We stayed in the area close to the woods which is the prettiest part but the other part is nice as well, just a bit further walk from everything. The facilities are splendid: great indoor swimming pool, nice indoor playground with crafts every day around 10, fab bowling area with blacklight and music, little shop with mainly souvenirs, swimwear...

Cosy hotel for families with young children! Free cultural events in high season at the Kleinkunstbühne with pub. Highly recommended as the whole landscape is cultural somehow "dead". Empty streets in the evening in WR, GS, Bad Harzburg, Halberstadt etc.

This is a basic hotel with clean and well maintained rooms at affordable prices. It is not fancy or modern. Personnel is very friendly and happy to help. Location is just around the corner from most sites in Wittenberg. The breakfast buffet is very good and highly recommendable.

I stayed here whilst on business in Zickau. The staff here are all friendly. The check in and out was quick and efficient. The room was clean and there was plenty of options for breakfast. The location is just a few minutes walk from the main restaurant area and also the park.

The hotel room was okay: not very big but clean with functioning gadgets. Beds were not that comfortable though. Service at the hotel is really worth improvement! The cleaning staff members knocked at the door early morning TWICE (around 8am and around 10am again) and opened it without getting any response. I really did not feel comfortable experiencing it. The lobby is quite large, with a gym next door. The service was acceptable. The mattress in the room was too soft and the problem persisted even after three nights. The breakfast was average. Besides sausage, butter, bread, and fruit, it was also canned sugar. I was a little disappointed. It's a 20-minute walk from the old town.

It located near the city center, very convenient. The breakfast is wonderful. Especially I have left my tablet in my room. When I noticed in the train and asked to the hotel by mail. It's a little inconvenient because it's a little far away, but the building was clean. It would be helpful if there was a microwave in the room or in the common area. There was a refrigerator. There was also a bathtub.

It takes 10 minutes to walk from the hotel to the light rail station. The location is remote. It is not convenient to take a taxi. It is not recommended for those who are not traveling by car. I booked it because of Marriott at first. But the service and facilities are not up to par. The air conditioner in the room is broken and the bathroom is very small.

The location of the hotel was a bit disappointing as it is rather far away from the city center. Our room was clean but rather basic. The in room safe did not work and the safety chain on the door was loose. Breakfast was really good with everything you could wish for. The staff at the front desk was not very welcoming.

On the first view you feel like the hotel is too old but its just looks like. Reception is very dark and I belive if you change reception (as a place ) that can bring better first impression. I don't mean to change a place but to renovat it or to bring some soul to it. Rooms are big and really very clean. For a few days to stay strongly recommend this place

It’s exactly what you expect (and need) from a typical 3 star hotel. I just wish those bloody axolotl would stop hiding every time I entered the lobby.

Very friendly staff! They kept the reception open a bit longer for us so we could still check-in and at that moment even took the time to connect with our dog (which is difficult and takes patience). Would definitely recommend this place and whenever traveling in the area I’ll stay here.

Very nice hotel at the most exquisite spot - with a million dollar view of the castle.

10 min walk to Old Town and all restaurants. 20 min to Castle. We did not get a room with the river view but the room was updated and very clean. Breakfast option is well worth the money. Will definitely return when back in Meissen.

Perfect rooms, lots of choices for breakfast and they even have a greek restaurant in their structure. One of the best choices if you are around Zwickau.

AC malfunction during our stay, unfortunately. Sleepig by open windows is not an ideal solution when the room is looking at the Leipzig Hbf. Trams and traffic all the night. The hotel personnel kindly arranged moving to a small room on the yard side, where we could have a better sleep.

The hotel was centrally located and had easy walk distance to the nearby castle and marketplace. The room was comfortable and the included breakfast had a wide variety. Several staff members could understand and speak English which helped a lot. I would definitely stay here again!

It's a sort of antique hotel. However, it's worn down and lacks the magical atmosphere it should have. The rooms are small and inadequate (for the price paid). Breakfast options are limited. The waiters are helpful. Being right next to the old city is an advantage. And nice garden .

The bed had a sort of rubberized sheet below the lower sheet that had a smell to it. The temperature set control did not seem to work. It was warm in August and the only bedding provided was for cold weather.

A commendable hotel! We had the pleasure of residing in a room with two distinct bedrooms, the beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the pillows and bedspreads were remarkably cozy. I strongly suggest it to families.

Stayed for one night, with my friend. Considering the price, facility, location, room condition was quite nice. And the staff service was the best. There was an unexpected strong smell of cigarette in the room, but when I informed this to the front desk, the staff immediately apologized and kindly gave us new room. Hotel is not air-conditioned. Unfortunately my stay coincided with a heat wave. I was able to move to a room on the cooler side of the building. Leaving the window open was precluded by street noise.
