The hotel doesn’t feel like a hotel at all, and I didn’t feel safe during my stay. The rooms are poorly maintained, with an almost unusable, outdated shower. The breakfast restaurant offers limited, low-quality options. The only real advantage is its central location near all attractions.

Great location but felt I was in someone's house. Almost got trapped in the shower, which had such a dumb door. People yapping at all hours. Sheez. Stay in the place opposite.

I went abroad for my first time and chose Rome. I found Hotel Ferraro on *********** for a bargain price of £154 for 3 nights. It was easy to find from Rome Termini- about 15/20 minute walk. The hotel emailed me a couple of days before giving instructions if there was no one on Reception. The hotel is on the second floor of the building. On arrival I entered the code emailed to me and my keys had been left on the Reception Desk with my invoice. I had booked a single room but was pleasantly surprised I'd been given a double room. There were no towels on arrival but that was soon sorted out. It's very quiet and peaceful- barely heard anything on my 3 night stay. The room was perfect for what I needed. There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but I don't drink much tea so that was no issue for me. The shower I had didn't look much but it was honestly one of the best showers I've used. I like a few pillows and used a blanket to bulk up the two I had... the next day I had been given extra pillows. The rooms are made up everyday which is lovely for the price I paid. Location wise it is perfect! Literally 2 minutes walk from the Colesseum which highly recommend booking a tour for. The metro is also right by the Colesseum (€ 1.5 for 100 minutes travel). Roman Forum is literally at the bottom of the road. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. A little supermarket next door to hotel. I would definitely stay here again... I am planning another trip but this hotel seems to fully booked but I can see why it is so popular with location and peacefulness. I think breakfast is included but I don't really eat breakfast and didn't have much appetite due to the heat so can't comment on the breakfast.

We booked this accommodation for 30 hrs stopover in Rome, especially because of the breakfast provided. Before the arrival, we received an email asking when we come, because the reception runs until 6 pm. However we could not make it by this time, so they send us the entrance codes, together with the information that the key from our room (no. 19) will be on the reception table. We could not open the main building door with the provided code. Hopefully, there was a tourist already with the key, however, he could not open the door either. Fortunately, after we tried several times, we opened it. As promised, on the reception table the key was prepared, so we took it and went to room no 19. We got in, but what a surprise! - somebody was already accommodated there. On the key was written the number 23. We went to try this room and was empty so we stayed there. But this stressful experience leads us to the conclusion that they use universal keys and you can open every room which you want(?!?). The room was clean and warm, but no pillows, no beddings, just blanket. During the night we could not sleep, the window was orientated towards the street. Based on the previous reviews we expected noise so we had earplugs, but even so, we could hear the noise. The position of the hotel is really good. Morning brought us another surprise, we talked to the guy on the reception who was super unwilling and when we asked about breakfast (for which we paid!) he just laughed and told us today the restaurant is closed and also mentioned that we are 8 minutes late anyway because breakfast is served until 10 am. I emphasize that the accommodation was not cheap, so I would expect a totally different pro-clients orientation.

good location, right on the doorstep of the colleseum. very basic room although was expecting it from the description. Overall pleased.

Room is small, bed is fine, bathroom is meh. However, the location is great, the price is great, and the staff is fantastic! It's been a pleasure to stay here, and I would happily do so again.

Great location, spitting distance from the Colosseum. Clean basic accommodation. Very friendly helpful staff.

Even this is a small and an old hotel, I enjoyed my stay there. Room was big enough and clean. Free breakfast. Free WiFi (very good/fast). For the price, you cannot beat it's great position (next to the Colosseum, city center within 10 minutes on foot). Good value for the money. Owner was very friendly.

As my usual headline: Do not visit hotels - visit countries! This is the one of the million places as B&B in Rome and i am would like to highlighte about this place next: it is in 15min of walking from train station, 2 minutes of walking from Coliseum, forum, hills. Place offer 24/7 contact with host (Perfect Claudia lives nearby and ready to help immediately), you live as in own flate since you have personal keys for whole building & room. It is fully refurbished. And remarks are only, conditioner is ok but we would like it would be more powerfully.

Many thanks for Claudia from our family for making our Rome holidays so sweet!!!

Perfect location, perfect people and good rooms. Really good beds.

Excellent hotel for the price, nothing flashy but very clean (bathroom in particular exceeded expectations), quite comfortable. Very warm, much appreciated in February! There is wifi, slow as anything but it exists. Breakfast is also nice enough.

Location is absolutely fantastic, less than ten minutes to get to the colosseum, and several nice, non-tourist trap restaurants around.

There never seems to be a staff member at the reception desk, but they left directions on how to get into my room and everything seems clean enough, so I certainly can't complain.

Very satisfied on the whole!
