We had an incredible stay at AthensWas Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. We were celebrating our anniversary, and the team truly went above and beyond. We were upgraded to a better room, and every interaction felt warm and genuine. The staff spoke excellent English, was incredibly friendly, and always eager to help. During our stay there was a taxi strike in Athens,...
We had a wonderful holiday. The location is in the most elegant, accessible, and spacious part of the historic district. It is only 150 meters from the entrance of the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum, and you can easily reach Plaka, Monastiraki, Psiri, and Syntagma with a pleasant walk. Transportation from the airport is very simple via the M3 metro line (you can get off at Syntagma and walk, or...
Located right next to the Acropolis. You can reach nearby museum and historical spot in less than 5min walk. The room was spacious, clean and the staff was friendly and helpfull. Most iconic spot in this hotel is the restaurant, located at the rooftop. You can enjoy breakfast, brunch, lunch, coffee and dinner with the view of Acropolis It was a great stay
Our stay at AthensWas Design Hotel was nothing short of perfection !! a true 5-star experience from start to finish. The moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism that set the tone for our entire visit. Our room was spotless, complete with a beautiful balcony overlooking the Acropolis, offering one of the most breathtaking views in all of Athens. The restaurant on the 6th...
We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Our room was comfortable, modern and quiet despite the fact the hotel is in a busy area. The location was perfect for us....it was a short walk to the Acropolis museum and even shorter distance to the hop on bus we used during our stay. The entrance to the Plaka was also just down the street and the walk was longer but still easy to our tour at the Acropolis...

My stay at Alba Athens Hotel was excellent. The room was exceptionally spacious, air-conditioned, and very clean. It also had a safe and a fridge stocked with drinks. The bathroom was spotless, and the towels were replaced daily. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel was fine, but is typical of many Athens hotels that have been converted cheaply and quickly. The lift was an old fashioned cage lift, while certain fittings in the room were cheap or poorly done (e.g. the bedroom door scraped against the floor and didn’t open fully). The bed was comfy enough, the shower had good water pressure and immediately got to a high temperature, and the staff were...
Clean and comfortable place. We had a good time at this hotel. The Hotel location is nice as it is within walking distance to Monastiraki square ( about 10 minutes).
Everything was amazing. The room perfect. Not too big not too small. Very affordable. A fun enjoyable walk to near by places like restaurants and shops. The breakfast was delicious. Would definitely come back to here again. Definitely will also recommend to anyone who comes to visit. The shuttle service was great. Driver was very nice and very informative of local areas.
The property is modern and the beds are comfortable, but it’s extremely noisy if your room faces the busy main road bring earplugs. The area feels a bit sketchy and dirty, especially when walking to Plaka or major sites, though it is well lit at night. A major issue: I saw the front desk turn off the lights on guests still eating breakfast at 10:25 AM, telling them it ends at 10:30. Instead of just...
Very pleased with our stay. Clean room, quiet, very friendly staff, and affordable. Spent 2 nights there, they allowed us early check in rather than leaving our bags and were helpful throughout the stay. Only negative is the location (not hotels fault so no affect on my rating). Is on the wrong side of the acropolis so if staying there, use the metro. Is a close station. Day one, we walked all the...

Amazing! The staff were friendly and attentive, and the rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable — I’d definitely stay there again
Just too bad i was only there for a layover. But I love the cleanliness and location especially the roof top bar has a nice view of Acropolis that made me “wow”. Definitely will stay there if I visit Athen again. ❤️
Great location, clean room. Sadly there was a night club / live music until 2am lucky we had been awake very early to fly so just about managed to get to sleep. Maybe worth checking this before booking if you have a room at the back. Terrace very good view
Very good location, metro station is few minutes away and it is on Airport Blue line route. Shopping and Acropolis are around, central to everything. A rooftop bar with acropolis view and a lower ground storage are a bonus. Though the lift is too small can only accommodate 2 or three people, the breakfast is included.
Very small room and not so friendly front desk. Worth to mention, the lift is provided but if you are huge in size, it may not fit.
The Attalos Hotel is good with everything you need, reception is right at the front door with very helpful and friendly staff, the lifts are small, so only one person and your luggage at a time, but that’s ok. It has the most amazing rooftop with Athens’ best kept secret bar and view of the acropolis that you won’t ever forget. Rooms are good, (we stayed in 507 & 506), not too big, however Athens...

