Palazzo Turchini in Naples

Do not recommend! Stayed at this hotel for one night and it was terrible. There is construction occurring directly beside the building and luckily we stayed from Friday night to Saturday so the construction banging did stop around 5pm on the Friday.

While air conditioning is advertised on their website, the system was shut down for the entire building even though it was so warm outside. The room we stayed in was split into 2 rooms by a simple divider and so all noise (talking, snoring) was heard all throughout the night. Light comes through the door so we used a towel to cover the large gap. Cherry on top, our room definitely was not cleaned properly. There was hair all over the bathroom floors and also the bed. The shower barely is large enough for a small petit woman like me to fit or move around. When we complained they stated no other rooms were available even though we were able to see and book available rooms online via their website.

This hotel claims to be a 4 star hotel, however, the room was no where near up to standards.

Don’t let them put you on the 6th Floor!!! Our room was right next to the elevator and the breakfast room, which sounded great at check-in but was unbearable on the second night. 12:30 AM a large LOUD group of people made it impossible to sleep. Elevator makes noise all night. As others have stated, the beds and pillows are bad and the “queen” bed we were given was two beds mushed together. The hotel is central and in a good location and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast was also really good, however if you are trying to recover from jet lag, skip this hotel.
