Generaly we enjoyed our stay in DuLac and Agios Nikolaos.We had a room on the lake side wich was simple, clean and nice with a incrediblle view with the only disadvantage being the bathroom wich was small, We felt that the price we paid was appropriate for the quality of the room. The reception lady was nice, kind and helpfull even though she said it was her 3rd or 4th week at the job, but her colleague with visible face tattos and dressing code that is not sutable not only in a hotel but any job in our opinion, made us a negative impresion.He appeared distracted, spending time on his phone sitting in the lobby couch with his feet on the table, which made it difficult to receive assistance (or asking for assistance when you see behaviour like that). Our overall experience in the hotel and in city of Agios nikolaos was nice it seems like a beatiful place wich has a lot to offer.

I stayed 4 nights and it was my first time in Crete, enjoying the sights and also visiting family who had recently moved to the area. The room was very spacious with a large balcony and a side view of the lake. There is also a nice lounge and terrace overlooking the lake and the seafront is 2mns away. Price was very reasonable for late May. Will definitely book again for my next visit!

I had a wonderful time staying at this hotel, the room had a beautiful view looking out onto the lake, the bed was extremely comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. I found my whole stay very relaxing and will definitely stay here again when I come back to Agios Nikolaos

We were there for Easter Celebration. A perfect beautiful view to capture all the festivities of the Easter celebration. A quaint village with wonderful restaurants and pleasant people

I stayed here for 3 nights in a studio with a city view. Room was nice, clean and spacious with a kitchenette and ensuite bathroom. The hotel is literally next to the lake. I also had a balcony overlooking one of the main streets and I could see the lake from my balcony. I thought I booked a double bed as I was travelling alone, but I was given two twin beds but that didn't matter as I simply pushed the two twin beds together. Breakfast wasn't included in my reservation but the hotel is very centrally located close to the lake, with plenty of restaurants and bars, so there were plenty of places to eat. Overall, good hotel within very easy access to the centre and lake.

A decent enough budget hotel. I only came for one night, so didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel. The room was a simple room - comfortable and clean and no problems. There's facility to make a tea or coffee, and a fridge and TV, and a small balcony. I didn't check the wifi so can't comment. The reception seemed friendly although a colleague (who speaks the language) did the actual checking in and out. It's only small and (when we were there - out of season) - no breakfast, but the cafe immediately next door does and is a pleasant start to the day. The location in the middle of the town is great for being in the centre, but parking is just a free-for-all on the streets surrounding, and the streets are narrow, so it's not really ideal if you have a hire car. I'd be happy enough to stay here again. However I'm sure there are other good hotels here too.

Room big and clean with small but functional kitchen. The cheaper rooms don't have double beds, just twin beds. We were on the 2nd floor on a Friday night and it wass incredibly noisy until 2 AM. Wifi didn't work at first but was cured when the receptionist re-started it.

Found ourselves in Agios Nikolaos for the night and needed somewhere to stay, contacted Du Lac and they only available room was a triple with lake view, however the receptionist only charged us the double room rate. No frills hotel but still one of the best '2 star' hotels I've stayed in. Room nice and bright, clean and with a fridge and coffee making facilities, smallish bathroom and shower but again, very clean. The private balcony overlooking the lake was a great addition, sitting there after dinner watching the world go by with a night cap was good, the geese on the lake were a little noisy but they soon settled down and once the patio door was closed they were barely audible. Would definitely stay here again, might be a 'budget' hotel but it fit the bill perfectly and I could quite happily stay one night or several here.
