Hotel Crawford in Sant'Agnello

Very nice place , close to everything

Hotel is 30 min walk from main city centre square. Location from the beach is perfect and the views of the sea down the road are beautiful. Rooms are spacious with 2 bathrooms and toilets. The rooms are clean and staff very helpful. We met the owner on our last day and he was so friendly and nice. Only downside is that it does get very noisy especially at night from the cars outside. There’s a number of restaurants and eateries around the area. I would recommend it.

We have just returned from a wonderful relaxed two week break staying in this hotel and we LOVED IT!! The hotel is in a great location and the staff were so friendly. The room was spotless and our room was gorgeous with a fabulous balcony. A beautiful hotel where we were made to feel very welcome. There is a hot tub on the roof with the best view…..sat relaxing looking at Mount Vesuvius and a perfect blue Sorrento sky what’s not to love! Sant Angello is the perfect place to stay…just 20 minutes walk into Sorrento with the best view of the sunset just literally down the road and a range of lovely restaurants which meant we didn’t really venture into Sorrento as much as we thought we would have to, we stayed local. Thank you Hotel Crawford we will be back next year!

Great location

This quiet little hotel is a small hidden gem about 1.25 miles from the main square of Sorrento. If you are wanting a quieter place to be, this is a great hotel away from the hustle of downtown Sorrento. The staff is incredibly kind and accommodating to all requests and the hotel is less than a block from a great little beach club with great pricing there as well. Additionally, the views are fantastic from their rooftop.

We did not have a room with a balcony. Our room was extra small and the bathroom was minuscule!But what this hotel lacks in size it more than makes up for with its friendly and helpful staff. Daniela greeted us with a lovely smile and made sure we we’re comfortable. She took the time to point out places on the map where we might eat and things to do locally. She got wine glasses for us so we could go up to the rooftop patio and drink own wine while watching the sunset over the Mediterranean. Daniela treated us like royalty! Aldo worked tirelessly to help us secure a private tour of the area. And Vincenzo was so friendly and helpful with our bags. This valuable hotel team could not have been more accommodating and delightful. Thank you.

Good experience. I wouldn't say it's a 4 star as it's rated, but it has good service, it's clean, 150 meters from the sea, 15/20' walking to downtown Sorrento, and 5/7' walking from Sant' Agnello station, which is the previous one to Sorrento coming from Naples, by train Circumvesuviana line. Ticket E 4.20. Good price. Restaurants in the area. I would come back.

Stayed in this nice little hotel on our stay in sorrento . It is in a district called sant Angelo which is a 15-20 min walk to sorrento town centre . It says it's a 4* but not like the equivalent of a Uk or Ireland hotel . The breakfast is very basic but nice , the room we had was on the top floor with a balcony which was a lovely room with a beautiful view of versuvious . The staff are all so welcoming and helpful they would get a 5* . The only downside i feel is that if its raining and you're stuck in the hotel there's nowhere in it to sit down and have a beer or a coffee as we found out with some unusually bad weather for this time of year . However it's in a nice area and at the end of the road there is a lovely little restaurant where you can have a drink and look out at the beautiful views weather permitting . It is also spotlessly clean inside which is a good sign of any hotel .
