The location is good as it is near the central train station. Easy accessible to all areas.   Overall hotel is clean and comfortable. Bathroom is equipped with heater except the light keep flickering even after repair.

The place was very centrally located, near the Central Train station and Cologne Cathedral. The place is clean but the amenities and building are outdated. Worth the price though.

Very happy to stay here, location is perfect, few min walk to station and city centre, total unexpected the room with space, clear and comfortable, breakfast is super good and staff is friendly and helpful, I will be back

For late check-in, you need to contact the hotel in advance to get the access code and key. The room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The hot water was okay, but it would be better if it were a bit hotter

The bed and pillow are quite comfy to sleep in. Hotel staff are helpful and cheery. They will provide assistance when requested. There is a small lift to access the upper floor (stops at level 4)

Rooms are small but the furnitures are new and modern. The location is perfect, in the heart of Cologne. The staff is very helpful and quality of breakfast is great with a lot of options

The location of the Sion Hotel is great, right near the Heumarkt and the cathedral. Nice staff, good breakfast buffet. The double rooms and bathrooms are a bit small, but you don't spend too long in the hotel

In additon, you get tickets to taste the Sion beer at the pub just around the corner. I will definetely come back to this hotel in my future travels to Cologne

I visited this hotel with my girlfriend for a 2-day trip to Cologne. We were welcomed positively at the reception and led to our hotel room fairly quickly. The room looked good and tidy

Parking was possible in the parking garage at the Heumarkt

The hygiene was top in the entire room, with the bathroom being compact but tidy. The only downside was that the bathroom made a noise when the light was on

Me and my son had a very comfortable stay during a visit for the Christmas markets. Location wise was very convenient to access the central parts of the city, either by foot or by tram

The only thing I wish they had was more rooms with full bathrooms, but they are limited due to the building. The room that doesn't have a private toilet still has a show and is very nice

The room had shower and sink facilities. However the toilet was on a different floor. Whilst not the end of the world, it was tricky to go to the loo with a toddler! Beds were super cosy, and we both slept very well

You walk directly from the bathroom onto the balcony. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much, even though breakfast is quite expensive

3 days 2 nights trip to Cologne with a friend. Not in the town centre, but if you don’t mind a little extra walk compared to expensive hotel in town centre, you should be fine. Be mindful if you bring loads of luggage

Everything was great. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and beautifully decorated.

Sure, the hotel is a bit old and the rooms have standard moquettes and old showers, but rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. There's no AC or fridge in most rooms unless you book the Comfort triple

But, if you visit during colder days or during the winter for a few nights, it's not bad. Rooms are clean, despite the reviews I was surprised to find clean rooms and good smell

There was a fan which operated all night and the window was wide open - noise was less of a problem than heat. The hotel was well located near the Central Station, which was important as we were travelling by train

Hot night in Koln It was very hot during our stay in Koln - over 38C. There was no air-conditioning and no lift. so getting up the stairs to the unit was a challenge

The location is very walkable at night and you can explore every corner and the night walk to the Rhine River is beautiful, with live music in the park

Strange thing is that hotel offers you apartments not just rooms, which are located so far away from the embankment.

Location is nice, right near the riverbed. Room is clean, bed also clean and comfortable as well.

Location was idea, beds very comfortable and lots of space. Location was perfect for a city break. However the shower temperature was temperamental and the towels were as rough as sandpaper.

If you don’t know Cologne, trust me - this is a place to be! Incredible advantage is spacious lounge/common rooms (playrooms, they are called) that served me perfectly for work meetings. The hotel itself is a bit weary

For the price and space, definitely one of the better 3-star rated hotels. No elevator from ground floor to reception on first floor. There is an elevator from the reception up to rooms at least

He would always look extremely angry and shout things, when collecting the dishes he would throw them in the basket like they personally offended him, made a lot of noise, as a child from a very strict family I didn't appreciate this at all

The hotel is in a great location for bars and restaurants. Brauhaus Paeffgen (a favourite) is minutes away. The Dom and Hbf are a 15-20 minute walk away

Hidden in plain sight is this unexpected gem of a hotel. Located on the other side of the Rhine, near the beautiful Deutzer Brücke. Next to tram 7 that takes you straight to Dom and city center in 5 minutes

What surprised us too, was the silence at night in the hotel, it is so quiet - even with kermis/funfair happening during our stay in front of hotel!) that our earplugs stayed in our suitcase ;-) If you are looking for a personal-style hotel, quiet, conveniently located, comfortable and friendly, this is your place to be

The facade of the hotel already looks nice, and it absolutely keeps its promises. Both receptionists I met were very nice and helpful. I loved that one has to ring the doorbell to be let in as it made me feel safe

I was lucky to have gotten a room on the top floor because I had access to a shared but private balcony that was perfect for sunrises and sunsets. It also wasn’t hot as I had expected on the top floor

The location so close to the main train station is absolutely perfect, and it still is calm enough to get a good night's sleep. The bathroom is extremely small, even for me as a very short person

My room and bathroom were absolutely spotless. A hairdryer, tissues and even slippers were provided in the room, it had a desk, chair, and even a nice, second chair to relax
