It was in the heart of Athens, so it was close to everywhere. The staff was also very friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and the room was clean and the accommodation was in good condition.
Enjoyed our stay here. Good sized clean rooms, very good location and helpful staff. Shout out to Dim!
good environment, friendly and kind reception.
Breakfast is excellent
Cons
Pillows could be softer (feather)
Request more towels for the floor, shower spills due to floor being flat and water no curve to drainage
Breakfast is missing was fresh sliced fruit
Pros
Location is excellent, easy to walk to the main sites
Bed is very comfortable, if you’re here for a couple of nights perfect hotel to stay in. Staff are very friendly and always ready to help you
The warm welcome, the comfortable rooms, the perfect location… all exceeded my expectations. A special thank you to Dmitry at the reception — he guided me with such clarity and kindness that it made my stay even better
The Location is very Central, close to all the restaurants and historical sites. The Hotel is modestly good with some furnishment that can be improve, but overall is good for a short stay in Athens
Excellent location, walking distance to Plaza. Monastiraki and Acropolis. Amazing breakfast. Unfortunately the terrace was closed: what a pity!
Excellent location near tourist shopping, dining, and the Acropolis. Hotel was clean and has been renovated to appear more modern ( except the small rickety elevator)
The breakfast is enough, maybe it can be good to have a bit of different fruits, not only watermelon. the view from the topfloor is amazing
My favourite hotel in Athens. Smiling, helpful and welcoming staff.
Excellent location just outside Plaka and a few minutes walk from
Nice hotel located close to metro and a wide range of restaurants and cafés. Hotel is clean and well maintained and provides a good breakfast.
Athens, Valaoritou 6, Kolonaki (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Our room was spotless, comfortable, and quiet, with stylish decor and thoughtful details. The staff were exceptionally kind and always ready to help with a smile. Breakfast was delicious and rich, with plenty of options
We stayed at this hotel for 5 days. We would like to highly recommend this hotel. The service of the staff is at a very high level. She made sure everything was amazing
The room was clean and comfortable, but it could use a bit more modernization and updated amenities to match the hotel’s otherwise stylish feel
The balcony was very narrow and not really usable, there was no seating area and no view, just the building across the street. The location is excellent: close to everything and not noisy. The hotel itself is very small
In addition, the hotel helped my friend organize my room for my birthday and it was very enjoyable
The breakfast was decent — good enough to start the day, though it could be improved with a bit more variety and freshness
Nice and good hotel. Pleasant personnel. Good breakfast. We can recommend!
There is a small shop around the corner with food and drinks and some local takeways around the corner. The room we had was big, clean and modern. One problem is the lift is very small
I found the hotel perfect to stay in for a visit to all the sites. It is close to public transport which makes it easy to get around Athens
Very easy property have everything you need and right next to syntagma square so basically in the centre
Stuff are very kind and respectful. Room was very clean and breakfast was nice as well.
Perfect location ,clean hotel . You can use it for business.
Athens, Charilaou Trikoupi 76, 10680, Greece (in the centre) 🧭 Map
We wanted to be close to kolonaki as I love this area and we needed a possibility to leave our luggage for few hours after check out. So we needed an accommodation with reception. Athens Way was good price - value ratio
lots of cozy cafes nearby, good supermarket and Metro - 10 min walk
Relatively cheap, central location close to so many places, large comfy rooms, very good breakfast with a view. Can't fault it.
We were coming back from the islands and had to have a night in Athens before catching the flight next evening
You get what you pay for ... what is to say too much in athens! convenient location, clean and refurbished rooms. Nice roof restaurant for breakfast.
Nice and clean place.close to metro station.
Comfortable bed but they really need new pillows, they are over used. The breakfast stayed till 11.30.
