I wish I had taken pictures of the hotel to recommend it to other people. The location is perfect - with numerous brunch places and attractions nearby and the subway being less than 10 minutes away. There are a lot of restaurants and bars nearby, which made me choose the hotel. I had the room with two beds, and it was enough for two people with two small luggages open. The bathroom was also very clean...

Perfect location! We took the metro from the airport to the hotel and didn't need to use public transport again after that. Everything was within walking distance. The room was lovely, clean, and well-decorated. The staff were attentive and very friendly. I highly recommend it!

The room was beautifully furnished and perfectly adequate in size. It was very clean, with daily housekeeping. The staff responded quickly to any written inquiries, and the location is excellent. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely choose this hotel again.

Absolutely lovely hotel in the heart of Athens‘ historic centre. Two metro stations less than five minutes walk from the hotel, while countless cafés, restaurants, bars and shops are literally at your doorstep. Despite the busy area, the rooms have good sound protection, so we were not disturbed. The only downside is that the WiFi while stable, it hasn’t got a great performance.

Service was excellent and so was the breakfast. Walkable to Acropolis museum and entrance. I really like my room with balcony with views of the Acropolis especially at night .

The room itself was decent, but there's room for improvement in terms of cleanliness. The location is excellent, making it very convenient to walk to the Acropolis. The rooftop restaurant offers great views, quality, and service. The Christmas set menu was quite good, and the breakfast buffet in the lobby had many choices, though the taste was just average.

This hotel is much better than any hotel in Athens in the same price segment. I liked service and room. And the location is great.

You can walk to the central of Athens, including attractions like Ancient Agora and Roman Agora. If you walk further south into the area, the famous Acropolis and the museum can be reached. This hotel offers great value for money. Although the facade is small, it has quite a few rooms. The staff are all very responsible; when our water heater broke, we told the front desk, and they quickly sent someone to replace the set for us. The hotel is located in the old town, allowing you to experience the daily life of Athens residents. They also provide a standard free European breakfast.

Traveling from London with a 19-hour layover in Athens, I arrived at the hotel around 9 PM and had a flight to Shanghai the next day at 1 PM. I chose this hotel primarily for its excellent location, being very close to the Acropolis and within walking distance. The hotel has a classic style and is very clean. The breakfast selection is limited, but the food is healthy, delicious, and very tasty. You can see the Acropolis from the small balcony. The location is very convenient; it's just a 200-meter walk from the Metro Line 2 station. Highly recommended!

Cozy clean hotel in a great lively location in the center of Athens. 30 minute walk to Acropolis for those who prefer to walk. The metro station is 5 mins away, too. The location is excellent, with many restaurants nearby, right next to the Plaka pedestrian street. The breakfast was also quite substantial. I heard there's a bar on the top floor with Acropolis views, but we didn't go up. Overall, it's good and offers great value for money!

Apparently we didn’t have the breakfast included in our stay. The cost was $15 euros each for breakfast if we paid at the hotel. We opted to go across the street to a nice bakery and have a coffee and fresh baked good for around $4-5 euros each. We no big breakfast people fit was good for us.

This hotel was lovely with a nice view of the harbour & upwards to the Acropolis, however the road noise at night is quite loud & continues into the early morning. The staff was friendly & very accomodating. The rooftop terrace was lovely & the food was very good.

Conveniently located near the cruise port, the stay was comfortable and the on property restaurant offered a good variety of appetizing meals.

The location is great; however, we were a bit disappointed as the hotel looks much nicer in the photos than in reality. Although it claims to be a boutique hotel, it feels more like a standard hotel. It’s our second time at this hotel and we had a great experience at Azur. The staff were amazing , rooms were cleaned everyday and the breakfast was excellent.

The (#704) room was spacious and well appointed. Unfortunately, it connected with the neighboring room and had precisely zero soundproofing. The staff appeared to be aware it might be a problem, were apologetic, but did precisely nothing to remedy it.

Property was in great shape. I didn't receive the free bottle of wine. And the "free" parking was indeed free but very inconvenient finding it in the evening when it was dark. It was not at the hotel but about 3 blocks away.

The hotel was nice but dated. The aircon was freezing, regardless of what temperature it was set to. The buffet breakfast was a bit average. Left my bags/ jacket with concierge pre check in, and my jacket was very dirty upon return- looking as though it had been left on the floor. Staff were friendly.

Great location. Easy walk to all the major sites in Athens. Beautiful room and bath. Patio was nice for fresh air. Thick glass windows and door kept the city noise out. No views of the city - but why come to Athens just to sit in your room?

Small hotel with a good location in the city to go by foot. Breakfast is fine. Don't expect a hotel lobby or window views - it's in a narrow building complex not a Vegas Hotel. All in all nice people and normal hygiene in the rooms.

The hotel's location and facilities are very good, close to the subway and the street, but the outdoor bathtub is very dirty. My wife tried to clean it but still didn't dare to use it. It was a waste of money to upgrade.

The hotel is located in a quiet corner in the city center. Reasonably convenient and takes only 3 minutes to walk to a metro station.

I am very impressed that the hotel provides complimentary wines in the evening between 7:00pm-8:00pm and morning Pilate lesson at roof top garden overlooking view of the city and Acropolis, bottled fresh smoothies were served after the lesson. This is my home away from home the only issue we had was the temperature one but was solved eventually. The breakfast is good lots of options however the plant based milk wasn’t good which made the coffee taste bad. The receptionists are always polite and welcoming.

The Modernist Athens has a vibe that feels fresh and thoughtfully different from other hotels in the city. It’s modern yet warm, stylish without feeling distant. What truly makes the place special is the people — genuinely kind, welcoming, and always smiling. Their warmth gives the hotel a soul and makes you feel more like a guest in a home than a visitor passing through.

This is a beautiful hotel, with neatly appointed rooms of a good size. At a moderate price, the finishes feel luxurious. The location steps from the beach is wonderful, and the express airport bus X96 is conveniently nearby. I had fun exploring the sights including the natural lake and the spectacular views of the sea.

Washroom is horrible. No space for leg but breakfast is quite good.

Our room was brand new, spotless, beautifully decorated with an amazingly comfy bed. Sea view from the balcony, could sit for hours. Terrific breakfast, within steps from the beach, and great shopping & restaurants just a few minutes taxi ride away. Will definitely stay for future trips through Athens!

Nice area, tired rooms Location is great- really near the quiet beach with good restaurants and the airport (not city). We were upgraded to a suite which was great. However, the pics on the website show only the refurbished lobby. Rooms are very old and in need of refurb. Pool is small and shaded in the afternoon. Breakfast is old fashioned and cheap ingredients.

The hotel is very close to Kavouri beach and restaurents in a very beautiful and classy area. Friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast. But the room was a little bit small comparing to how huge is the hotel.

This is my 3rd time staying here and I always leave happy. First of all, the staff is very helpful and they help you with any problems you may have. They are a very young and friendly team. The rooms are very spacious and nicely designed. Since the pillows have different heights, you can easily find the right pillow for you.
