Hotel Lord Byron in Ischia Town

If you're looking for a four-star experience, the Lord Byron Hotel in Ischia (Forio) will disappoint, and not just because of the lack of an elevator! Our stay was an odyssey of minor inconveniences that completely took the edge off our smiles. Upon arrival, I asked for information on places to visit three times, but the staff was too busy ignoring me and then sending me back to a later date. After a trek up the stairs—and a request for a more comfortable room for my pregnant wife—we were offered a lower-category room. In the end, they granted our request, but when I asked to see the other room anyway, I received a response I'll never forget: "So, you've chosen the other one, what difference does it make to see it?" And, to top it all off, I'd like to point out the "glute-free" menu (see attached photo) assigned to my wife after she mentioned her celiac disease. It's a joke that alone sums up the superficiality of the service, but the kitchen has potential and the chef prepared some excellent dishes! But that's not all! Our car was parked under a pine tree, and seeing it was a real nerve-wracking: dirty and full of resin. But that's not all: at our last breakfast, we received expired gluten-free toast. My wife discovered a "taste of mystery" and a stomach ache... the waitress, instead of apologizing and remedying our complaint, replied: "And unfortunately, I have everything in a box." And finally, the Turkish bath was "off" from day one, with the unpleasant surprise of discovering that no one had bothered to turn it on. Thanks to the "glute-free" staff for their attitude: "Ah, it still needs fixing." In short, if you're looking for a four-star "hotel," don't stop by the Lord Byron in Forio... Have a good trip everyone!

Very bad experience!!!! I will never come back to this place anymore. Very bad custer service, rude and arrogante. Do not have dinner or breakfast here the food is horrible and poor also you have to pay for water at well. Disgusting!!!!!

I had vacation with my bf in this hotel, it was defintely a nightmare experience . AC apparently the plant was not able to cool down our room and part of the hotel . Hot and moisture smells were everywhere. Terrace view toward hotel backyard and trash area , terrible . We were forced to sleep with open window and there were bad smells coming from that area, ( their garbage segregation room) . Apprantly hotel went through refurbishment, still surrounded by a lot trash everywhere with closed and unfinished area. Not recommended at all