Athens, Mitropoleos 49, Athina (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Once we arrived, she continued to assist us along with the rest of this excellent and professional staff
The Basque cheesecake, in particular, was so good that I went back a second time just for it
The crown jewel of this boutique hotel is the rooftop restaurant, pool and outdoor seating/lounging area with a mesmerizing veiw of the Acropolis! Wow, wow, wow! However, all the amenities offered still didn't match the service and hospitality provided by the tremendous staff
My wife and I spent 9 nights at the Dolli in celebration of her birthday and I can't recommend this property more highly! The location is ideal for exploring Athens and the hospitality they provided was above and beyond
Meal reservations, tour arrangements, and some special cleaning and dietary needs were all handled without hesitation. We hope to return soon and also explore some of their other properties throughout Greece
The hotel is beautiful, featuring both classic and modern motifs. Our room was spacious with large windows, a most comfortable bed, and everything one could need at their fingertips
Athens, Vouliagmenis Avenue 109 (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Breakfast was good. You get traditional Greek food. Staff all speak English. They have an open air dining area for smokers.
Excellent hotel!
My room was spacious and clean the whole stay, the room service was impeccable, the breakfast met expectations. The reception staff were kind and I got an extension at check-out until 2:00 PM
Nice place. Easy access to city center.
Room is nice with best price in the same area.
Good service
Warm people
Cozy
Great bf
Not the best breakfast yet sleep was more important
This was the first hotel of our trip. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. I can't rave enough about the breakfast. It was amazing! Hats off to the chef! The room was clean and had everything that you needed
Piraeus, Iroon Politexniou Str., 45 (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The staff were outstanding, showing great hospitality and always being friendly and helpful. The rooms were kept clean and tidy throughout my stay, which made the experience even more comfortable
The services are great and people working there are friendly and very welcoming the rooms are good and equipped with necessary things and cleanliness is good
I had a very pleasant stay at Noufara Hotel. The location is excellent—very convenient and close to everything, making it easy to get around
There isn't a restaurant for lunch or dinner (just breakfast), but there are plenty of good restaurants around in the streets behind the hotel
Stayed one night after getting the ferry and before getting a flight home.
Not far from the port or the metro.
Good breakfast
Ideally central city location adjacent to the Metro rasy access to bus lines. Efficient and friendly staff cleand and comfortable rooms. A case of “love at first stay” simply won me
Piraeus, 8 Tsamadou Street (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Lovely, modernized hotel in heart of Pirareus. Our balcony was huge- big enough for multiple chairs, two loungers, and tables. The free breakfast was delicious and quite ample- eggs, sausages, pastries, etc
There was a struck when I was there. Hotel staff was very nice to provide the struck information and help to arrange the transportation. 👍 I will recommend
The room was clean and the location was excellent.
Plenty of nice shopping and food just outside and in walking distance
Be advised, though, if you stay in Pirareus, many tours won't pick you up since they might only do so from centrai Athens
Very convenient hotel in a great location right next to the piraeus port. Great for an overnight stay to take the ferry in the morning
The front desk is open at all hours which is very helpful for late flights or early ferries
Athens, 22 Charitos Str, Kolonaki (in the centre) 🧭 Map
My husband and I stayed at the Periscope Hotel in Athens, Greece to celebrate our 40th anniversary and what a delight it was! Everyone from front desk to housekeeping to managment was extraordinarily wonderful - friendly, helpful, anxious to tell us about the city, make recommendations, reservations, or lend us a tablet to solve our cell phone problem the minute we checked in
The location is very convient with loads of shops and restaurants, the National Botanical Garden, the Plaka, and more just minutes away. There is snack food, coffee and other drinks available in the lobby all the time
Of course, the penthouse with it's private rooftop hot tub was the most perfect! We had booked a standard room using Marriott Bonvoy points and were immediately upgraded to a superior room
The room is sleek and modern, comfortable bed,and is cleaned daily. The penthouse was a real treat! Huge room with a sitting area, great view, the works
We loved the Periscope and their staff so much that we will definely be returning on our next trip to Athens! Give it a try; you won't be sorry!
