Great location, nice staff - they were pleasant but not always overly helpful with suggestions of restaurants, etc. Clean and serviced regularly. With windows closed and AC on it actually kept a fair amount of the bust Chania town noises out, BUT I did find that I heard a fair amount of the interior noises (doors, locks, voices, etc) Good value, breakfast was decent enough, fantastic location, small...
The best location u can choose in the old port of Chania. The hotel is a 2 star hotel, so the rooms were old, still very comfortable. The staff were super nice and welcoming. Couldnt have choosen better
Excellent location step out the center . With all the restaurant and shops and Very clean . Gorgeous views if you got sea view room. Very kind and accommodate frond desk . . Reasonable price . Will coming back for sure

Great hotel. Lovely staff. Most conveniently located.
The property was simple but very clean. The front desk staff were kind and very helpful. The hotel is located near all the great restaurants and shops. The breakfast was outstanding. I would recommend the hotel.
Overall I liked this hotel , it is basic accommodation but clean and in a great area close to the central bus station. There is no restaurant and the walk to old town is 15 minutes, however breakfast is provided . Staff were friendly and helpful with directions, also recommended places to dine.
Great hotel. It was super clean and the employees were all fantastic & very friendly. Helpful too. The included breakfast had a lot of variety for all diets. Great location, it's across the street from the main bus station & taxis are nearby too. Lots of dining options for locals around the area, which I love. I'd say this hotel was a huge value. I would stay here again.
The hotel is clean and comfortable. Reasonably quiet. A good breakfast is provided (included in the price). The location is a short walk from the Old Town / Harbour. The only issue I had was trying to find somewhere to park (not the Hotel's fault) - I succeeded in the end but had to drive around a bit.
The hotel was clean, comfortable and safe. Staff were very efficient, polite and friendly. Location was perfect for us, as it was near the main bus station and our bus to/from the airport. Hence, it was a busy and bustling location but none of the noise could be heard from within the hotel room. Our hotel room had a balcony with distant views of the mountains and sea. Easy walking access to the harbour...
Central, near the bus station and everything, really, as Chania is not a large city. Very wide variety of breakfast choices including cooked items, cheeses, yoghurt, breads and jams, cereals, juices, pastries, different kinds of tea. I got a good night's sleep. Kettle provided, mineral water in the mini bar, balcony with small table and chairs overlooking the street. View of the White Mountains covered...

Lovley location on the beach and very friendly. Great value 😍
Very friendly reception staff, comfy bef
Stayed only one night, it was a very nice and comfortable stay
Very Good This place was had one of the best beach views i ever seen, its easy for walking around and explore resturants. Its avery cozy enviroment. Food is great and so are the prices for food and drinks. The hotel did not have a kettel in the rooms or even tea or coffe in the rooms, Bathroom was good. Bed was ok but should have a little bigger madress. Staff working there wer very kind and service...
During my recent stay at Hotel Danaos, I was charmed by its perfect beachfront location—just steps from Nea Chora Beach, and within a leisurely 15‑minute walk along the sea to Chania’s historic Venetian harbour and downtown . The stunning sea views from the balconies were the ideal backdrop to sip morning coffee or unwind at sunset. The hotel offers great value for money with clean, well‑equipped...

Crete has two main cities: Heraklion, the cradle of Western civilization, and Chania (also known as Chania), a city repeatedly invaded by other empires. Since our next destination was Santorini by boat from Crete, which could only depart from Heraklion port, we opted to take a boat from Athens to Chania first, and then a bus from Chania to Heraklion. Considering we'd be traveling by bus for the next...
15 to 20 minute walks to restaurants and beach make it a good destination spot.
Very good hotel with comfortable bads and close to city center.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Lena was so genuinely happy to help with suggestions and tips each day. The room was spacious, the breakfasts were delicious and the view was stunning.
It is so a lovely place and Lena is so amazing. Heartly welcome, beautyful rooms with a personal view of Details. We will come back if we can. Thanks a lot
We really enjoyed our stay at Akrotiri - it’s clean, comfortable, breakfast was very good but the real star is the hostess Lena - so kind, generous and considerate.
Great location, very friendly and helpful host.Breakfast was delicious too. I will definitely come back!
Lena and Ilias gave the most warm welcome! The hotel was so quaint and beautiful views. So close to the old town and very amazing breakfast! Definitely would recommend for anyone but especially first timers they gave us so much insight on the island and even gave us a ride from the airport and to a beach club:)
Very good! Lovely view This was perfect for us for one night. The host is really welcoming and so friendly. I loved the breakfast that was included, were Greek traditional food. The rooms were big with a big terrace and a lovely view. We really want to come back here

