B&B Ventisei Scalini a Trastevere Guest House in Rome

Great location in the best city area. The street is not too crowded and it’s great for living The host was super friendly. Good quality of windows - we didn’t hear noise from the street.
The shower is rather small, lamps are covered with dust.

I will definitely return to this B&B.
The poet's room is delightful.

One thing, but unfortunately this applies to almost all B&Bs: what's the point of finding two small bottles of water in the room? The guest would certainly appreciate it!
Otherwise, no complaints.

Had a 2 night stay in this gem. The location is perfect in the heart of Trastevere We love to be in the center of it all, restaurants, shops, music, fun! The room was decorated beautifully and super comfortable, bathroom with amenities and shower stall with excellent water pressure. I’ll definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in Trastevere. Our hosts were wonderful. The amenities were fine and our room was comfortable and clean. We loved being able to walk to most sites from our neighborhood. We would definitely stay again.

Local area was actually OK and not different to many other parts of Rome we saw. Restaurant outside the property was noisy until late and then also disposed of bottles loudly at 4am during our stay.
Breakfast area was pleasant and staff were responsive in fixing shower issues. Bed could have easily been better. It was actually a lovely little place to stay and well located for exploring Rome.

This place was in an excellent area of trastevere! The room was perfect, large bathroom, good sized room and decorated nicely!

Simply perfect
My wife and I stayed at Ventisei Scalini a Trastevere for our anniversary and couldn't have been happier. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean and very comfortable.

Despite never meeting in person, Lucia was a wonderful host and we couldn't have asked for more. We were late arriving but gaining entry was simple and straightforward. We had far more than we needed for breakfast including fruit juices, tea and two different types of coffee. Being on the ground floor we also benefited from a small outside space, perfect for the two of us.

The location was ideal. We were a short walk from the Tiber, which was great to stroll alongside of an evening, and if anyone was looking for a little more nightlife, the main restaurants in Trastevere were a short walk in the other direction. On our first day we bought tickets to use on the metro but didn't get on it once. If you're happy to wander you can easily reach all of the main "tourist" sites. We walked to the Colosseum, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, Castel Sant'Angelo and St Peter's Square and Basilica and so much more.

We cannot recommend this place enough. Do yourself a favour and book a long weekend. You won't regret it.

Great location & beautiful luxe bedrooms
The luxury room was beautifully decorated & the king bed was really comfortable. Easy self check-in, great location & nice continental breakfast included. No left luggage option unfortunately after check out & steep stairs up to the rooms but everything else was great