Nelli’s warm smile and attentiveness, the comfort of the hotel… We felt so relaxed and had such a wonderful time. Thank you so, so much
I stayed at Philippos with my family on vacation. The cost was exceptionally affordable for the perfect location, and our room was exactly as advertised. The best part of our stay was the incredible service
The hotel is very nice, clean, and well maintained, with a great location close to the city center and major attractions. Everything was easily accessible, making it a convenient and pleasant base for exploring Athens
Throughout our short stay hotel staff were more than willing to share recommendations and eager to help in every way to ensure we had a wonderful, relaxing visit. I would stay again and recommend to all families
Exceptional hospitality in the heart of Athens
I had a fantastic stay at Philippos Hotel! The location is unbeatable—literally steps away from the Acropolis Museum and the metro station
For anyone interested in tours, there is an 'Athenian Tours' office right across the street, which is very convenient and enjoy the Acropolis view from the rooftop
The Standout Service:
The staff truly made my trip special. The male receptionist who welcomed me was incredibly nice and accommodating
Piraeus, 78-80 Notara Street (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Breakfast buffet for €11 on 7th floor is good value with decent coffee. Lifts are a bit tight, but they work
Not a super nice place not an awful place, rooms were pretty nice, bathrooms are quite nice, good place to stay for a night as a jumping off point for the island ferries, not a place to stay if you're visiting to be sight seeing Athens
A really nice hotel close to the cruise ports with everything you need. Nice rooms that I have been recently refurbished and a lovely breakfast every morning. Great staff and service.
Stayed here during spring break and overall had a pleasant experience. The rooms are small but nicely maintained, clean, and comfortable for a short stay
Super close to walk to the port for ferry terminals that's why I gave location a 5 star selection. On our stay elevators were not working so that was kind of crappy, most hotel staff were nice, friendly & helpful
Don't expect everywhere you go to be a nice clean area around there, like any big city its old tight, urban, diverse, congested & busy so yes it will not be super clean sometimes
Athens, 18 Agiou Dimitriou Street (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The only negative was that the bathroom door does not close normally and does not have a lock. The door and a bit of the wall are frosted glass so this can make it uncomfortable for some
We were on the 6th floor and our room had a balcony with a great view of the Acropolis. The hotel was also in a great location to shopping and restaurants with a lot to choose from
They have a daily breakfast that was good enough to start our days of adventure
See photos of the room, basic clean and tidy, all you need for a 4 day stay. Because of the time of year it was very quite and peaceful
The location in Psirri is excellent, central to EVERYTHING while being far away enough from the bars that you don’t even notice them
Great option and very friendly staff. Clean, modern and the breakfast included was good quality. Happy that we booked here.
Athens, 5 Mykonou Str & Kolokotroni Str (12 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Overall a good hotel if you are fan of boutique hotels
His attention to detail and friendly demeanor made the meal even more enjoyable. The Twenty Hotel is a perfect combination of comfort, quality, and outstanding hospitality
Rooms are cute well maintained but small. Staff is helpful, all basic amenities are provided, mini bar kettle, toiletries etc
No gym or fitness centre. No spa
Walking distance to many restaurants and shops
She made the check-in process seamless and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort throughout my stay. The hotel itself is a gem—beautifully maintained with cozy, well-designed, and impeccably clean rooms
Every detail was thoughtfully considered to create a relaxing and welcoming environment. Dining at the hotel restaurant was another highlight. The food was exceptional, and the service provided by George was top-notch
Charming hotel nested in Kifisia (really green and safe area in the northern part of Athens). Friendly and professional staff. Very enjoyable restaurant (busy at we, so don't forget tok book your table)
Athens, Pendelis Avenue 71 (8 km from centre) 🧭 Map
I enjoyed the breakfast, the room service was quick and food was pretty good.
Okay place
The hotel was very clean, but the shower was not the best. They had the hose attachment only and no shower head up high
Nice close to the airport hotel. We had a super early flight and they laid a continental breakfast for us at 3:00 am so we could have something at least. For the price, it was a good deal
I liked the fact that it’s close to the airport, about a 20 minute drive. I’ve stayed there for the past 4 years and it has been a great experience. The staff and the food are great. I’d recommend it to anyone.
