Great location. Walking distance to the Rainbow Road & the church. However, our room had a pretty bad smell from the sink/bathroom. Pretty noisy at night(til 2am) from the restaurant bar across the hotel.

As you enter the hotel you can obviously see that they are seeking for money. No kettle or spresso machine in the room (you have to pay around 20€ daily if you want them) , no water in the fridge at all , a list of the prices of all the products in the room ( such as blankets and condoms and some toothbrushes and etc.) hidden in the cabinet! Great location and helpful staff but the rooms have not been slept in by anyone running this hotel - and therefore aren’t well designed. The room, the staff (especially Abraham) , everything was perfect.

We found our room to be typical of most European hotels. Minimalist, no storage, and no door on the bathroom. That means when you turn on the light to use the restroom in the middle of the night, it lights up the entire room. Tha room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

We had only a 1 day stay as we were getting on a cruise ship. This hotel was very close to the cruise port and the staff their directed us to a walkable distance to a free shuttle bus to the cruise port, We explored the area , which was downtown, on foot and enjoyed it very much..

Overpriced for the quality of the room Good location but room with slanted ceiling and only skylights without windows. Felt like we were in an attic. Not happy with the room for the price we paid.

The room was clean however the bathroom really smelt badly of “drain”. The bed was comfortable and the area was generally quiet. The breakfast was very crowded with little room to manoeuvre. The hot food was lukewarm at best with the bacon being totally undercooked on the first morning and overcooked on the second morning. The bread I felt like eating on the second morning of my stay was still frozen...

Great stay pre-cruise. Excellent property, beautifully appointed. Was just a short walk to our cruise port and to the Harpa concert hall. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of dining and drinking options within a short walk and an excellent restaurant in-house

The hotel is in a convenient location close to the city center. Service is fine and generally meets basic expectations. The room is clean and comfortable. However, the cooking facilities are not very practical, so guests who plan to prepare meals may find it a little inconvenient.

The location is amazing in the middle of the shopping, dining, supermarkets, bus stops etc. Room is not large but has everything one needs. Loved the kitchenette, access to coffee, towels, and kitchen needs. Room was clean, modern and includes a small dining table. We enjoyed the bar downstairs when it was open. Hope we can afford this place if we ever to Iceland!

This is a cosy place to stay with access to a nice town and some excellent walking. Also convenient for exploring the national park. Relax in the hot tub before going for a drink and dinner. You must eat here! The food is excellent.

I can not say enough about this Hotel! The location is perfect if want to see the Northern Lights. The staff at Landhotel are amazing. The place to stay is very close to the church. Service is so-so. Breakfast is okay. Eating at KFC nearby is the most cost-effective option; places like Da Shi Dai are just a few minutes' walk away. Clean modern hotel situated near the entrance to the town. Large room but space mostly in the washroom (if you like big washrooms its great). The hotel is clean and close to the waterfall as well as the Systravatn Viewpoint. We didn’t see the aurora during the night we stayed but we saw meteors which is also a very nice surprise. The staff of the hotel are helpful and friendly.

I saw the Northern Lights right outside the hotel, starting clearly at 8 PM! The hotel breakfast was excellent. Although the room wasn't huge, it was quite good for Iceland and very clean.

The facilities are clean. It was a comfortable stay for a family of three with a three-year-old. There's a waterfall nearby and about three restaurants. The breakfast, while not extensive, is delicious, so I highly recommend it if the price is right.

Great spot, central to alot of amazing places in Reykjavik. Clean, comfortable, and friendly staff. Perfect spot for walking and exploring the city. Morning breakfast was full of yummy options, and easy on the wallet. Allowing the ability to splurge guilt free on other Iclandic goodies (try the shark) Great happy hour prices as well!! Really good location, near the city centre area and the service is awesome. Super friendly service staff and bar tender. Hotel looks great and the rooms are clean. Lovely hotel in the perfect location in downtown Reykjavik. Walkable to everything. The hotel was immaculate, the room was great and the heated towel rack in the bathroom was awesome! Bring your own conditioner if you use that because they only give you shampoo and you only get liquid bath gel so also bring soap if you like that instead. This is a magical place. It is hard to get to, especially during a snowstorm, so be aware. Make sure to get an AWD or 4x4 vehicle. Other than that, communication with the staff/property manager/owner was great and they are very helpful. We had a great time!

The official website advertised luggage storage, but it wasn't available, completely disrupting my travel plans. The staff's service was also very poor. The location is remote, with no proper roads for loading and unloading luggage; I had to carry heavy luggage up stairs covered in snow. However, the room was beautifully decorated, the heating was good, and the bathtub was nice.

Stayed for 1 night as a family of 4 in the Krafla Dome. Lovely experience, nice and cosy and well equipped. Hot tub needed topped up with water and 2 men came within 5-10 minutes after I phoned and topped it up. Would definitely recommend a stay here, it was a nice way to end our busy 4 days exploring this beautiful country.

Clean room, amazing views, comfy beds. We enjoyed the extra touch of champagne and macaroons left for us. Coffee was also there, no need to purchase and bring with you. The code entry for the door worked well. And hreyfill taxi service knows how to get you to and from the Domes and Reykjavik. Be sure to schedule with the taxi the night before you want to leave to avoid a wait.

Overall a great find :) staff were helpful, friendly and gave good advice on our plans. Breakfast range was plentiful, hot tubs were a great treat after long hikes. Place was clean, modern and comfortable. Would stay here again if I’m back. One small downside is that the showers were abit small. Would strongly advise providing non-slip mats as I did nearly trip in the showers.

Really enjoyed our stay here – the hotel is modern and cozy, in a peaceful location. Yes, the rooms (especially the bathroom) are a bit small, but the included spa and breakfast more than make up for it. Great value for money and definitely recommend!

One of the best hotels I have ever been on. Great rooms and service, lovely food at the restaurant as well. They were extremely kind with helping our mothers birthday and coordinate it with the restaurant. Would maybe have loved a longer shower curtain to our room in 314, as water splayed everywhere. But that's a tiny thing compared to the rest of the lovely stay.

I was pleasantly surprised.  The hotel is conveniently located in downtown Reykjavik.  It is within walking distance  to shops and restaurants.  The transportation service to airport was added benefit.  I highly recommend this hotel 

This hotel had the nicest staff I encountered during my trip. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and very professional. Their warm attitude made me feel comfortable and cared for. I really loved staying here and would happily come back again.

We were really pleased with our stay here both times we've visited. Julia, Victoria and the staff there were unfailingly polite and helpful. The building we stayed in was well appointed and super convenient to everything we wanted to do. The only challenge here is parking, but it's possible if you pay attention. Plan ahead if you have folks in your party who have accessibility concerns.

Very nice roomy and comfortable apartment near everything in the downtown area. We had the 1 bedroom on the 3rd floor, the space was roomy, had a comfortable bed and dishes for 3 to 4. The shower doors were a bit hinky, but work well once you figure them out. Great location however if you have gear to carry, it’s a bit of a walk from the closest bus stop and there is NO elevator. We were on the 4th floor and had a lot of gear. Apartment was great, as was the location. Only two minor adjustments I would make personally - put felt pads on all the furniture, this will reduce noise for the apartment below. Second is the shower, place a bracket at an angle for the hand held sprayer so it doesn’t just spray you vertically!
