Very nice hotel, clean, with big rooms. Room service is great, every day they refill our coffees. We can ask them to refill our water containers, thus saving plastic bottles. The staff is amazing, always smiling and nice
I’m reluctant to leave a fabulous review as everyone will want to go there! It was our 4th visit to the hotel & it never fails to deliver on excellence, the staff are amazingly friendly & professional, nothing is too much trouble for them
From beginning to end our stay was truly amazing
The staff especially Maria and Nikos on reception were so so friendly and helpful
Gorjuss hotel fantastic complimentary mini bus into town And back

The hotel is in a very scenic location, within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The number 21 bus calls directly at the hotel to take you to Chania. The service is regular and good value
The rooms need updating to a degree but are clean and have the facilities you would expect. A refresh would take the hotel to a next level. The staff were all very nice and efficient
You absolutely must book this hotel for the unforgettable panorama and the exceptionally friendly staff, who truly go above and beyond to make your stay fantastic! We stayed in a Panorama Blue room, which also gave us access to the bar and the second swimming pool
The hotel had a lovely relaxed feel to it and meal times were all the better for this. The food was of a high quality and varied through the week we stayed. The quality and variety of meat dishes in particular was noted
We traveled in October, so it was relatively quiet. The breakfast was excellent, and dinner was buffet-style. Not everything was perfect, but there was plenty of choice
There's a convenient bus connection to Chania from the hotel, and the value for money is definitely recommended!

View from upper floor of the old city is stunning. Located just 5min walk from the old port which offers many restaurants and tourists shops.
Very nice breakfast with many options. Valet parking is a big plus.
She is amazing at everything she does. I really appreciate her welcoming attitude. I have never been more welcomed at any other location. Being an outsider I really appreciate being involved in her day to day
I highly recommend that if you are coming to Crete that you look her up. Another amazing worker is Katerina. She was great to interact with. Her upbeat attitude was amazing. I really appreciate all of the staff at Kydon
The room was clean and the service was excellent in all areas. We will come back again and definitely we recommend this hotel to people to enjoy this beautiful hotel in the heart of the city
The only thing worthy of improvement is that the tissue paper is placed under the washbasin and cannot be found without looking carefully. It is recommended to simply place it on the table in the room
We were staying four nights at this hotel. The view from our big balcony was amazing. Near to everything in old town. People were all friendly and polite, full of professionalism

We went to this hotel because of the view and the sauna - and we got so positively suprised! The sea view is spectacular, just outside the window. 🌊💫the breakfast amazing with options à la varte
Good location if you’re looking for somewhere slightly out of town, a little quieter. Only a 20ish minute walk into old town
Absolutely incredible!!! The staff were amazing, it was super new and clean. The architecture was great and the breakfast was the highlight for us.
Everything was incredible from the moment we arrived. Early check in was available, the team arranged parking for our car
Incredible experience in this lovely hotel in Chania. Everything was perfect, from the service to the restaurant.
The people working there was very friendly also. Thanks a lot and hope to be back! 💞

Staff are so friendly and helpful. Good breakfast which we enjoyed sat outside in the beautiful garden. Room was also beautiful , cleaned to high standard
Beautiful location next to the sea. Clean rooms with air condition and mini bar. Free parking behind the hotel. Breakfast was ok.
The room was indeed spotless and the staff supportive and courteous. The helped with arrangements for local travel and airport transfers seamlessly.
Friendly staff, great location, good breakfast buffet. Would recommend.
The location is ideal: the hotel is in a quiet neighborhood but still close to the Old Town and the main attractions. Having secure parking was a big plus, especially since I rented a car directly through the hotel
The building itself is beautifully maintained, and the atmosphere inside feels warm, welcoming, and truly relaxing. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional—always ready to assist with a smile

The location is excellent and travel is very convenient. The bus station is within a 3-minute walk. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean. But the rooms facing the street are a bit noisy
A very nice hotel with a good location, great value for money, and decent service. It's only 500 meters from the lighthouse and the old town.

Perfectly located hotel for a Chania City experience. Beside a great café and walking distance to the port and bus station. A very nice breakfast as part of the stay as well.
The hotel was well located. The staff were charming and helpful and the room was simple, but clean and comfortable.

