Aetheras Beach in Platanias

We had a lovely week at Aetheras Beach, Dimitris took care of us in an excellent way. Water and wine waited for us in the fridge, he served us with fresh orange juice 🍊🍊🍊 and gave us local raki when he found out that we like that 😄 Beautiful apartment with a very high standard 👍 We can highly recommend this place and we would love to come back!

Wonderful Stay by the Beach! 🏖️ I had a truly lovely experience at this property. The location is unbeatable—right by the beach in a quiet, peaceful, and exceptionally clean area. Everything you need is within walking distance: the Atlas supermarket, bus stop, and other conveniences are just across the street. The host was absolutely fantastic—kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. His hospitality and many tips made the stay feel warm and personal. The room itself was fresh, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by the very reasonable prices, especially given the prime location and the quality of service. It’s one of those rare places that balances charm and convenience perfectly. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway—and I’ll definitely be returning! 🌅

Peaceful location on a beautiful sandy beach, just off the busy main road . Agia Marina is a few miles west of Hania with frequent buses. Lots of good local restaurants, the nicest overlooking the sea or a little way up in the hills behind. Dimitri, our very helpful and friendly host, made some useful recommendations. Very clean, comfortable air conditioned accommodation with smart new shower room. We hope to come again.

Very nice location, with direct access to the beach. We booked an apartment with sea view, with a large terrace, very clean and comfortable. The hotel has its own parking and has plenty of restaurants nearby, beachfront as well as in the main street. The host is very friendly, he offered a lot of valuable suggestions for spending time around the island. We arrived at in the middle of the night and he waited for us without any issues. Really good value for money!

He offered us free fresh orange juice, in the fridge we found water and a good bottle of wine! The pictures are exactly like in reality, so you will not have any bad surprises. Like he said: “nothing less, nothing more”! if all the hosts would be like Dimitri, we all will be happy to travel, without worries! Very quiet, tavernas and supermarkets very close, free parking, beach in the front of the hotel! so, what else would you want for a perfect location for your holiday? thank you again, Dimitri, for helping us to have a perfect vacation!

Great location, right on the beach, with stores and restaurants in walking distance. The room was very clean, recently updated and with all the amenities one needs in a holiday. The host, Dimitris, it’s an awesome person, very helpful and very friendly. He recommended us all sorts of day trips to beaches, restaurants, or hidden gems.
