Hotel Prestige in Sorrento

Firstly, we’ve stayed at 5 star all inclusive resorts to Vegas suites and ritz Carlton’s but the service of staff here was unmatched. Special thank you to Thomas, Luigi, and the woman front desk receptionist on October 15th (sorry we never asked for your name) but they made our trip especially comforting. Staff from reception, shuttle, housekeeping, reservations, breakfast and all went above and beyond to make our stay as convenient as possible.

Rooms are nice but be prepared in that they’re not a penthouse luxury, rather Tuscan family villa style with decent beddings, linens, etc but again don’t expect cashmere towels with marble flooring. The location is further from downtown but the shuttle bus running at SPECIFIC HOURS (call in advance for times!) make it very simple and quick 20 minute ride into town and back.

Breakfast is everything you’d need, an above average continental with bar service including cafes, alcoholic drinks, and additional kitchen food items.

View from hotel is beautiful but you are NOT on the coast. Rather a hilltop view overlooking the city of sorrento and surrounding mountains.

Staff again is convenient from local support for buses, routes, ferry questions, excursions, taxis, restaurant reservations and all around truly want to help, which you can’t say about most stays we’ve had throughout Italy. This hotel is prestigious in how they treat their guests, and make a foreign country feel very welcoming and kind.

The staff were very freindly and helpful. The service at breakfast was very good and the rooms were cleaned very well. The only issue we had were that the beds were not firm and we woke up every morning with back pain.

I enjoyed staying at this property even if it was a little far from the centre of Sorrento. The hotel had daily free shuttle service that made up for this. The property is well kept but would benefit from a renovation. The staff is friendly, efficient and knowledgeable always ready to help. I would definitely return.

Great hotel with a free shuttle into Sorrento, the only thing I would bear in mind if you can't stay out later than 11 pm or get a shuttle earlier than 8:30 am if you have any excursions and the taxi to the bottom is around €50 but a great hotel and beautiful scenery

The hotel is situated on top of a hill with very good vires of the Sorrento coast. The amenities provided very good and room was decent too. Staff was helpful. We need just cold medicines Panadol but were unavailable at the hotel.
The hotel provides for shuttle bus service at specific times which is good as the place is about 25-30 mins away from the centre. We missed it by around 30-45 mins so had to take the coach buses to the hotel which is also quite reasonable. The hotel was proactive and arranged the Amalfi Positano trip by ferry, with pickup and drop at hotel, which was superb.
Overall, we loved our-stay at Prestige.

Absolutely stunning location, great restaurant, amazing pool area thanks to the views - nothing not to like! The free shuttle to Sorrento was also greatly appreciated. One of the best hotels I’ve stopped in.

We loved our stay here. The service is the best of the best with extremely kind and caring staff. The front desk was very helpful in navigating the challenging geography of the Amalfi Coast. The Prestige shuttle drivers are also wonderful and take special care of you. The pool, breakfast, and dinner were all wonderful as well. High recommend.

The hotel is located in Sorrento. The pool is beautiful and the parking lot is quite convenient. There is a shuttle bus to the center for dining and shopping! The hotel's decoration style is also unique. There are some beautiful display cabinets on the left side of the entrance.

Hotel Prestige offers a unique stay in Sorrento. Free shuttles every hour to the town (rent a car if driving from Naples Airport to Hotel) but use shuttle for daily trips to the town. Nestled in the cliffs with tremendous views, and the best customer service you can ask for on a trip. While the rooms do not have the 5-star aesthetic, cleanliness and priceless balcony views are unmatched. Breakfast and Dinner with a view and a great swimming pool to relax as well. The staff went above and beyond to make it an easy trip and allowed us to relax and enjoy all that Sorrento and the neighboring cities (Positano, Capri, Amalfi, Ravello) had to offer. Special shoutout to Thomas, Gio and Luigi. Will be back!

Our family of seven had the absolute pleasure of staying at Hotel Prestige in mid-April, just as it reopened for the season—and what a warm welcome we received! From the moment we arrived, the lovely owner, Angela, made us feel right at home with her kindness and hospitality.

Set in the hills of Sorrento, Hotel Prestige offers breathtaking views of the coastline and landscape. Even before peak season, the serene grounds were beautifully maintained—we can only imagine how stunning the pool area must be in summer!

Our rooms were spotless and comfortable, with balconies overlooking the ocean. One room was even upgraded to a spacious terrace with a private lounge and shared common area—an unexpected treat!

Angela’s local restaurant recommendations led us to some amazing Italian meals. Mornings began with a delicious breakfast that went beyond a typical continental spread—pastries, fruit, and hot items like eggs and bacon were a hit.

A standout feature was the free shuttle to and from central Sorrento, making exploring easy. Free parking was also a major plus for drivers.

Angela and her family clearly take great pride in the hotel. The warmth and personal touch made our stay unforgettable. We left with full hearts and are already dreaming of our return.
