Reviews
I changed many hotels during my trip to Italy and this was the best.
Comfort, new rooms, convenient location in the center, 1 minute to the bus stop, delicious breakfast by the standards of the Roman hotels I stayed in.
My recommendation.
I recommend it to those who come with friends...
There are also quite a few convenient facilities nearby.
In order to get to this "room", you need to exit the building into the courtyard, walk a few meters down the street to the utility or technical rooms, find the door with the number 138, and there is not a single light source near it (you will have to use a flashlight at night), and enter the code.
The room is modest in size, it has a table, a chair, a folding bed, shelves for clothes, a safe, a TV, an air conditioner with a torn off lid. And the worst thing is that the room does not have a full-fledged window! There are only a couple of narrow openings in the wall, and even on a clear day no light penetrates into them! In addition, these structures cannot be opened and the room cannot be ventilated due to the strong, pungent smell of cleaning products. After checking in, late in the evening, I opened the door to the street, putting a chair there to somehow get rid of these smells, and for a long time I could not start to rest, instead sitting at the threshold.
I approached with a request to change the room, and I was ready to pay extra, but they told me that the hotel was fully booked.
For the first time in my life, I give bad ratings, just to attract the attention of the hotel management. You can't put people in a room without giving them the right to get acquainted with its nuances at the booking stage!
I did not expect this from the B&B hotels chain.
On the plus side, the "room" is good and recently renovated, everything is new, although the furnishings are sparse. The bathroom is excellent, 10 out of 10!
The hotel staff deserves the highest marks. Breakfast is 3 out of 5, average.
The good points of this hotel: the location is very good, the train station and various attractions are within walking distance. I booked this hotel on the spur of the moment to catch a flight, which is very convenient.
The front desk is very enthusiastic, and there is a grandfather who is very nice. I went to catch the train at 5 am. Since the elevator 🛗 is a manual one, if there is a floor that is not closed, the elevator will be useless. The grandfather personally helped me lift the suitcase to the first floor!
The price-performance ratio is too high! It is the cheapest hotel I stayed in during this trip to Europe.
If you want to experience living in a beautiful old house in Rome, this is a very good hotel
Cafe and Restaurants near hotel
Also the main dishes we had weren’t to our taste.
The main pros are the great location, assuming you will use public transportation, and the breakfast is pretty good.
The rooms look extremely nice at a first sight but as soon as you get settled in you realize things don't work well. The shower was broken and the AC was malfunctioning in my room. The wifi was terrible and would just not work at all even tho I was here on the low season. Things I would expect of a budget hotel but definitely not a 5* infrastructure.
I complained about the wifi because I needed to take an important call but the reception person only got rid of me saying they would check with the maintenance person the next morning and it didn't get better at all.
