A very good hotel in a very good position, close to the center and close to the main line of the metro.

The staff were extremely welcoming. This was our first time out of our country internationally on our own so we were very nervous about how to get around ect, the staff answered any questions we had, at any hour of the night the staff would be present at the front desk always smiling and eager to assist. We loved this stay at COCO MAT :)

Great find, excellent location and super friendly staff. Onluvdrawback wa sour room did not have a dresser but we managed OK. If in Greece we are coming back.

Very near the center of Piraeus and its port. Knowledgeable and efficient staff, clean and more than adequately equipped room, big balcony with chairs and table, free parking, easy to find. At both sides of the double bed there are electricity outlets, a big wardrobe, a small refrigerator and good internet. The small size of the shower is not a problem, but it does not have glass doors, only a curtain

Very convenient location if catching ferries the next morning, clean and reasonably comfortable rooms, and great service at the front desk. Price is very reasonable as well.

It's very close to the port, making it a convenient place to stay if you're taking a ferry. There are also large supermarkets nearby, making shopping convenient. This is an older hotel, but the amenities are still there and the cleanliness is acceptable; however, there's no kettle. The room isn't too small, but the shower is quite small. For a one-night stay, it's a good value for money.

Lovely hotel which we really enjoyed. Great breakfast.. Only downside was the road noise which is loud with idiots racing but at all hours. Pool closed until 11am was an odd one too when it was high 30s even at 0900 which is when it would have been good to have a swim.

It’s a bit out of the way of restaurants and shops, but it’s just a short walk along the promenade to get to them. Rooms could do with a bit more maintenance, but they were clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

As most of the Hotels in Athens the one close to the see offer less for the price. I found the personal friendly and the hotel was in a nice position in front of the see. Nice pool, great staff. Very nice view from rooftop room. Be mindful that the area in general has severe construction going on, to one site of the hotel. It isn't noisy though and doesn't affect the beach onwards.

Very convenient location, easy walking distance to all of Athens main sites. On a quiet side street (many in Athens complain about noise in rooms), good soundproofing of room. The hotel is a bit old and the facilities are relatively old. The old man at the front desk is very enthusiastic and very happy to share local travel suggestions. You can chat more to get relevant information. The elevator is old and not very comfortable.

It is very close to the Acropolis Museum, Acropolis and other attractions, and is also close to the subway. The hotel is quiet and clean, with rich breakfast. There are fruit shops and small shops nearby. The front desk reception service is good and overall satisfactory.

Great location, literally a step away from Acropolis. The MVP is the AM shift manager, was nice enough to give me the room as soon as possible which was a lifesaver after a 12hr red eye flight. The breakfast was good too. The only thing is the rooms are quite dated.

Had a wonderful day, and the location was super convenient. My only wish would be for a wider breakfast selection. It's right by the subway and close to the main street, and you can even walk to the Acropolis.

Absolutely fabulous hotel and the workers couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating! Literally did everything they could to make our stay perfect. The bar was great and a lot of fun and the made to order breakfast was on point. When coming back to Athens, I will be staying here.

Last year's Christmas at Civitel was dreamy! Clean and beautiful rooms, pleasant staff and great buffets! Very close to "The mall", where you can even go on foot. Not a bad budget hotel - it is supposed to be 4-star but i would call it more in line with a 3-star hotel! Service is good enough but a lot of issues in the room and restaurant. It's the first time that i have seen an open plan shower in the bedroom area (and just opposite the bed)!! Our 4-day stay at Life Gallery Athens truly felt like living in luxury. The food was fantastic—special mention to the African chef who prepared the most amazing dish of black “forbidden” rice with salmon. Good service from start to finish. Good engilish speak staff, complementary breakfast was very good and was stock well. The only minus point is the lack of soundproofing between rooms. It wasn't an issue for me but the hotel wasn't that busy. But you could hear people talking, not shouting, in the adjoining room. I didn't lose any sleep, hence the high star rating.

I was there as a videographer of a tech business conference, not a guest in the room. The staff is friendly and nice, their support was top notch. Great roof top restaurant and a bar with an amazing view. The conference hall is also good and equipped.

I stayed here recently and the main issue is that it simply doesn’t offer good value for money. There are much better and cheaper options in Athens. The biggest problem was the beds. Hostel is a good low cost (for central Athens) “no frills” place to stay in an ideal location in Monastiraki.

You need to repared your own towel, shampoo and shower gel. The place is average, not that bad. The shower room in my bedroom is quite small. You can hear all the noises from the hallway in my room. Hostel located in the city which is a good location.

Great value for money, daily room cleaning is quite good, even around environment have been widely complained, but it’s okay for the people who don’t carry heavy luggage. A few steps can arrive some very traditional street food bars. And don’t expect much for the roof view lol
