I’m reluctant to leave a fabulous review as everyone will want to go there! It was our 4th visit to the hotel & it never fails to deliver on excellence, the staff are amazingly friendly & professional, nothing is too much trouble for them. All in all, a good hotel, although quite expensive. Breakfast was served in a paper bag, with only three options to choose from (which we weren't given anyway), and it was carbohydrate-heavy, not bad in itself, but monotonous. Breakfast was fabulous. I had room 7 with balcony view, only 8 rooms on property. Be aware that Old Town Chania is pedestrian only, so must carry your own luggage for about 10 minutes on cobblestones. There is no elevator, upon checkin there is staff to carry luggage upstairs, but no one to assist upon checkout.

We only stayed one night. They let us store our luggage when we arrived early in the morning. The location is stellar, in the old town. But there was no parking, so we parked 15 minutes away and had to walk in with our luggage. Our room was large and clean.

Had a top floor room with a view to die for, close to the harbour quite rustic with modern bathroom. Booking direct was easy with assistance / advice on parking and an early check in, rapid response to a few emails. Warned prior that there was no lift but had assistance with bags etc. Service wise, for our stay of a couple of nights George was a mine of information and assistance, very much appreciated

Checkin ends at 9:30 pm but the owner waited for us until 12:30 am and met us at the end of the block to lead us to the hotel because access was a little confusing. A small hotel with just a few rooms and no front desk. You get the key to the front door to open it up when you return. No elevator. But it was clean and cozy and had a teensy balcony over the little street below.
