I stayed here whilst on business in Zickau. The staff here are all friendly. The check in and out was quick and efficient. The room was clean and there was plenty of options for breakfast. The location is just a few minutes walk from the main restaurant area and also the park.

We booked the Tuchmacher for the second time because it's close to the old town and has a historic ambiance itself. The breakfast is excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking is a bit inconvenient, but you can eventually park your car safely.

Have been visiting before and like this hotel

The room was big and nice but the shower was a problem as it wets the whole bathroom, making it a mess. It is conveniently located near the train station and a small mall.

Although the hotel felt old overall, it wasn't a problem for a one-night stay. There was dust and mold on the windowsill, so I wish they'd cleaned it more thoroughly. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, but the restaurant staff at the hotel where I had dinner were rude and the food was subpar.

The Hotel is situated outside the city centre but perfectly connected to public transport. It feels safe and is very clean. Staff are friendly. Downsides for us: bathtub/shower very slippery, shower curtain sticks to everything and the water temperature fluctuates. Would still recommend and we will be back.

There's paid parking behind a barrier, and free street parking is available nearby. A kettle is available in the room. Reception is open until late. It's a convenient option for travelers with a car. It's not very close to the center, but there's a public transportation stop nearby. There are also places to dine nearby, including an Aldi.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of Dresden. The reception staff, room and bar were fine. Had breakfast at the hotel which was ok but limited choice. It's a 30 minute tram ride into the centre of Dresden & the tram stop is 200 metres from the hotel, or it's a 20 minute taxi ride.

Great value for money, good option in Chemnitz. You need a car to get anywhere from here, and at night there may not be sufficient parking available. But overall good stay!

It's too expensive for what they are offering

Easy to find, parking in back yard or basement garage available, but not free. Very clean, great 24/7 reception service, housekeepimg great, everything superclean, pool (next to garage) use for free, towels for free available, suites are big enough. One Senator suite, was occupied, could not take a peak.

Rooms, pool and amenities were excellent. Service at the snackbar was Falty-Towers level: not getting the order right several times, endless waiting for a menu and dishes brought to the wrong table. But the food was okay.

It was a nice and pleasant experience

Hotel doesn’t have AC and the church bells ring every 15 minutes for 5 minutes sometimes longer. Overall okay hotel but tough to sleep with open windows and extremely loud church bells in the early morning hours.

Stay here for work quite often. Have always had a pleasant stay. The Hotel isn't always busy so breakfast might sometimes be limited.

A very romantic hotel.. All the employees were very kind. The rooms are spacious, clean. You get a key like from the Middle Ages, to really feel like you are in a castle. The breakfast is excellent. The surroundings with the gardens are beautiful. We really enjoyed it.

Sitting at an outdoor table enjoying the view and excellent food and wine, what’s not to like? The Saxon Game Plate is superb and the Tarte Tatin magnificent. Very good and attentive service make a meal here a memorable experience. Highly recommended.

Location is great, staff are expremely helpful. We arrived early because our train got in 2 hours early but we were still able to get our apartment. The apartment was beautiful, well thought out and really good quality. Great bed, lovely bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen and a nice inner courtyard. Lockers where you can store your bags if you have a late departure.
