We have eaten at the Landhotel dinner and can only stress how excellent the food was. From the Appetizer to the Dessert everything was fresh, super tasty and also visually perfect. The Service was also very great. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

We stopped on the way back to the UK. We are very pleased with the experience. Clean rooms and tasty buffet type breakfast. Staff speaks English. Lovely place. One of the best stays. Close to the motorway however in the Leipzig low emmison zone so sticker required technically. Internet connection slow but but overall experience - extremely positive.

About what you can expect from a 3 star hotel in Germany: average hotel with employees that don't speak or don't want to speak English. The bed was comfortable so we got a good night's sleep. The only problem we had with it was that the room smelled like someone smoked cigarettes in it every day for the past 20 years. Won't book this hotel again.

The rooms are worn out. The carpets are old. The beds are only made briefly every two days, nothing else.

Overall good Overall, the room was a bit dated, but it was clean, albeit rather small, especially in the bathroom. The stains on the hallway carpet don't indicate recent soiling, but rather indicate that it could use some renovation. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, making the stay pleasant.

What a great hotel! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and the rooms are huge with a very nice big bathroom also. The hotel is literally just under 100m away from the train station, about 300m away from a nice supermarket and just under 500m away from the old town. It is a great location! Perfect for a one night stop when travelling by rail. We were able to leave our bags at reception in the morning as we arrived early which was great. The room was fine with a bathroom bigger than the bedroom ! Plenty of choice at breakfast. Helpful staff when we checked in and out.

The hotel is ideally located for exploring Naumburg. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is varied and rich. There is a slight deduction for the room furnishings, which only offer a chair or a bed for an evening stay. Be sure to listen to the directions at reception. This is unique lodging, where the famous painter Lucas Cranach, lived and had his workshop in the time of Martin Luther. Excellent hotel, spacious rooms, free parking. They have their own beer garden and a small playground for children. As the hotel is an old factory-style building built into a hillside, the hotel comes with some staircases and uphill walking before you arrive in your room. People with wheelchair should probably better contact the hotel in advance.