I booked a single room, but they provided two beds pushed together, so it couldn't be used as a double bed. Otherwise, it was alright. The location is fantastic; everything is within walking distance.
Everything was perfect, excellent parking possibilities in such a central location.
What impressed me most was the quality and variety of the breakfast. From nuts, dates, tahini sauce, cinnamon for the coffee, a variety of fruits, yogurts, and all the savory options were incredible! The service was also exceptional; I had a problem with my credit card and they contacted VISA by phone to resolve it. The rooms were very comfortable; in my case, I had a bathtub, and they left bath foam...
Overall good experience for a 3-star hotel. Rooftop was incredible! Very friendly and hospitable staff! Room was small and could use some updates, in particular the shower.
Convenient location, satisfactory cleanliness, good breakfast, excellent service and every staff member with a smile on their face. Can store luggage, luggage has a separate room to store, feel safe 👍

The hotel is clean. Location near city center .breakfast is correct staff are welcoming and helpful.
Hotel clean, cleaned every day. Breakfasts very monotonous and small selection. The worst is the area, visually very poor.
It was spacious enough for a solo traveler, and breakfast was included. I think it's a good value hotel. I don't think the surrounding area is very safe, but that's fine if you don't mind.
All the personal in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very rich and healthy. I liked especially the Greek olives, the Greek salad and the delicious Greek yogurt with honey. The location is not the best of Athens , but inside the hotel we enjoyed our two-weeks-stay very much. Bravo !!!
A good value for the price. Very clean and very helpful staff. The location is a few blocks from the metro and it’s walkable to museums and central areas. However, yes the location does seem a bit sketchy and has some visible **** use. I never felt unsafe or bothered by anyone, but I didn’t linger around. The hotel itself was a good experience and I would stay again.
It has complete supporting facilities, high cost-effectiveness, and is close to Constitution Square. Except for some alleys with a lot of idle people, it is generally safe.

Everything von A-Z was Perfect 👍
We had a one-bed suite which was lovely. Our friends had 2 x double rooms - all clean and well furnished but one room had nowhere to hang clothes.
The hotel was nice and well situated with a short walk into the main parts of Athens or to a metro station. Nice options for coffee and croissants nearby. I was caught up in some sort of protest one night and locals informed me this was an area known for scuffles, although generally I felt safe. The hotel is self checkin and no one is there. Which is fine if there are no issues. They provided some...
Nice little room with minimal facilities. All comms is via WhatsApp, with keycodes etc. No face-to-face contact. Has kettle and coffee pod maker and fridge with cups and cutlery, but no sink or dishes. A small amount of noise leaks in, but given the neighbourhood it was very very quiet.
Easy to walk from hotel to all Athens spots. Staff super lovely. Balconys were nice to sit out on. Rooms were very clean and comfy. Would stay here again. Like very much.
Easy self check in, very responsive. Used their transport to airport which was easy and affordable. Authentic neighbourhood with lots of restaurants, cafes and bars. walkable to museum and acropolis

If you’re girl traveling alone - I wouldn’t recommend this place. It’s closed to center, but the district is considered to be bad cause of immigrants and dirt. If you don’t like when weird dudes stare at you while you walk around, then its better to find another place😅 There were only guys in my shared room. Some of them were respectful and other spoke loudly on the phone at 7 am, another one was...
The hairdryer is broken. It's inconvenient having different staff every day. There's no way to enter directly by swiping a card. It's in a rather dangerous area. The surrounding area is quite chaotic.
The location is good, but it's not very clean, and the beds are terrible. The bunk beds are very noisy; I couldn't sleep properly at all. The springs in the mattresses are worn out and they make a creaking noise.
Good place to stay you meet many people
great experience. very clean and nice staffs. rooftop bar is great when you want to chill and watch the temple.
I enjoyed my stay here, the rooms are nice and ensuite relatively clean. The only thing is the room are very cold (you have to go to reception to get a blanket/remote for A/C) and don’t come with a curtain - I would suggest a female only room rather than mixed. The area also isn’t the best, I didn’t feel super safe and refrained from walking outside when it got dark. I met some lovely people here though

