We organized a week long conference at this hotel attended by 10 people from the US and Poland. It was absolutely perfect. We were so well looked after by the staff. The conference room had a massive TV which was perfect for our needs. The Manager, Rolf, spoke perfect English and took care of our nightly dinner reservation needs. They had both hot breakfast(scrambled eggs,sausage and bacon) and various cold items prepared early in the morning. Room was fitted with a mini bar refrigerator and mini canisters of nuts for very reasonable prices. Coffee was delicious! Water pressure was excellent too.

Nice little hotel. The rooms are clean and modern. The staff are very friendly and respond to requests. The breakfast is plentiful and it is constantly being refilled. There are sufficient parking spaces and a chargeable charging station for e-cars. The dinner was also very good and reasonably priced.

The park is wonderful. The room was clean. I didn't really know where the sauna and other extra things were. There is 3 building and you need to move outside between them. The breakfast was in an other building. Th breakfast was ok.

This place is amazing!! We left Holland to support Ukraine with food, clothing and medicin. After allmost e days of barelly sleeping we arrived here 5:30AM. We could sleep untill 12 and leave at one and still pay for only one night. This is the we needed. Thanks to the lady (who spoke very good English as well) for helping us when we had nowhere else to go

The staff are friendly, especially those who clean the rooms at the hotel. They do their best. The room becomes very clean and neat when they pass through. The location is not bad. But the parking fee is 6 euro daily. On the ground floor, there is a restaurant and bar.

I like it when a place gets it just right. This place did for me. In covid times some people are put off going out I'm glad I felt very comfortable there. I found the staff very attentive and friendly. They went the extra mile. Rooms were very clean. Check-in and check- out was easy. I felt at home there.

Nice experience I booked this hotel during the race of Motogp even if it is 45 minutes from the circuit, it is really good to stay here to relax. Nice restaurant, Nice extra service like a small lake to swin and children park Really suggested

Perfect place to chill, natural swimming pool with some fishes in that do not trouble. The food amazing as well we tried few options and all of them were good, but the dessert is mind blowing! Great place with good welcoming staff, recommended

Absolutely loved this place! The natural pool is a dream! The people in the hotel were always friendly and our family room had the perfect size. A walk to the Elbe is a few minutes away and you can reach Dresden and Meissen (beautiful, beautiful place) by car or even bike easily from there. We will be definitely back!

Great Place to relax, no Air-conditioning was the only down side

I have been staying at this wonderful hotel regularly since June 2024. The rooms are just great, the breakfast is top notch, the buffet is lovingly prepared and there is a great selection, everything you could wish for. There is also everything you need for a nice, relaxing vacation, especially if you want to do sports in the hotel's own facilities. I can highly recommend it and will come back again...

We ate here in the beer garden and it was delicious. Service is friendly. Location is currently under renovation, that's why one point less, because toilet use is only possible to a limited extent.

Nice location in Chemnitz to practise tennis, table tennis, bowling, ... all equipment can be rented there and no subscription are needed. The personal is also nice and helpful.

Beautiful hotel with excellent staff. The rooms are lovingly designed, the bathrooms are modern and easily accessible. The balconies are well maintained and have a perfect view of the castle. The breakfast was plentiful, fresh and very tasty. However, I recommend arriving by car as the bus connection is very poor.

Large and delicious breakfast buffet. Very nice service. Unfortunately no restaurant anymore. The room with balcony had a wonderful view. On three days, students had their jumping training, which was exciting to watch. Unfortunately, the WiFi on the third floor left a lot to be desired. All in all, a relaxing vacation.

We stayed at this nice hotel for the second time and were very satisfied again. Very friendly welcome, great breakfast and a lovely quiet location. We'd love to come back 👍

Room was OK but the bathroom was disappointing, especially the rusty heater where the clean towels hang. Breakfast is also OK.

A short review of our short trip ☺️ We can only recommend the Schanzenhaus in Wernigerode, it was very clean, charming rooms and a fantastic location not far from the promenade. We'd love to come back 🤗

We liked taking a walk in the park and seeing the Burg. Plus, we ate at Lilly's and walked there too!

The hotel has a nice atmosphere and is around 20 km from Chemnitz. Easily accessible from the highway with plenty of parking spaces. The hotel rooms are clean and functional. The bed is very small - very unusual. I didn't think the kitchen was really good. The entrecot was a real disaster (size, Taste, quality), and the breakfast buffet wasn't good either. Overall, there are better places in Chemnitz

Beautiful grounds, huge wonderful room, great staff fantastic atmosphere. That sums it up.

This is the place where you wanna celebrate your wedding for sure. I would. Is so romantic and a special place. Close to the medieval castle. I love the garden and the open space available here. Architecture is also awesome, medieval style.

The photo/address on this page is misleading. You check in at the main hotel in the Obermarkt, if you pay an extra 20€ you may stay here; otherwise, your actual stay is on Plattnerstraße. A stay without elevators, but all in all, it’s a very clean and well-kept stay.

Interesting building and nice service Historical place with some limitations. The layout of room and bathroom bit strange: room enormous and bathroom very tiny. Too few sockets, no place for cosmetics in the bathroom while just a shelf would make a change. For more then a week we wait for refund of overcharged payment. Breakfast awfull- bad organisation, cold food.

