Very close to the city Centre and able to walk around and get back to hotel fast. Enjoyed the ease of accessible accommodation

Location is good. However the room is small especially the single bed. Is good for those just staying for 1N. Near to attractions, restautants/cafes/, shopping area.

Not suitable with kids the place is gud near station and cathedral but the hotel in it is to dirty ,no aircon or electric fan,no ref.

Good affordable hotel about a fifteen minute walk from the center of Cologne. There is no elevator to that hasn't been a problem for me. Breakfast is simple but tasty

Stayed recently in this hotel and everything was great. The staff were very friendly and the room was always clean. The breakfast exceeded our expectations since this is a budget friendly hotel

Breakfast was fresh bread every day, meats and cheeses, fresh fruit and decent cappuccino. Yi and Lena were as hospitable and accommodating hosts as can be imagined. I requested a fan and received one immediately

Good for startup founders who just want to stay overnight, good location, REWE direct opposite. If you close the windows, it won't be too loud. Kitchen, bath, toilette, all clean

The hostel is very affordable, so you can expect it to be minimalistic and if you are a light sleeper you should bring earplugs due to the close tramline

Recommended for guys and lads travelling, startup founders. Not recommended for family, group of women with high demand in service and parfume

It was a nice hostel generally, enjoyed the stay there, there is a kitchen with a common space. However it could have been cleaner, there were some crumbs on the floor in the private room when we arrived

If you want to sleep around 10 o'clock, you hear a lot of noise from the main train station - but I guess that's the price you pay, if you want to take a Hotel that is centrally located

The hotel is right next to Cologne Central Station; you step out and it's there. From the room, you can see Cologne Cathedral, allowing you to fully experience Cologne day and night

Hotel was clean and tidy, staff was helpful. Location is perfect (old city + central station with 24h grocery store). Carnaval was fun too🥳

If you don’t know Cologne, trust me - this is a place to be! Incredible advantage is spacious lounge/common rooms (playrooms, they are called) that served me perfectly for work meetings. The hotel itself is a bit weary

It doesn’t bother me too much but you can see that the bathroom hasn’t been renovated for a while (tap was spraying everywhere and toilet only had one type of flush), also some common areas are crying for a refresh

It’s my second Tante Alma stay and first in this location. I appreciate the elaborate concept and its consistency across all their houses. It might not be everybody’s cup of tea but it works for me

The hotel is situated at around 5 minute walk from the Train Station. We arrived the hotel by a late ICE train at night, there is no problem regarding safety or ease of access

The reception is 24 hours manned, and has a self-service drink kiosk which you find rare to be free on European budget hotel chains. Overall lovely staff and big hotel

Note this hotel has only stair access, but to be fair for the price we paid for it is totally acceptable

It's very affordable, and the location is convenient — only an 8-minute walk to Cologne Cathedral.

During exhibition periods, the room rates are very high, and the facilities don't match the price. However, it's fairly clean, and you can get free water, tea, and coffee downstairs. Luggage storage is also available

Another thing to note: if you want your room cleaned (or even just the trash emptied), you need to specifically request it at the front desk. The breakfasts are delicious (you can order an omelet with any additions)

It's very close to Central Station and Cologne Cathedral. There's also a Chinese restaurant downstairs. The room was nice, with a tub and separate shower and toilet. The staff were also very kind and welcoming.

I knew beforehand from reviews that one of the buildings doesn't have an elevator, so the steep stairs might be an issue for some

A lovely little hotel in a medieval style. The rooms are perfectly adequate for a weekend stay or an overnight trip. A big plus is the excellent breakfast buffet, which starts as early as 6:30 AM

Nice hotel - we had a double room which came with a view of the cathedral. The bed wasn't a double but two singles pushed together, which was fine. Beds were very soft, pillows were poor (very very thin)

It's not a fancy shamancy hotel, but the location is wonderful, really close to the Central Station. The rooms are big, breakfast is regular European breakfast

Stayed for a few nights in August. Amazing location right next to the Rhine and many restaurants and activities. A few minutes walk to the cathedral and shopping streets. Bathroom and bath were outstanding

We had a very pleasant stay. The proximity to everything, the cleanliness and style of the rooms were excellent. The only downside was that the rooms were a bit gloomy in terms of design.

It was good to stay here, everything was good, location was okay, close the transportation, but one problem was there is no elevator. I recommend to stay here.

Super The gentleman who welcomed us at the reception was very polite and helpful. Everything was under control and went smoothly. We were very pleased.

the underground train station is just a few minutes walk and just 1 station away to the main station. A restaurant is directly below the building as well as in and around the area

The hotel is in a really nice location, everything is clean and proper and you're surrounded by food options while still being calm and cozy at night

there is no airco or fans though so if your stay is in the middle of a heatwave you will be uncomfortable

The station was just a one-minute walk away, which was super convenient! The next station to the nearest station was Köln Central Station, so I had no trouble getting anywhere.

We had a fridge in the room, the rooms were very clean and honestly that was probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. It was the best sleep I've had my trip so far

There's a large supermarket nearby, which is convenient. The underground parking lot is easily accessible. While parking is paid, you can get a small discount if you pay at the hotel

In our in and outs of the day and evening we must have met everyone who worked here and we were greeted, asked if everything was okay. The rooms were clean, clean, clean. And the location can't be beat

Excellent hotel in Friesenplatz. Bustling street just 50 metres away with lots of cafes and restaurants. Hotel itself is super clean and modern and has excellent rooms. Breakfast is superb as well.

Very clean and comfortable room which was close to old town and the Dom. the only downside are the easily-tripped fire alarms. And the fact the room tended to get a little warm without the window open.

I’m a female solo traveller so feeling safe is a top priority for me. This hotel was perfect, it was close to the U-Bahn (about 7 minute walk)

The room was spacious, clean and it included a kitchenette, lounge with TV, double bed and modern bathroom

The kitchenette had plenty of amenities (microwave, fridge, kettle, hob, cutlery, plates and bowls, cooking equipment (pans, sieve etc)

You also have the use of the coffee machine downstairs in the lobby (self service) which was great! I was nearly put off by some of the negative reviews on here but I was pleasantly surprised

Location: a short walk to city centre. It is convenient but not in crowded city centre. Room: modern and big apartment. It equips with everything we need. The water pressure for the shower is not that strong

The maid and the young guy at the reception are so kind with their great service mind but the rest are un-helpful. We book the family room but our building (4) has no lift. We have to carry our big bag down the stair.
