Hotel delle Palme in Letojanni

Food is buns rooms are terrible whole place is bad only good thing is the vibes, the pool hasn't even got a lifeguard.

I was on a school trip for 3 nights. The hotel was in a nice location close to the beach, but the rooms were for 2 people but they squeezed 4 people in so there was not enough space to get around. The floor was disgusting, my feet were dirty after just having a shower. In the bathroom there were no bins to put rubbish in. The food was truly awful - at breakfast the milk was out of date every day, the food felt very processed and on one evening the food was raw so we had to eat out. The hotel looked nothing like the pictures on the website, very basic and a green pool . I would not recommend this hotel to people at all.

Come here on a schools trip for 4 nights to see the geography of Sicily. The hotel was to say it nicely horrible. From the food that was 90% raw and presented poorly to the room that were ancient and cramped. The photos posted online look nothing like the actual place. We are all very disappointed, the waiters seemed annoyed by us. They turned the AC of during the day in 32* weather which made the rooms very hot and hard to sleep in. The balcony was okay with pretty views and a set of chairs. Bed where okay and not to uncomfortable. The location was good as you were nearer the centre of town. The showers had good water pressure but went the cleanest. Lastly the staff where accusing us of breaking things in rooms like taking shelves out of the fridge when they were never shelves trying to get money out of us. Overall I wouldn’t not recommend for families or school trips.

I stayed here on a school trip around a week ago. The hotel was shocking, the room I stayed in was tiny and for four people. Across the four beds two had blood stains and one was stained with a suspicious white substance. On our first night staying there our balcony shutter broke and we could not get onto the balcony without putting a chair under the shutter. The food served was also shocking. The pasta was undercooked and half of the time we stayed there the toilets in the dining area were not open. One of my friends was served straight lettuce on a plate with chips as a "vegetarian option". Some of the food was inedible due to green patches of mold on it. The advertised rooftop pool was shut the entire time we were staying there. Unless you want a time of horror on your stay DO NOT STAY HERE.

Firstly, upon arrival out suitcases were taken from the coach for us as there is a train track next to the hotel and so we had to go under it in a dodgy tunnel. The food on the first night really set the tone for the stay, we got some unidentifiable mush for the first dish and some bird's-eye chicken for the second. There was only one dish in the stay that was actually eatable. Breakfast was the same smelly eggs, bread and salami and some dry cakes. The rooms were very old, the shower like a coffin but the room itself was clean, just dated. The reception and communal area was the highlight as it was a nice atmosphere. If you are going to sicily i wpuld suggest staying in messina or palermo as opposed to a small village on the side of a railway
