Reviews
The only minor issue we experienced was that the air conditioning wasn’t working properly during our stay, so we had to sleep with the windows open on a few nights. As a result, we could hear some noise from the bar downstairs, but it really didn’t bother us much since we were always tired after long days exploring the city.
Overall, it’s a great place to stay — clean, convenient, and run by a friendly and attentive team. I would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Rome who wants to be close to the main attractions.
Wonderful place to stay
When I checked in, the room was available, so they gave me the key in advance and helped me move my luggage in after I finished unpacking. I was very grateful. The receptionist was very friendly and explained the different keys and the surrounding area. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was also large. The room had a high ceiling with a wooden ceiling. Overall, I was very satisfied with the cleanliness, location, and price. The view from the window of the room I booked was also very nice.
However, I must warn those who are sensitive to noise that I wouldn't recommend this hotel. First, the water supply in the bathroom is quite loud. Second, the bar downstairs is quite noisy; of course, it could also be the sound of a crowd cheering for Japan that night. I could still hear the speakers vibrating and the crowd's voices around 2-3 am.
So, if you are very sensitive to noise, please bring noise-canceling equipment when choosing this hotel. I was so tired that I fell asleep immediately, and even if I was woken up, I would fall back asleep right away, so it didn't bother me.
Aside from the noise, everything else was excellent. The staff downstairs were also very friendly. When I didn't understand how to use the key card to open the door, she told me that I needed to insert the card and push the door open at the same time, which I appreciated. So, if you encounter similar problems opening the door, you can refer to my review. Actually, the receptionist did mention this when she gave me the key card, but I forgot about it when I got back to the hotel.
In short, this price is very good value for money near the Colosseum. If you're on a tight budget and don't mind the noise, I would highly recommend it.
Nice location right beside the colosseum. Check in was very easy and bed was comfy. Only complaint is you can hear everything in the hall as it’s a small space.
As advertised, fantastic location to see this side of Rome. Steps from the collesium. Staff were very helpful and gave a great recommendation for dinner! Highly recommend.