Hotel was great overall, especially for that price. I had an issue at first because they couldn't confirm that my booking was paid, only after Trip.com interfered they got it, but other than that it was all good.
I chose this hotel because it was conveniently located just a two-minute walk from the meeting point for the Meteora bus tour. Although we ended up arriving 30 minutes later than planned, I was glad we were able to return to the hotel promptly. Since I sometimes can't get home before restaurant hours, it would have been nice to have an electric kettle in the room. However, the front desk refused to...
I was able to stay in Athens at a reasonable price. There's a supermarket nearby, and a few restaurants scattered around as well. The photo is of something I ate at a nearby restaurant.
Not sure what more you could expect for the money. Exceptionally comfortable bed, the two bed suite was spacious, the half board package was unbelievable value (particularly with the stellar views from the top floor restaurant) and the location was very convenient. A two minute walk from Athens (Larissa) station means you can get a train or metro from the airport, and when you're here it's just over...
Clean, well-kept hotel conveniently located near the central station. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and the staff were genuinely helpful throughout my stay. I didn’t try the restaurant, but the menu looked substantial and the prices were very reasonable. Overall, a solid and comfortable stay—highly recommended.
Very conveniently placed hotel near larrisa station. We chose this because we have early morning bus to catch for meteora trip. We booked 1 bhk for two nights which was not in the main hotel building shown in the photos but you have to walk 2 buildings on the same lane. Had a great time staying in this hotel whilst visiting Greece to watch Scotland. The hotel is in a bit of a quirky area and surrounded by interesting markets. I read previous reviews on different platforms before booking this hotel for a 2 night stay. I do wonder if I am in a parallel universe to other reviewers. I had a room on the fifth floor facing the markets. The hotel has placed lighting all round...
Great location and super friendly staff! The room was very clean and the view of Acropolis and half of Athens was incredible (we stayed on the 8th floor). My first impression when I checked into the hotel was that the room was absolutely lovely, exactly as described on the booking website. The room was blue with a white base, and just being able to stay there made me feel like I was in Greece! Although I didn't have many good memories of the actual sightseeing, the hotel was great. The elevator might be a bit of a shock at first.
This is a budget-friendly hotel. Of course, it won't stack up against luxury hotels. But if you're not looking to spend a fortune on accommodation, it's definitely a solid option. What's more, since leaving Athens, I haven't been so fortunate with my accommodation finds. For the same price, would you rather squeeze into a dorm room at a youth hostel or enjoy your own private space? Having this kind...

Room clean enough, no contact with any staff to comment. Livingroom sofa bed uncomfortable for sleeping on. Location great
Staff were great. The quality of the apartment was excellent. We have been in the same apartment in 2023. We can say that the quality has been maintained during this period. Unfortunately, the quality of the mattress in the bedroom was questionable. It was abnormally soft. Even if it's good quality, it needs to be replaced. Overall everything was excellent.

The only bright spot is that you can see the temple from the top floor. No one cleaned the room the next day. I wonder if I need to apply for it? The bathroom and bathing area is higher than the ground, and the whole bathroom leaks when I take a shower.

The hotel is ideally located in centre of Athens. I was there on business but is also perfect for holiday trip. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Room was comfortable and while I was on street side it was not too noisy and I slept well. Plus for me is vegan restaurant on ground floor which is also where breakfast is served. I enjoyed the scrambled tofu.
Very nice hotel, good breakfast, located in a lively neighborhood with tons of good restaurants and bars nearby
For this price and size, I really don't want to say anything. The key point is that it is very noisy, which is a nightmare for people who have trouble sleeping. The air freshener sprayed in the room can make people dizzy. The pillows are not comfortable and they collapse when you lie down. The quilt is also a bit thin
Wonderful experience at Niki Athens. Location, location, location- All I can say is WOW! But really what made this particular boutique hotel special was the amazing staff who went above and beyond every single day and were such a delight to work with, especially Angel and Stavroula. Couldn't ask for better, more tuned in attention. Loved my time there.
