Hotel Ulisse in Ischia Town

STAY AWAY! I would give this place no stars if I could. Where do I start? The staff is rude and very unaccommodating. I spent 3 weeks traveling all around Italy. I booked here for 3 nights and checked in the room was tiny, and I mean tiny. I have stayed in a lot of small rooms over the years in NYC, SF and throughout Europe. But this was ridiculous. There wasn't even room for our bags. Now I could have lived with that the room was dirty and then the thing that completely ruined it was the bathroom. There was no real shower. Just a shower head in the tiny bathroom and a drain on the floor. It was like a crappy cruise ship bathroom but old and dirty.

Needless to say I only stayed the first night and decided to move. They wouldn't even entertain the notion of letting me out out of the last 2 nights even though they mislead you on what you are getting. So we choose to book a room in Capri and that was a wonderful decision. Ischia is a crappy low class island. Do yourself a favor and go to Capri. But if you do decide to go to Ischia DON'T stay here.
