Marta Inn in Rome

We took two issues with this hotel:
1. We were not actually housed at Marta Inn, despite our booking. They put us in a different building several blocks away in another inn called SantaMaria Inn. They were not willing to honor the original booking. We still don't know why.
2. The front desk attendant woke us up after 11 PM on the last nigh of our stay to show us a photo. It was a dirty towel on a bathroom floor. He said that it was our bathroom, and we had to pay for dirtying up their towel. We were quite upset for 1) waking us up, when we had to catch a train first thing next morning; 2) trying to get into our room so late in the night (we had no peephole to verify who actually was trying to get in); 3) for asking for money to compensate for a dirty towel and 4) because that bathroom floor and towel weren't even ours. We knew that immediately, because the floor was indeed filthy and the towel looked like someone wiped their shoes in it, which we did not do (picture is posted). We argued, then provided proof, that the image was from a different bathroom (not the same tile pattern as ours - again, picture is posted). Eventually, they admitted that they were wrong, but this left a really bitter taste in our mouths.
Otherwise, the facility was clean and completely acceptable, the location not bad (near where the latest pope is buried and 10 minutes to the railway station. However, due to changing the location and the towel issue, we do not recommend this hotel/inn.
Note: add 6 hours to the times shown on the screenshots, as these were 6 hours ahead of our current time.