We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at this lovely hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our experience feel special and personalized. This is a truly guest-friendly establishment, beautiful and very well located. Close to Chania and the beaches, quiet. The staff are extremely attentive and caring. Ideal for a family or couple. We'll be back in a heartbeat.
Beautiful and recently renovated hotel near Chania. It is a bit outside the city, but near beaches and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and modern. All the staff are so nice and welcoming. Good pool and the little private parking. It was a perfect stay and definitely recommended!
We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff is great, welcoming, friendly and thoughtful. Our rooms were made up properly and whenever we needed something it was provided almost instantly. The pool (bar) area was nice and relaxing. Can recommend the Icarus Breakfast. Location is great. Buses stop in front of hotel towards Chania center. Supermarkets nearby and nice places for dinner too. Cheers!
Modern design, pretty clean. Friendly staff, nice pool, the hotel is small and not crowdy. The towels wasn’t changed, also during our stay , they haven’t availAble pool towels. Good location, 5 minutes from a perfect beach. Available parking Generally we had a nice stay and would recommend it

Booked this hotel due to a delayed flight until the next day and wanted a double and a twin comfortable room for an unexpected overnight stay. Price was very good but was more interested in being close to Chania front which is was. The owners were very welcoming when we arrived and the rooms were comfortable. After going out to dinner we returned and the owners offered us Raki which we had to turn...
It is a small hotel that provides a convenient place to stay in Chania.
The best reception ever, we checked in at the reception (2 hours before check-in time) then we were offered delicious tapas with "raki" the local liquor. The people were so hospitable! A great room close to a swimming beach and around the corner from the center. Highly recommended!
After a wonderful stay in Rethymno, we moved to Chania; the Filoxenia hotel is in a fantastic location, just outside the chaos of the Venetian port and the old town but reachable in a few minutes, but still has many bars and restaurants in the street in front so you don't have to move to have dinner if you don't feel like it. The hotel is quite new, nice, the room comfortable, nothing special, but...
a small renovated family hotel. The room is big + with a balcony where one can smoke. The hosts are very kind and helpful. excellent location within walking distance to the old city. The only complain is that the hotel is too expensive. We paid 326.88 € for 3 nights additional 9€ per person for breakfast. You can eat nearby for 6 -7 €. a small bathroom ' no conditional, no body lotion , no tissue...
Very lovely hotel just 50 meters from beach, where you can swim, and close to Venetian old por. Owner Nikos is gentleman of old school, he does his best to make you feel welcome. Thank you Sir Nikos to organize a renting car for us. Cause of location and host I recommend this hotel to everyone.

