My friend and I traveled to Rome, and we were a little apprehensive. But the pleasant surprise of meeting such kind and friendly people, the amazing room they gave us with a little terrace, made our stay unforgettable. Everything was spotless, and the cleaning staff, always smiling, made us feel right at home. We would definitely go back. Thank you, Hotel Impero, for everything! 🙏🙏🙏

Close to Termini and bus stops so it’s convenient however it’s a little bit far from famous locations so I recommend you say the first day and the last day of your trip, overall service was really good and I liked the vibe of the place, it had a lot of vintage pieces and the lobby is really beautiful

Hotel was okay but so many stairs! Elevator is also small and can barely fit 2 people + luggage. Be mindful when booking. Easy checkin and out

The hotel isn't far from Rome Termini Station, about a ten-minute walk. However, those driving should be aware that some cars parked downstairs have had their windows smashed. The overall environment is decent, but the facilities are really poor. On the first day, the air conditioning in my assigned room made a constant, extremely loud noise. Plus, there was a glass window on the door that let in light, so even with the lights off at night, the hallway lights were a major disturbance. The light and noise pollution made it impossible to sleep! I went to the front desk in the early hours, and they agreed to move me to a new room, which was perfectly fine the next day. I initially thought they were being discriminatory towards East Asians by giving me a bad room, but then on the second night, I saw that someone else had moved into my old room. So maybe they just didn't want to leave it empty. Regardless, I definitely won't be staying here again.

The room was a bit compact, but for Rome, it was perfectly adequate. The hotel's toiletries were excellent, especially the lotion, which I really liked. The hotel is very close to Termini Station, which was originally a factor since I planned to travel by train. However, we ended up taking taxis everywhere. We walked to Piazza Venezia, Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps. Next door, there's a Chinese restaurant called Wangxianglou; their boiled beef was decent, and the hot and sour soup was quite authentic. There's also a scooter rental nearby; we rented a Vespa for half a day for 45 euros.

I booked a last-minute stay at Hotel Impero and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Although the price was high due to the short notice, it was a good experience overall. The room was clean, reasonably spacious for one person, and conveniently located near Termini Station. The balcony offered a lovely view of the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma 😃 The staff member who welcomed me late at night was very attentive and fluent in several languages. The one who handled my check-out was not as friendly, but nothing major. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Stayed at this 3 star hotel in Rome. Had not the best experience, AC didn’t work perfectly, it was very hot and we lowered it to 16°C (minimum they had) and it was like 26°C. Room smelled like it’s very old, sink didn’t work properly too, bugs in the bathroom. Wouldn’t recommend, since the hotel couldn’t even help us. Had to contact trip and they tried to reach out the hotel but couldn’t and had to solve the issue by themselves. Thanks Trip for solving this, but if you are looking for good cheap place to stay in Rome - it’s definitely not the one!

Erratic Pricing & Textbook False Advertising?!

**Location:** While it appeared close to the train station on the map, it was actually quite a distance.

**Facilities:** The hotel is quite old. The mattress behind the bed was visibly dirty. I was utterly bewildered that I ended up paying over 1200 [local currency] for a room that, judging by the photos, should have cost around 600 – essentially double the price I had anticipated! 😵💫

The main issue is that the room I received was entirely different from the 'Comfort Twin/King Room' displayed in the blue photos when I booked. I had specifically chosen this hotel because of the beautiful balcony shown in those images. And guess what? That photo actually belonged to a rooftop restaurant at *another* hotel! Moreover, they listed a 4-person room under the 2-person room category. In China, this blatant misrepresentation is considered false advertising and is a serious violation of consumer protection laws. I was utterly frustrated. 🙄

My exciting Roman holiday quickly turned into frustration upon arrival at the hotel.

However, Ctrip's customer service was decent in handling the situation. I truly hope they will more rigorously vet their listings and inform hotels that such false advertising is illegal in China and can lead to significant penalties, like a 'refund plus triple compensation.' Beyond the deception, the room itself was incredibly small, and the walls were quite dirty. I didn't switch hotels partly because of the hassle, but primarily because it was a non-refundable booking. From now on, no matter the cost, I will *never* book a non-refundable hotel again!!! Folks, please make sure to always opt for cancellable reservations and thoroughly check reviews.

The breakfast was passable, and the cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, everything else fell short.

First off, the hotel's location is excellent, right next to a major subway station, making it very convenient for late-arriving guests. The front desk is open 24 hours. There are a few good restaurants right outside. However, the room I was assigned was further inside, so there was no window view. The price was quite reasonable, and overall, I'd say it was a good experience.

Location is great ! Everything is a walking distance! The reception looks all nice and new However the rooms are old.
Also the main dishes we had weren’t to our taste.

The room was awful. The air conditioner will make noise throughout the whole entire night. I barely slept. The condition over all of the room wasn’t the best. It was in a great location. They make the hotel seem nice but once you check in the rooms are definitely not in the best condition. The bed was comfortable but the aesthetic of the room was very old fashion like back in the 90s. I didn’t have a problem with staff. I wish we had a better night stay. The only window we had in our room was a window view of some stairs.

Amazing hotel. Very central in Rome. Staff were absolutely excellent. Warm welcome. Room was gleaming top to bottom. Hotel decor was class. Very tasty buffet breakfast each morning. Wide selection of cuisine to satisfy everyone's tastebuds. A huge thank you to all here for a memorable visit.

The hotel is pretty much 5* only on the amount charged in the property taxes.

The main pros are the great location, assuming you will use public transportation, and the breakfast is pretty good.

The rooms look extremely nice at a first sight but as soon as you get settled in you realize things don't work well. The shower was broken and the AC was malfunctioning in my room. The wifi was terrible and would just not work at all even tho I was here on the low season. Things I would expect of a budget hotel but definitely not a 5* infrastructure.

I complained about the wifi because I needed to take an important call but the reception person only got rid of me saying they would check with the maintenance person the next morning and it didn't get better at all.

Omg, simply what? what is this place? 5 stars and I am laughing out loud🤣 room without windows and staff at the reception are beyond rude. Highly discourage you to waste your money at this place. I cannot believe I have not read the reviews before. You cannot even breathe at the room without turning the AC at 17 degrees when it is 9 outside. Could not sleep well and had the worst experience ever. Please do not come to this place at all.
