MH Design Hotel in Naples

My experience was the most negative I ever got and I am a travel agent. Based upon reviews and location I booked a "Superior" room that was supposed to be in an annex building. It appears this hotel has two annex buildings, one in less than 33 meters and one in half a kilometer. So me and my daughter were taken to a block of flats where the elevator smelled like urine and put is in a room that was considered Superior. We left before the day ended and had to book a much more expensive hotel in the end of July, leaving us with the worst experience ever. I attach photos of the building and the balcony. I will NEVER suggest this property to anyone ever again.

This was the worst place I ever stayed. And I’ve traveled all over the world. We booked through Chase. Using points. Maybe that’s the initial mistake because I don’t think they vetted out anything. When we arrived, two guys in the lobby directed us out the door, down the street to some shabby place that looked condemned. There was no breakfast room. There were no amenities as described by other travelers. Now that I’m looking at other people’s photos, I’m thinking they did some bait and switch with us. They were terrible. And they didn’t care they were terrible. They never even fixed the toilet seat. We had good water pressure. Everything else was horrendous. Here’s a short list: Dirty floor Toilet seat did not fit, was broken and was loose Cob webs on the walls Dust bunnies on the floor Stains on the sheets No mattress pad I got bug bites Course sheets (not 100% cotton) No air conditioning No stairway egress (one small elevator so that could be dangerous) Building itself looks condemned from entrance Refrigerator wasn’t working Towel rack wasn’t working (should dry and warm towels - did neither) Few outlets in room - none next to bedside No Wi-Fi (not in room. Not in lobby) Noisy Very few toiletries (only shampoo and small small bar of soap). No tissues. No wash/face cloth. No bath mat. No lotion. No conditioner. No cell service either in room (or in lobby) They never addressed any concerns questions we had (like even tightening the toilet seat) Poor lighting Broken off towel hooks I cannot recommend this hovel
