The hotel lobby is spacious. Restaurant has decent food. They offer airport transportation shuttle service. There’s a gas station/cafe right cross the parking lot that sells food & snacks which much cheaper than the hotel. The king room standard I selected was very spacious. The bathroom was a decent size as well. Overall I recommend this hotel & I would stay here again.

Very clean and excellent hotel. Staff at the front were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good with a generous variety of food. Glad they had a shuttle service to and from hotel/airport, huge plus! Be mindful the bus from airport to hotel runs hourly and on time. Fortunately we were able to flag the bus driver and he stopped to let us get on last minute! Highly recommend this hotel!

Very pleased with everything. Have stayed several times. Shuttle is a really good added service especially when transitioning between the airport for flights that don't connect on the same day. Would definitely recommend to other travellers.

We compliment the hotel and their staff.  We were greeted more warmly than I think I've ever been greeted before! Over the phone, everyone was ready to help instantly.  Our room was impeccable. This isn't my first time staying here, and I really like it. The only downside is that you have to walk up the stairs with your suitcases to get to the reception area, and you also have to carry your suitcases up the stairs when leaving the hotel.

The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the Acropolis and has a restaurant with a pretty decent view. The elevator is slow and small, the rooms are tiny, and soundproofing is poor. The value for money is just okay.

The facilities and services were good, but I booked two days first, and then my wife booked two more days in the same type of room. The hotel is nice, the breakfast is good, it's close to the subway station, and the rooms are spacious. The only downside is that the single room bed is made up of two single beds pushed together, which wasn't very comfortable.

The room we were assigned was extremely noisy, as it faced the interior of the hotel, and due to the presence of the air conditioning motors, it was impossible to sleep for both nights. It was a real nightmare; it's inconceivable that a 5-star hotel would allow something like this. We reported the problem to the front desk, and they were well aware of it.

Wonderful hotel with plenty of entertainment around the restaurant, bar, and open-air cinema! We had dinner at the hotel restaurant in the evening. It was delicious, and the view of the Acropolis was stunning. The people were super friendly, and everything was absolutely perfect. Highly recommended if you're staying in Athens.

Location is nice in close to Athens center and on the beach, not the nicest (Voula, voullagmeni) the road in front of the hotel is very busy. Good service from start to finish. Good engilish speak staff, complementary breakfast was very good and was stock well. The only minus point is the lack of soundproofing between rooms. It wasn't an issue for me but the hotel wasn't that busy. But you could hear people talking, not shouting, in the adjoining room. I didn't lose any sleep, hence the high star rating.

In terms of accommodation alone, it's excellent value for money, the most affordable option in downtown Athens, and the rooms aren't particularly small. The problem is, the hotel is located in one of Athens' most chaotic squares; outside the hotel are all sorts of strange people, and I even encountered a pickpocket. Breakfast was at the bar, but seating was limited, so I had to sit at the counter....

Hotel was good . Breakfast was ok . The only thing we paid tax 30 pounds and when we get there they charged again 30 euros for tax . They didn’t let us in till they get the money but I called agent and they said you should not pay extra money.they are scammers.

I booked this hotel because it was very affordable, but honestly it doesn’t feel like a real 4-star hotel. The area around it is not very nice and feels a bit run-down, which makes the location less appealing. That said, the hotel itself was clean, and that was a positive point. Overall, if you’re just looking for a budget option to spend the night, it works, but don’t expect a true 4-star experience

It reminded me of a Motel 6. It was a bed and a bathroom with a broken chair at the desk. You cannot take a shower without getting the whole bathroom wet and the toilet is up against the side wall.

We got to the hotel early and the front desk accommodated my husband and I by allowing us to check in early so we can rest. The hotel is near the cruise terminals which was also convenient. Overall, we had a great stay before our cruise.

One night before getting our rental boat for a week in the Greek archipelago, we stayed at hotel tropical. Clean and well organised hotel. We’re happy to stay there close to the beach and to restaurants with nice menues.

I don't like to leave negative reviews, and I really wanted to like this place. The location is a bit out of the way, but the view is nice. I was surprised by the small ooms. The beds are tiny, they felt kid sized. The walls are thin and you can hear every noise in the hallway. It was enough to keep me up for a while. Ear plugs let me sleep. The location is good, very close to the beach. The facilities are very poor, like a hotel in China from the 1990s. Because it's very noisy on the side of the road, and the roar of large-displacement motorcycles at night is deafening! ! !

The location of the house is very good. It is on the street of Glyfada. The beach is just across the road and you can go swimming. It is also close to the commercial street and it is very convenient to buy food and go shopping. The hotel customer service Christina and Julia are warm and thoughtful. I will choose this place again next time I go there.

The room was spotless, a good size, with good facilities. The hotel is really well looked after and the staff were fantastic. The hotel would not give me my Marriott points and may have the slowest elevator on the planet. The room was a bit small but managable. The shower was rain-style. Excellent hotel with very helpful staff, well appointed rooms. Well equipped gym and a Michelin star restaurant. We were upgraded to a suite with balcony which looked out into the main square. Though we were in the busy area, the pario doors insulate against the traffic noise and it was quiet inside.

My son and I recently stayed at Candia Hotel in Athens. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were nice, quiet and clean. The location was handy to the metro and the rooftop has a spectacular 360 degree view of Athens including the Parthenon.
