Hotel La Reginella in Capri Village

Alex is a gracious host! Extremely clean rooms and everything you need and more is there! The views are spectacular from.the breakfast room and breakfast was probably the best Ive ever had in Italy! I will be back again !

Alex is a nice, welcoming gentleman. He had given us all information and instructions needed before checking. The breakfast and homemade cakes/ pastries were so delicious. We really enjoyed staying there. Nice walking distance from capri if you don’t have large luggage. For us even paying 18 euros to bring the luggage from capri port to hotel worth it. We’ll definitely recommend. Thanks Alex!

This was a lovely place to stay in the mountains if Capri ! It was a room on the smaller side but it had a beautiful view , a great breakfast and Alex the host is very gracious. We liked our stay there very much !

Located at the top of Capri, this hotel requires physical effort to reach. Having overcome this difficulty, you will enjoy hospitality of excellent quality. The various rooms, which are all separate, are accessible from the outside; in general, each enjoys a small and exclusive outdoor space where one can spend one's time. This is a hotel that retains the characteristics of traditional Capri hospitality: no crystal railings, no state-of-the-art home automation but good, wholesome comfort. Alex welcomes you in a friendly but unhurried manner. The silence enjoyed by all the rooms is absolute. How absolute is the variety and quality of breakfast, which is served on a rooftop terrace near the reception. All in all, an absolutely recommendable hotel for visiting the island.

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel and it was wonderful. The host Alex is very helpful with great communication, explaining to us on what's app how to reach the hotel. It is a 15 minute walk uphill from Capri Town, like all of Capri you expect to walk to reach restaurants and views. Room was very comfortable with view and little veranda, bed was great and the air-conditioning worked very well. Breakfast is excellent and simple with lots of GF options. Coffee is made to order. We spent 3 days walking and exploring the island. The location of the hotel is very nice as you are away from all the shops & crowds & it feels a more authentic experience. I would highly recommend.

Alex was the best host/manager one could ask for. He explained everything, got us an amazing room with one large bed, and was always helpful anytime we had questions. The property is beautiful and tranquil with a cozy B&B feel. We really enjoyed breakfast each morning (which includes GF options). You will need to walk up hill from the Piazza to reach the hotel, but the views are definitely worth it. I just left and want to go back already.

It's a bit of an effort to get there because there's no vehicle access, but once there, it's amazing. The room was superb, well fitted out with everything you need. Our host was extremely helpful in every way. The breakfast out on the deck was top notch in everyway. Highly recommended.

One of the best hotel stays we've enjoyed. Beautiful room with little garden where you can sit and watch the sunset, comfortable bed, kitchenette, all amenities you could wish for. The location is an effort up the hill but so well worth it - quiet, colourful and blessed with sunshine all day long (while we were there). Alex is a superb host, willing to share his knowledge and go the extra mile in terms of finding out what is open in the winter season. One can walk to extraordinary locations/amazing views in under an hour. A supermarket is five minutes away and the centre is less than a kilometre's walk through charming scenery. The breakfast buffet is exceptional, plus the terrace available during the day should you need to work/read/stare at the sea. One of the highlights was the visit from the cat every afternoon, who curled up on a cushion during cocktail hour. La Reginella was a risk - unknown to us and out of season - but we made the right choice. Thank you.

I don’t normally write reviews but felt this place deserved one! Friendly host and staff . Coffee of any kind made to order for breakfast. Lovely selection of items for breakfast, all delicious! The bed / pillows were super comfortable and bedroom has everything you needed.. including fridge with water , coffee tea making facilities. The outside area was another beauty, with really comfortable sun loungers …The only bad thing was our stay was only one night!!! So sorry we Cldnt stay longer.. I would recommend this gem x

Great breakfast , you can choose from sweets to salty things. The location is wonderful and you can reach every main attraction easily. The attention was very nice and they helped with everything we need. Recommended ??
