St. Peter Central Rooms B&B in Rome

It is at just the central part in Rome. It is the closest location to the Vatican City. 1.4 km away from the Vatican city. Everything is closer to reach. Subway station is nearby. Groceries are close by. Restaurants are easy to find around the area.

This hidden gem is located in a perfect location for those wanting to tour the Vatican City and not break the bank! The room is relatively small (European), but was just what we wanted/needed—security, a great place to sleep, store our luggage, and shower/clean up each day. And, the air conditioned room was welcomed at the end of a June day of touring in 80+ degrees Fahrenheit weather. We LOVED going to the bakery each morning for fresh pastry, just outside the front door, and being able to go across the street (literally) for fresh fruit daily from the local fruit market. The communication with the owner was great via text—we never met/saw him—and the check-in and check-out process was seamless. There are a few things that will be extremely helpful to you: 1. Take a good look at the photo of the front door before you arrive & the address—as many of the doors look similar. 2. Note the arrival process: enter through huge wooden outside door; proceed through glass doors and go up the short staircase immediately on your left to the small elevator. 3. Get in with luggage, close doors, press 3rd floor…as it opens, you will see the door of the B & B—St Peter’s B & B—on a brass plaque on the door. 4. To the right of the door is a lock box for the key to get into the apartment area where there are four individual locked rooms (A, B, C, D). You will receive the code from the owner. Open the door and immediately place the key back into the lock box. We got into the city early and our rooms were not ready, but they allowed us to put our luggage inside the hallway, so we could go out and tour. They notified us when our rooms were ready and we met someone back at the rooms, received our instructions, rooms, etc. Note: B&B may stand for Bedroom & Bathroom—there is no breakfast😎. The room was extremely clean and the bathroom was perfect! Each room has their own bathroom. Final note: we had to catch an early taxi (3:30am) to the airport and we’re nervous about securing one and where to meet them. Our host arranged for the driver/taxi as per our schedule and everything went perfect. A taxi ride was about 80 Euros and took about thirty minutes that time of day—no traffic. Taxis prefer cash. We would stay here again!

The cleannes, location, hospitality and friendliness was exceptional. The room was not so big, but definetly clean and comfortable, a specially for a city break! Great value.

Excellent central location, you can find parking in the street (with a bit of luck ?)..room a little small but very comfortable, clean and new. Breakfast is not inside the structure, but at the bar in front .ok the board! ?????

Intolerance from administrator.
It would be better to have another week in the structure but that was not possible. I did a really long stay. December to January 2021. The room was enough large, the hot-water and all the comfort described were as written. The cleaning services come from Colelli agency and were did daily. The bed&breakfast have a kitchen but because of Covid-19 can't be opened. The zone have all the facilities and the stabile have a keeper that work everyday. In the adiacence you can find a shop that sell accesories to infiermiers, a shop that sell wine, a shop of bedroom accessories and a breadoven. What i did not like was that the last weekend they did change cleaning service and call (, reported not seen) a philippine and a brasilian to clean. I did asked to not clean my room but they did enter and when i returned i find that they did re-entered my room while i left my money and my computer. The door lock can be locked twice time, so if you lock only once is easy to detect an entering in a room. I always lock until the end of the serrature, so if it have six lock or eight i will lock until the end. In the stabile there were other b&b, as the"twins of Rome"; "Locanda dei Gracchi"; "little rose" so the stabile is very frequented. In the day that come from 31/12 to 01/01 i did argued because"someone in the palace or in the Road" laments the fact that after i smoke i did put the finished cigarettes on the ground, as accorded before, so i buyed a cigarettes*can portable and finished the story. It had to be known that everday i did ladder to smoke and did for every cigarettes about 155 feet on ladder (, because they lamented that the bill of the elevator would be to high). The intolerance from the administrator (, viale Flaminia 192), the fact that they did a private party where there was surely more than four people invited (, if you rent dishes, people will see) the same day of the argued was harassing. But to have an advocate from Cassazione in the palace that did nothing; except change the line with other with a car of TIM on saturday was worst. The atmosphere from 2020 to 2021 became terrible. I talked with lot of people in the stabile and seems that something changed enormously. Probably because of some death in palace to covid.

I have had a good experience thus far with this establishment. It can be difficult to find if have not been before. Also the curtains in my my room did not close completely which let in some unwanted light, otherwise it was great.
