Nonno Luigino is an agriturismo property, where you can stay (a hotel with breakfast), you can eat (there is a restaurant open to public) and you can visit their pool (which is open to public). It is much more than this. They produce their own vegetables, oils, cosmetics, lemon products and what is rare and interesting is the production of wheat for producing their own flour. So the top of all the businesses they represent is the restaurant. Their pizza was the best we had in Italy (16 days of travelling and eating in many restaurants), but my daughter claims the same about the pasta she had. As well, in the evening the restaurant was full of local people which is a great indicator of the fact that the food here is good. The prices are reasonable, actually great for the quality you get. We spent 2 nights here and had it as a base for visiting the Gulf of Naples (Herculaneum, snorkeling, Sorrento...). It is one hour of drive from the Gulf, but the way there is scenic as you drive up above the bay, you can see local villages with its lively evenings and the property has amaizing views because it is quite high. Our accomodation had 2 bedrooms and a patio and was next to a lemon grove. It was fine, our daughter just missed a bigger mirror. But at this place you should not stay in your bedroom, you must go out, eat, swim, chat with the people there (the boss is an incredible lady) and enjoy the surroundings.

The rooms were okay and the food was quite good, but the place lacks the charm of a typical agriturismo. The owner didn’t seem to care about the guests in general. We were forced to dine inside due to an event outside that went on late, disrupting our sleep. Also for breakfast we weren’t offered to have our food outside. It’s a shame given that the property has beautiful views. When we asked for a farm tour, she ignored our request. Additionally, we were incorrectly charged for drinks we didn't order, which we had to resolve at checkout. All in all I would only recommend the restaurant of this property but not the accomodation.

Located near Vico Equense, a truly delightful place. The room is spacious and fresh, equipped with an air conditioner, excellent bathroom, and efficient shower. Breakfast is tasty and plentiful with croissants, pastries, and freshly baked bread. The homemade jams are also delicious. Mrs. Mena and all the staff welcomed us with great kindness, gave us useful advice for both local places and trips in the surrounding area. All the staff are always polite and very courteous. We stopped at the restaurant several evenings. The appetizers were spectacular, with cheeses and dairy products made on-site. We ordered the #Noci# pizza several times because it was so delicious. Definitely a great value for the price. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it

The pool area was not greate. You needed to pay for the sunbeds and umbrella. And you had to wear a swim cap and pay for it. The stuff at that area was not friendly. The room was ok and clean. Good food. But not super nice atmosphere.

Dining under the lemon trees was an unforgettable experience- Yolanda and the other waitress were so wonderful, and made the night fun, full of laughs, and professional hospitality that sets Nonno Luigino far above the rest when it comes to having a true Sorrento dining experience. You MUST have a meal here- the food is exquisite and the special touches make this a place you will never forget.

A very beautiful setting amongst a garden like outdoors with a quiet pool. Inside is a large hall for events. And a gift shop offers locally made jams, honey, candles, etc. And the catered food for events is amazingly delicious, using all ingredients from their own farm. It's the best of the "buy local" scene.

The location (Vico equense) is perfect if you want to combine Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast with Pompei and Naples. The drive up from the town to the agriturismo is quite challenging at first, but you'll get used to it and it's not hard to find.

The agriturismo has only a few rooms. We were upgraded to a small selfcatering appartment, which was very nice of them. Not really suited for self-catering though, so if you're looking for that I wouldn't recommend it.

Although there are just a few rooms, the place is very lively with a lot of groups visiting (eg school classes and a communion-celebration). This is nice, bit also a bit uncomfortable with all these people looking at you while you're at the pool sunbathing...

The agriturismo is a working farm, but unfortunately there isn't much to see there.
Yes, there are some pigs and chicken, fruit trees and vegetables, but they don't really tell or show you. They sell homemade products (both food and beauty).

The swimming pool is quite small, but nice. There is a children's playground. Wifi is available in communal areas (not in the room). There aren't a lot of nice places to just sit and relax or read a book. So it's the swimming pool or leave to explore the area.

We didn't eat at the restaurant (it opened at 8PM, which is quite late for a Dutch toddler and was closed for a few days during our stay), but it's supposed to be good. Breakfast is nice (bread, Nutella/jam, some cakes, fresh fruit) but there isn't much variety and orange juice is horrible like in whole Italy (why don't they just squeeze oranges???).

Staff is very friendly. Some speak English. They adored our toddler and he loved them. They go to great lengths to accommodate any request (like a packed breakfast when we wanted to leave early).

Offer a bit limited as regards the catering services, with a price / quality ratio not balanced. Appreciate the commitment to enhance the structure. Service is not very attentive, but overall acceptable.

We had dinner and this was a very pleasant restaurant with terrific staff who helped us with wonderful food and wine.

Beautiful setting, comfortable spacious rooms, good food and friendly, accommodating staff. The downside was the way in which the animals were kept. All were caged and had very little room to move around. The chickens were at quite a high stocking density and didn't seem to have access to the outside. The same seemed to be true of the goats. The pigs were kept on bare concrete and had no bedding - they didn't look at all happy. There was a sow which looked to be heavily pregnant and was kept in the same conditions. Maybe this level of husbandry is acceptable in Italy, but as veterinary surgeons with a particular interest in animal welfare, my husband and I found it very distressing. It seriously marred our stay. We would have given a 5 star rating if the animals had been happier, but because of the animal welfare issues we have given only 3 stars. We wouldn't return. There were also kennels nearby and the dogs barked all night - obviously not Nonno Luigino's fault, but our sleep was rather disturbed.