The hotel is located at the top of a hill with wonderful views of the ocean, beaches, Chania and the mountains. It is quiet and not too big so the service felt very personal. An extra bed for our kid was provided...
The hotel is very clean, staff is friendly and the view is nice, we had partial seaview. The restaurant is very good, highly recommend vegetarian moussaka and prawns. We enjoy walking, thus the location was perfect, for us everything was easily accessible even without car.
I spent 4 nights here at start and end of my holiday and enjoyed my stay. Friendly, welcoming staff. My rooms were good, spacious, very clean, very comfortable king size bed with firm mattress. With outside balcony. Very quiet except for the occasional late night noise from (inconsiderate) guests returning and banging doors. Excellent buffet breakfast, all you can eat. A lovely small hotel with the nicest of staff, everyone so helpful and happy it was a pleasure. The room was good, we would have liked a bath but the shower was good. We absolutely loved our long weekend at Hotel Ideon. It was in a fantastic location, close to the beach and only a 15 minute walk along to front to Chania Harbour. Excellent location walking distance and close to old town and beach area. Parking near hotel is street only and challenging
We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is very close to the old town (less than 10 minute walk), but far enough that it’s quiet during the evening. The family run hotel was very welcoming. Would definitely recommend!
I was seven nights at this hotel, and it was the best vacation of my life. The room I stayed in was not only beautifully decorated but also impeccably clean. Friendly staff and great service. The room is a bit noisy and the mattress isn't very comfy for my wife. The room had a balcony facing the water, nice view. Breakfast was good.
Familiar hotel. Amazing place. Excellent room with sea view!!! I loved the breakfast!!! Cleaning and amenities, perfect!! I don’t understand why this place has only 2 stars as for me it was 5 🌟
Nice low key family run hotel. Next to n beach. Some room have large balconies with sea view. Welcoming service (even at 2 AM). Good breakfast. Stayed 2 night in September.
Very good place.. You can see the sea from the balcony. The bathroom has a window, it's very good, instead of a noisy air purifier. Breakfast is good, bread is better than other places'. Fruits every day. One thing I didn't like is that people can smoke ob the terrace at breakfast time.
Stayed here for a couple of nights, modest but clean rooms, staff is nice and friendly, the location is perfect, just a few steps from the beach literally and comfy to get to the city centre by walking. A very friendly hotel. Clean rooms with a balcony. Very nice service. The rooms are cleaned daily. The hotel offers a free parasol for one room, and mattresses for swimming. Great complex not far from the beach and Chania. The rooms were clean and it was cleaned thoroughly every day. The French-speaking hostess is really super nice, but communication is a bit difficult if you don't speak French or Greek. From the hotel we give 5 stars. We were supposed to stop here for two nights. We had chosen this place for its strategic location as it would be the last stop before returning home from Chania airport. It's a pity that: 1. We had booked a basement accommodation and, as soon as we entered, we realized its limitations (damp and with...
Very nice and helpful owners! Cleaning lady is super kind and she clears rooms everyday. Overall the whole hotel is really clean one and I think that's the most important thing. It is situated close to the beach, it's not that beautiful but it is nice. It's also a 100m from bus stop, so it is extremely easy to get to to neighbouring cities. I really enjoyed my stay here. Private attached bathroom, and a separate toilet, with toiletries, and towels. Location is very central. The feel is more of a 5 star hotel, than a hostel! I don't need to say much. Just take a look at all the pictures I have taken the photos. Its without any edit. See them for yourself.
Great location, in the core position of Chania. The amenities are new and clean, and the room is tidy. Maybe it’s off season so I haven’t seen any staff either check in nor check out, but it’s not bad for me.
Very clean, spacious kitchen with enough of refrigerator space, no phone/personal item organization shelf or hanging closets around the bed space. I like the vibe of this place, dont really like staying in hostels but in this one even for several days, went there several times over the last few years. Its located in really nice neighborhood, not far from city center and girls who work there are always polite and ready to help, they can give you tips about everything regarding local attractions. Its always fairly clean as well.
We booked a double standard room with was stunning! The interior decoration as well as the exterior, we’re just beautiful! The room was really clean! I was expecting a hostel but it’s not a hostel! It’s a really nice boutique hotel with minimal decoration and amazing amenities! I’d definitely visit it again! Thank you
Amazing experience! Great place, in a great town, in a great island! So happy to choose you guys, the staff are the best! Thanks and I hope you all the best!!
The hotel is super nice and the staff is friendly and helpful. Only downside of the stay were the bathrooms, they are not divided by gender and the showers are way too little considering you must take everything with you. But that would be the only thing to improve, the hotel is beautiful and you will have for sure a great time here!
Great cozy hostel, 10min walk from the city centre. Newly refurbished, clean and super friendly staff. And also cheap - what else?:)
