Wonderful modern art museum and other museums along the way to the Sistine Chapel. Lots of tours along the way if you are into the history and group or small group tours. Walking through yourself gets the flavor in a couple hours when it’s busy.

A must place to visit at least once in a lifetime.
Too much history to hear, learn, and look.

Absolutely 💯 gorgeous! Words can not describe the beauty of the art and sculptures. The church is breathtaking. There is so much history and culture. It most definitely lives up to the hype. Its better to go with a tour guide as you get to skip lines and get all the information you need. The place is managed well.

The Vatican is a sight to behold. The city itself is really big. The museums inside has many artworks and sculptures. It takes a long time to see it all. When we visited it was fully packed. Summer is probably not the best time to visit to appreciate this. The basilica is amazing to see. We also witnessed the church proceedings which was a wonderful site to see. A must visit when in Rome.

I mean, it's the Vatican! You can't go to Rome and not visit. The amount of priceless works in there is mind boggling. The size of it is hard to comprehend, and the work that's went into it is hard to get your head around.
It's free to look in the main basilica, including going down to the crypt where you can see all the old popes and St Peters tomb.
Expect to wait in big queues, there was also separate waits if you want to go up the top of the basilica and to the museum, which are both worth looking at.
