooms are clean, the location is really good and price is really fine! Honestly, one of the best hostel in Köln

Cologne is a very walkable city, and the Penny Pincher Inn is situated in an excellent location only minutes away from the train station, restaurants and grocery stores, the Rhine riverfront, and the Deutzer Bridge to old town

There is also a nice and relatively large space y the reception for socializing, playing some games and cook something. definitely recommend this hostel