Fantastic small hotel, which has all the basics covered. Room was clean when we arrived and was cleaned again everyday. Staff were helpful and spoke excellent English. Room had air conditioning and a balcony
Good location for quick food etc. Convenient for airport via 20mins taxi (time of day varies). Best price compared to everywhere else
Athens, 20, Karolou & Psaron Str. (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel was nice enough, there was a good breakfast included in the room rate, the mattresses were hard though so sleeping wasn’t great. Overall the staff were helpful
Although close to the Metro our party preferred to use taxi/Uber type services to get to the more well-known attractions like the Parthenon
Our Trip to Athens
This hotel was very well positioned for a visit to the main sights of Athens and for downtown exploring
There was a great bar nearby for some afternoon drinks and a lovely fish bar that treated us like locals
There is literally nothing worth your attention around this hotel. The nearest tourist attraction is at least 25 minute of pretty energetic walk, and i am talking about walking shortest distance, meaning local streets
Which are not really clean and maintained around the area and borderline safe as i saw few bums laying down on the street just few blocks away. So i advice to use a taxi especially if you are coming back late
Athens, Macedonian Pradouna 21 (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Best value for money hotel, top service, cleanliness, new, comfortable hotel
I recommend
The room was beautiful! Our hotel was near a subway station so it made it easy to move around the city and get to know different spots. We had breakfast included and they had a variety of food
The kindness the staff showed when checking in was genuine and very welcoming. The building is very modern and felt extra safe and secure because of that
The complimentary amenities were numerous and the beds were very comfortable. I will remember to come to Newel Psychiko whenever I return to Athens
We had a great stay at this hotel. We were kindly upgraded upon arrival and our room was wonderful, with our own jacuzzi
If I’m ever back in Athens, I’ll stay at this hotel again for sure
The yoga mats and accessories were a lovely addition and we used them every morning so came away feeling like we'd been on a spa retreat! The breakfasts were delicious and we pre-ordered the evening before for delivery to our room, the rooftop or the bar area
This is a real gem of a place with super helpful and friendly staff. The decor is modern and calming and everywhere is kept clean and well looked after. My husband and two sons enjoyed the junior suite for 4 nights
The rooftop has beautiful views but being February it was sadly too cold to use the pool. It was easy walking distance to explore the sights and a short walk to public transport links
This meant we had very bad sleep during our stay and despite numerous attempts by the staff to fix it, it stayed broken. Additionally the breakfast, while nice in theory - was of mixed quality
It’s very hard to predict the exact time you’ll want to eat breakfast on vacation. I hope the hotel can fix these issues o
Fantastic hotel with extremely friendly & helpful staff. Would highly recommend
We arrived expecting a charming, clean, four star boutique hotel as advertised, and instead found a grubby one or two star property… it was a very disappointing end to a great holiday
We came in at 3am due to a late flight, and they were very accommodating! They booked our airport transportation and waited for us to check in. Excellent location if you want to be close to the Acropolis
A listed and converted mansion, great views of the Acropolis from window and balcony if you have the right rooms. Make a good note of the address as the hotel has no sign outside!
We are interested in history, so we paid attention to the historical building of the hotel. The hotel has a good location, the unique interior has been preserved. But we had a room on the top floor under the roof
The washing area does not have a normal-sized mirror, and when getting out of bed on the window side, you constantly have to be careful not to hit your head. There is no good lighting near the main mirror
Good -good location - friendly staff - room size
Bad - no access by car - no name outside to find the place - bathroom fan ran all the time - poor wi-fi
Excellent hotel, highly recommended !Central location, only 5 minutes walking to Monastiraki Square. The staff are courteous and professional. The rooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable and very clean
The staff is amazing and helpful and their online transportation recommendation of Welcome Pickups is the best! We have used it in multiple cities so far and love it! Again, I cannot say enough good things about this place
Clean and tidy, but the hotel is a bit old. The location is good, about a 10-minute drive from the airport and an hour from Shipwreck Beach. There are restaurants and such downstairs.
The bathroom was HUGE and the room had a balcony which led out from both the bathroom and the sleeping area. It was so nice to come back to the hotel and enjoy a nice glass of wine on the balcony
The staff was also AMAZING! They were so kind to us helping us with our luggage and even greeting us with wine and treats when we arrived as we were on our honeymoon
Unfortunately we had to checkout early due to unforeseen personal circumstances and we notified the hotel as soon as we found out