We spent three nights at this centrally located hotel. The reception was friendly and uncomplicated. We had actually booked the 3* guesthouse a few meters away and were able to stay in the 4* main building for only €10.00 per day. Furnishings have a typical Italian flair, our room was very large and faced the market square. There is a lot of activity there, but you can't hear anything with the windows...

I book this hotel usually when I visit Leipzig due to the convenience of digital 24h checkin and ease of use. However, more often than not, there is not enough toiled paper, meaning you get only 1 that someone used before. Also if you go in summer you need to know there is no AC. If you need to buy food or drinks, know that there is no fridge. The beds are great though. Also fast access to public...

Parking with easy access to the hotel. Between 18:00 and 9:00 for 6 euro. Clean room. Good bed clean towels, enough toilet paper. Everything there for a good night sleep. We choose a comfort room to sleep quiet. In the neighborhood are enough restaurants, mostly foreign food. Good breakfast in the bakery below.

I was staying 1night at that hotel, the payment, access info were good. Room, single room was good, clean, very basic, but extremely hot and without A/C, different from description online. In the summer month is must be without A/C not possible to sleep, window can be open, but street down is noisy. On the end a mixed impression, if there an other hotel chance in Leipzig with an A/C room over summer...

Spotlessly clean room, modern, very basic with a nice bed & bathroom. It is however not city 'center' (although easily accessible with a good public transport). Cleaning of the room/making of the bed is an extra, as were many other services. Nice safe area. I did however mistakingly book the same hotel twice with two different companies, & neither would refund my money. Apart from that, good value...

The hotel's location is perhaps a bit awkward—near the railway tracks—and it followed us into the night, even though we were on the fourth floor. We had the large tower room there; it's quite funny when you go up there, but the view from up there is fantastic! The room was very clean and tidy, even though the hotel seems to be from another era. The investment in the ambiance also stood out! Very pleasant...

This hotel is very good for the money you pay. No loud disco in October. It was very quiet. Furniture is older, bed was ok and clean, carpet was new. Breakfast was average for 10 Euro. Tram nb 7 just across the street will take you to the centre in 15min. Easy enough. Things to improve : very poor light in the bathroom and only 3 analog channels on TV.

Went to Leipzig to watch a game. The hotel's location is average, a bit far from the city center, but quite close to the stadium, just 3 tram stops away. The hotel environment is average, and the trash cans are not cleaned. The hotel has a parking lot, which is very convenient. It's 7 euros a night. Overall, the price/performance ratio is still acceptable.

I didn`t like that the Lift was not worked.

This is a nice, clean, professional, and affordable hotel with an attached restaurant and bar. There are many beautiful art works throughout the building and in the rooms. American travelers should know this is an older building and your room probably won't have A/C, but will have a fan. Shower water can be as hot or cold as you'd like. The neighborhood has easy bus and tram access to get anywhere...

Pretty basic, cost effective and decent hotel in Leipzig. Within walking/tram distance of the city centre. The direct surroundings are a bit less inspiring, but the hotel itself is okay and has a friendly staff and proper German breakfast buffet.

The place is alright and not too pricey, the hotel and rooms are obviously rather old. The rooms are rather small, the beds a bit worn and not really comfortable, somewhat natural given the age. Everything is cleanly. The WiFi does not comply with current security standards. The breakfast is quite ok for the price. The surrounding area has a lot of oriental food options, but little more.

This is a review of the property as an art gallery. Focusing on Leipzig School works, and spread over the hallways of the five floors of the hotel, the Leipziger Hof gallery is quite enjoyable. It can be visited any day between 10a and 8p. Plan between 30 and 45 minutes. Particular highlights include a Mattheuer and a Tuebke.

The hotel is clean and the insulation is good. The rooms are quite small. The bed is comfortable, the breakfast is ok, although nothing special. In the centre of Chemnitz, opposite to the Stadthalle. Located on the 5-6th floor. No gym. Bathroom is ok.

The hotel is located on the 5th & 6th floor of this centrally located building directly at the tram stop. Very convenient, quiet and modern. The breakfast was good and service super friendly.

The Biendo was perfectly placed for the conference I attended and most attractions in Chemnitz are a short walk away.

There is very nice place. The birds singing a lot. There is very quiet and the rooms are ok. The breakfasts are ok. The staff is also friendly.

We stayed there with a group of 12 in April 2019 for 3 nights. The staff was extreme friendly and helpful , rooms were very clean, food was delicious. The Hotel is about 6 km away from Wittenberg in a nice quite area. We would book anytime again. Tanks to the friendly team

We were in Leipzig for a get together in the family home and were looking for somewhere for out of towners to stay afterwards. Expecting to check in late and head off early, the price was very attractive, but having it just kept getting better and better. The tram connection into the city is excellent, parking either out front, or in the courtyard is ample and the rooms we had were very generously...

The location isn't exactly beautiful, BUT! The friendliness and service more than make up for it. Getting around by car is no problem, especially since there's plenty of free parking nearby.

I was here on a business trip working at the Leipziger Messe arena, which is an easy 20min walk away. I'm not sure why else you would stay here because the area is extremely barren. However, for that specific purpose, the hotel is in a location. The only shop in nearby area is petrol station across the road. The one restaurant downstairs by the hotel lobby was good. The WiFi was far too slow to function...

The Hotel is dated but clean and well priced. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Parking is plentiful and only $2 per night. The Greek restaurant in the Hotel is very good. If your getting in late expect a good meal there.