Georgio in particular became the face of the hotel, always smiling, friendly and familiar, what one wants and needs first thing in a very early morning, and last thing after a long day!
Overall the hotel was truly exceptional! Clean with all the amenities you would want and expect whether traveling for business or on vacation
The location was great - nearly in the middle of Chania and within walking distance of the old town and the port. The service was great, with the staff really trying to be very helpful
Breakfast was great with lots of choice. Parking was interesting tho, but the staff helped heaps to ensure that we could arrive and leave without too much fuss. The rooms were quite roomy and the beds comfy
We stayed at Samaria Hotel for four nights as a couple with a toddler, and the experience was simply wonderful. The hotel is charming with a perfect location, everything is spotless and sparkling clean
Brilliant hotel, located so close to the old town and harbour but just those few steps away so it feels calm and quiet
The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, making the stay very comfortable. Breakfast is amazing, generous, and delicious. Above all, the staff are exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and warm

We had a wonderful stay here! The location is absolutely fantastic—just a few minutes’ walk to a beautiful beach, and the hotel itself is right on the ocean, so the views and atmosphere are amazing
There’s also a really nice on‑site restaurant, along with other nearby restaurants. The room was a bit outdated, but it was clean and comfortable, and we really appreciated having a small kitchen
We arrived end of season with a baby and child. The weather was amazing (some days a little windy)- but due to the hotels great location we could walk to the beach within 3-4 mins or take the bus to Chania
Overall, the value for the price was excellent. Between the location, the service, and the amenities, this place exceeded our expectations. We’d happily stay here again!
Had a lovely stay at Corinna Mare. The location was ideal, with great views of the sea and good transport links to both Chania town and beaches
The private beach is much nicer than the photos, perfect for snorkelling, the two pools are great and all the amenities kept in great condition. It’s probably the best hotel anywhere near this price, fully recommend!

Very good city location by walking distance to the Port, Bazaar (Central) and short driving distance to the Hanya Beaches. Excellent and very warm hospitality! Good room with good-brand almost new furnished bathroom
The view of the hotel pool from our balcony. The staff is extremly friendly (and funny), the hotel looks very good, the breakfast buffet has a big variation of products
The staff at the hotel were warm and welcoming, friendly, helpful and made our holiday better!
Very special thanks to Michael, Vassilis and Alexandros from F&B Team and Anastasia from the Reception for their utmost kind and smiley care on all
Very expensive for what you get, rooms are adequate at best, pool is small, surrounding area to pool is tight, breakfast was good however. Location is OK, 10-15 mins into old town harbour.
This hotel was a lovely hotel, very clean and nice rooms. It was in a great location with easy access to the old town as well as the beaches. The staff were kind and welcoming and the food was nice for breakfast

Room was comfortable and clean and the bathroom facilities were excellent. Staff are very friendly and the breakfast is highly recommended for €10. Perfect location on the port, close to all local restaurants and bars
I was very grateful for their kindness and the ease of communication (I used email)
This is a wonderful small hotel in the heart of Chania old town. If you choose a room with a sea view you are rewarded with a wonderful view of the Venetian Harbour
There is no dining room which means a delightful breakfast is brought to your room at a time of your choosing with different things served each day
I realised after I had left that I had not taken my coat out of the cupboard but they kept it safe for me until I could collect 4 days later
We were lucky enough to have a roof top patio with shade as part of our suite

Would recommend to any and all
Kasteli Suites was perfectly located right near the port of chania. It was an easy 2-4 minutes walking before you were downtown
Lovely clean room with a nice patio. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Nice patio space. Great location by the port and archeological sites.
Great location as it is just 5 min walk to the harbor with restaurants and shops. If we plan to go back we’ll definitely stay here again
Perfect location. Alex, who served us, was super kind and helped us with everything. The facilities were very good.
The room and location are very quiet! Even had a fridge stocked with wine, beer, water, and sodas for us

The location is also very good. Even though it's not located into the Old City you are only 5 minutes from the Old Harbour. Very nice breakfast, the ladies are very kind. Parking your car around is the only weak point
Great hotel. Lovely staff. Most conveniently located.
The property was simple but very clean. The front desk staff were kind and very helpful. The hotel is located near all the great restaurants and shops. The breakfast was outstanding. I would recommend the hotel.
It was super clean and the employees were all fantastic & very friendly. The included breakfast had a lot of variety for all diets. Great location, it's across the street from the main bus station & taxis are nearby too
The hotel is clean and comfortable. A good breakfast is provided (included in the price). The location is a short walk from the Old Town / Harbour

Great location in the heart of Chania. Clean and spacious room with large balcony, staff very friendly and helpful.

I had a great stay at this hotel. Very clean and spacious room with a nice balcony. The reception was always friendly and adapted very well to my requests. I can definitely recommend this place to stay in Chania!
A wonderful overnight stay at this hotel. I had just been discharged from the local hospital and booked this hotel very late at night and arrived approximately 10pm. Situated in a lovely street in Chania

Friendly staff, clean hotel, great location and fair price
We absolutely loved our long weekend at Hotel Ideon. It was in a fantastic location, close to the beach and only a 15 minute walk along to front to Chania Harbour
If you want a nice place to sleep and convenient location then this is perfect. If you want an all inclusive with a pool then this isn’t for you. For us it was perfect and we would love to return
The hotel itself was tucked down a quiet street and the lobby was bright and modern. We spoke the owners a few times (not just at check-in) and they were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area
Our room was absolutely spotless and bigger than expected- the small balcony was a bonus. The bathroom was just as clean as the bedroom and the shower was powerful and hot

Words truly cannot describe how much I loved our stay at Monastery Estate Venetian Harbor in Chania. It’s the perfect place to stay right in the heart of Old Town, surrounded by charming shops and incredible food
Everything about our stay was superb - the room, the service (morning breakfast & room cleaning) and especially the front desk personnel and their very personalized attention to our requests for information, advice and assistance
We were only in Chania for three days, but I would have gladly stayed longer just because of them. Thank you, Maria and Vaggelis, for making our honeymoon as magical as it was. We can’t wait to return one day!
Our room was spotless and beautifully designed, featuring a cozy bathtub and a lovely private outdoor area with a hot tub, such a relaxing touch
What truly made our experience unforgettable though, were the two concierges, Maria and Vaggelis. They were the most accommodating, kind, and genuinely sincere hotel staff I have ever encountered

It may prove difficult to get to because of it's location on a narrow, cobblestone street, but it is well worth the walk! Elevator starts on the first floor as some mentioned, but it had no bearing on us, we just dragged our luggage up one short flight of stairs - it wasn't an issue at all
Despite these various inconveniences, Scala de Faro is one of the nicest boutique hotels I've ever stayed in. The location is fabulous, as you can walk to most of the places you will want to visit in Chania
The hotel room we stayed in was HUGE and overlooked the sea/lighthouse, it's in a great location on the harbor and is walking distance from everything! Anita, George and Cristina were SO accommodating, friendly, helpful and just superb hosts
However, once you locate it and go upstairs, the rooms are completely modern and beautiful. The delightful breakfasts are served on the second floor and the staff are all helpful and charming
Be aware that it is located in the middle of the main walkway along the port (although the entrance is on the street behind the port) and can be a little difficult to find
The only minor quibbles would be the standard ones these days, namely the bathroom has a glass door which sounded like it was going to break any second, and the bathroom wall is also opaque so that privacy is not exactly 100% and also if you need to visit the bathroom at night, you wake up people trying to sleep

The whole team, from receptionist and cleaners to management, they are very friendly and helpful. They offer toiletry produced locally. It was so go that we found the brand shop and bought some to take home
The welcoming feeling goes beyond the arrival. It is all way till the end, when the team thank you and says "hope see you again" - priceless
Breakfast was buffet style and had a good selection of both savoury and sweet dishes. Staff were lovely and very helpful
Free parking was almost impossible to find, but subsidised paid parking was available just 50 yards away
The whole room/ bathroom very clean. I strongly recommend this hotel for all it has to offer. Great central location, closer to bus station and old town
Congratulations on the excellent service. Thank you for everything you offered us without being obligated.

We arrived earlier than expected and the room was already prepared for us. Great breakfast, hot and cold food with plenty of choice. Hotel is very well located for exploring Chania and would use again
A charming hotel, located in the old town part of Chania. It is in a relatively quieter part of the town, just far enough away from the main waterfront and all the lights and the hustle and bustle
Great hotel location, very friendly staff, room was very clean and spacious with a balcony. Would stay here again when visiting Chania.
Location is the best if you like to experience living in the old town experience
Great location, loved the breakfast, staff very helpful. Spent time on the small balcony overlooking pedestrian street. Bed was very comfortable too.
Standard room category are rooms with windows facing back alleys No view!!
